The power of Lights attack slammed into her shield,most anyone else would have failed at destroying Ultimecia's protective shield, where as Light's was just amazingly strong. He would see it shimmer away, it's existence dissipated away leaving the deadly Time Sorceress vulnerable to attack! Now was the same to strike, if they had all teamed up against her, with the others out of the way it may be a quicker victory, though Edea and Alanah didn't quite make that so easy. She didn't even have time to take note of Squall's sudden appearance, not that she was at all surprised to see him here.

Edea meanwhile, Turned her attention now to the strange armored teen, her ice spell taken out by his own attack. "Such annoying children. To beleive you could stop me so easily. I'll take you're life quickly, so that you don't suffer......to badly. " She now began to cast another spell, Firaga which she would direct to Jet.

Alanah suddenly disappeared, as if she knew the young Gunblade wielder was there all along. Then, simply appeared a second later beside Edea and Sylvia. "I knew you would somehow find you're way here. Let's see how you fight with this, dear. " That same stabbing pain Rinoa and Aliya knew well, would start to enter Squalls own mind. Though this power she used most often, did have it's limits. It didn't -always- work with one with a strong mind. The weak were easy to manifest, luckily for Rinoa she didn't have that much of time to do what she would have with Squalls interruption, which also stopped the attack on Rinoa's mind.

The blue clad one stood slowly, shaking her head a little as if to clear her mind. Her eyes fell upon Squall, and suddenly, she wasn't sure how to feel. That part of her wanted to jump in excitement, her Hero had come to save her -again-. But, that wasn't what she really wanted! This was to be her insane, near suicidal mission but certain armored men over there made that task impossible! ".....! ....I ...I wanted to do this on my own, Squall! " She said in her defense. She knew this wasn't the time for conversation and explenations, so the rest would be told later, her reasons for doing such a stupid thing. Raising the Shooting Star to aim for Alanah, she let it fly off toward her. The bladed weapon went flying fast toward her, and striking right across her cheeks and a bit of her nose! Ouch. The crimson haired Sorceress stumbled back, clutching her blood covered face and suddenly just disappearing! Who knew she held so much pride in her looks? "..........I suddenly feel bad..." Rinoa thought to herself. Feeling bad for hurting someone who wanted to kill them all, of course! "So sorry! Sorry! Sorry! " Even though she was gone, she hoped she heard her apology's. Then! She ran over to Squall. "She's going to kill me isn't she? " The way she said this, was a sort of joking manor, despite their situation Rinoa could find a way to make some bad situation slightly humerus!

"Enough of this." Came the voice of Ultimecia. With no warning, she raised a hand, creating a dark energy to flow all around the group of hero's, Hells Judgement. A most devastating attack which would drop there life to near death in an instant!

Ultimecia took on each hit thrown at her, unable to dodge or vanish quick enough to avoid them. Next, as she was somewhat weakened, as the warrior of Light suddenly slammed into her,she was thrown into the wall, colliding harshly into it only to slump down for just a few seconds..

After she had gotten up and started to cast on Hells Judgement, as much as she thought she would be able end them here, that thought was proven wrong as a smaller blade went across her chest, making her cast end right there. "You insect..! I will --- " Her words then cut off as a tripple cast of Meteor was suddenly summoned. The time sorceress couldn't stop it, ether.. As the group was taken to a sort of safe realm, she would begin to be hammered down with many, many meteors.. Rinoa had gone into her Angel Wing trance, which meant trouble for Ultimecia.. By the time the spell ended, and the group returned, she was already down on her knees, hissing toward the blue clad girl...And without a word, she just.......vanished! Following her was Sylvia and Alanah, Edea however stood behind, something seemed to be wrong with her...She was kneeling onto her knees, a hand clutching her head...

Rinoa blinked as she turned to Squall, a somewhat awkward silence slipped between the two as she lightly scuffed the tip of her black boot against the surface of the ground. She did this when she was nervous or sometimes in other cases shy about something. As Squall began to speak, first mentioning her name she gave him a questioning look, her innocent soft brown eyes resting on his blue ones. " Yes, Squall?" Then came the sudden yelling! One might think Rinoa would have jumped of surprise, but no, she didn't. She only looked surprised, while if anyone was good at reading Rinoa, they would know the excitement and sudden thrill the young Sorceress had in her eyes! Clasping her hands together in front of her chest, Rinoa gave him one of her most innocent, sweet looks while trying to contain her excitement which would be obvious if she did her little happy hops! " I'm sorry... But! I had to. I had to do this on my own. I didn't want to risk your life or anyone else's! If I can beat her on my own then........ Then maybe I can be normal again, and not harm anyone in the future. Not kill anyone... I don't want to be a monster, Squall.... ! " Her tone became softer, though also a little more serious and almost seeming afraid. Afraid for the others.. And for him.

The dark haired women slowly raised her head to look to the silver haired one before her, her facial expression had taken to quite a change, as it looked softer, more gentle rather then the cold and deadly look she seemed to hold on her features. For what seemed a long moment Edea said nothing, the shame she felt again was just beyond what she could take, How many times would this happen again? Attacking people close to her, Squall, being one of the most important here that he knew here so far from the past. He was to her, one of her children like Irvine, Selphie, Quistis and Seifer.
