Shunatsu Kaneira the Great How about a mistery box lotto? It's where you create a set numb of boxes with 'cheap' prizes and two or three grand prizes. People pay 2k for a box of their chioce. They are garunteed a prize, but understand that the non-winners are cheaps. We could all toss in a few inventory trash and I could toss in some of my unused IEs. I don't mind running the lotto if needed^^' It could work. Sounds rather promising. What do you think, Poy? o-o The Sands of Time Blow.... Hmmm..... I'll look into it. I need to see if there are any rules related to it or not. ....Greeting the Demonic Prince.

Ambu ~ Wrapped Presents These are legitimate games, but please be aware that it is easily to be scammed by doing so. With user-wrapped gifts you have no way of knowing for sure of what you are buying. Often times users lie about the value of an item to get more out of them. Please be very careful when purchasing wrapped presents. Please also note that because the point of selling wrapped presents is the surprise of what you get, sellers are not required to prove what is in the box. WRAPPED PRESENTS ARE BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK. Users selling wrapped presents; if you say the value of an item is 10-15k but really is only 2k this is classified as a scam and is bannable. As well, lying about the actual items in the wrapped gift are bannable as well. The Sands of Time Blow.... Found this in the rules of the contest forum. It's seems there is no rule against what Kaneira is suggesting. But the thread does seem to say a lot that these kinds of games are VERY risky for people wishing to play them. Admittedly, it would be rather hard (Likely impossible) To prove it's not a scam to people wishing to play. (Without telling them what the prizes are, or what box they are in.)
Hmm.... I do see it as an option, but I'd like us to be very careful when organizing it. There should be enough loser boxes for us to make a profit off of, even if all three prizes are gotten early.
Perhaps something like 50 loser gift boxes, and 3 winner ones. The winner ones having items worth between 20k and 30k. and we sell each box for 5k a piece. Allowing people to buy as many boxes as they wish. We would only need people to buy roughly 12 - 18 boxes for us to break even then. It would be unlikely for the three prizes to be found by then, though it's still possible.
On the flip side of that. We could have 3 winners, and 30 losers at 5k each, allowing each person to buy one giftbox, and only handing out the boxes once each box was won. (We'd get 165k for sure this way, assuming that it ended, which would be enough to have a small profit after all is said and done.)
*Yawns.* I just woke up, so I'm going to do my morning stuff and think more about this. ....Greeting the Demonic Prince.

It's really no more risky then a normal ticket lotto only you're garunteed to walk away with something^^' I was thinking we'd hand prizes out as soon as they are bought, but reveal them officially at the end of a week.

The Sands of Time Blow.... But it appears to people who join in contests that it is. After all, they NEVER seen the prizes, they have to take your word on it. >.<'
Make a Test in this forum so I can see your idea in full please? I'll probably go with it. But I want to make sure it's well put together first. >.>'

Only the first post done huh? Looking good so far. Just as a warning, things that work in Gaia's Forums don't always work in guild forums. So if coding isn't working the way you want it, there may be nothing wrong with the coding. ^.^ ....Greeting the Demonic Prince.

Yeah I was noticing it was being stubborn. Maybe I should make a test thread outside the guild? I was ganna move the boxes to a second post actually now that I look over it. the first one is a bit crowded xC But as far as as a rules section goes, theres only two rules that are needed right now, a limit on the boxes per person and the rule about not sharing your prizes until the end of the event. and I was wondering if all the room members could maybe pass me unused/ junk items for the minor prizes? I'm putting in like 10 inks for some boxes and a few more valuable daily chance items. I'm thinking about putting a 1-2k minimum value for the not so wanted prizes. For the main prize I was thinking about putting up my supioror form thats been severely neglected and maybe a runner up prize as squerral cosplay

I finished it so far, just need to get the items together and such. The section on the box post with the 'open' 'closed' and 'revealed' key will be ommitted for the actual thread. New rules? Suggestions?[link Clickie] EDIT Alright so I've got a decent price list in order all we need is a launch date, an end date and to set a price per box. I'm thinking 2k a box is fair, but there are a couple items that are cheaper then 1k, however there also quit a few 10k items in the mix.

Note 1: I have plenty more junk items if you need them.
Note 2: a good way to judge the prices is simple. 2,000g x 56 boxes = 112,000g. If that's higher then the total worth of the items. Then it's a good price from our point of view. ....Greeting the Demonic Prince.
