“TSH… She’s named CANCER, and she didn’t jump in the way for US she jumped in the way for Tatiana back there, really nice with the swearing too, does it make you feel bigger? YOU jump in a whale next time…think I’d like it better you little Prima Doña, it’s not like we sat back and TWIDDLED our thumbs. Think they did?” She pointed at at the two Virgo was planning on taking first.

Except it wasn’t worth the rant, the preachy little ‘terrorist’ vanished.

“Why do I get the feeling our ‘friendly’ little terrorist didn’t get to do what she THOUGHT she was going to do?” She scowled cradling her arm. “God… I just want to go home, not listen to tiny terrorists with short term memory loss.” She groaned.

She did move though to try and help guard their worst injured. She didn’t think the tiny ‘terror’ could be relied on for that. Go figure that rainbow worlds with space whales would turn into some kind of crazy house of horrors.

“Beam me up scotty, I want to go home.”

Eric spun the belt lazily as he kept an eye out for space sharks, bat cupcakes or anything else that might appear to break more arms, legs and ribs.

He only half listened to Dannay. He didn't agree, but there was no need to voice that.

"We all need to calm down" He said, hoping she wouldnt realize he was talking to her mostly.

"The worst thing we can do is panic. The lass will be coming back soon, like she said, and she'll be taking us home two by two."

He hoped maybe he was convincing some of them.

"Until then, lets just relax. Does anyone want to hear a song or play a game perhaps?"

It was a stupid suggestion he knew, but maybe even the ridiculousness of it would lighten the mood. Or cause mass panic. Hed have to wait and see.

Green's brow knitted as Virgo gave him the summary of the events that just happened and suddenly he felt panic rise in his chest. He frantically looked around for his friends, but Roxy, Wallace, and Flannery were no where to be seen.

Still, he tried to calm himself down and get a little grounded. People were hurt, and his first instinct was to rush and announce he could help. Unfortunately that wasn't the case and he was still feeling a little loopy from hitting his head. He dug around in his scrubs pockets to see what odds and ends ended up in space with him, and really, it wasn't much. He had some medical tape, some cotton balls, some gauze, a pen, a penlight, and his leatherman. But none of those things were especially useful when people were broken or had large, bleeding gashes.

Captain Virgo said she was going to take the injured home, so he held out hope, but then that pop happened and she was gone, but Gilbert and the chick with him remained right where they were.

Green panicked. If they couldn't go home, he was very sure they were all doomed, especially poor Gilbert who looked like he'd been hit by a ******** bus.

"Oh, god, she left us," He said and would've done his usual run around in circles if he wasn't rudely reminded of how dizzy his bump on the head made him feel. Instead he sunk back down to the marble ground and cringed, resting his forehead on his hands. At least he managed to not yell 'we're all going to die'.

But after he got his bearings he was back up. "None of us should really be moving," At least that was his redundant say on matters. "And I've got enough odds and ends to maybe patch up... one, maybe two open wounds," He offered, even though it wasn't much. "Also anyone who hit their head should probably be checked for a concussion," He added, his voice growing more confident as he spoke. He could at least offer that much, making himself feel useful. He didn't care if people were being touchy or sarcastic; They had every right to be, but he didn't have it in him to be that way.

Eric looked when Green spoke.

"A medical man eh? Could you prioritize who needs your healing, and then give the rest of us a check up? I bumped my noggin back there, but these lasses are worse off then me-"

He motioned to Candice, Molly and Mal

Oh, that...

That was not supposed to happen. Virgo looked around her living room at home, and scowled; she never thought she'd be unhappy to be at home. The civilians had remained behind, but she'd been sure she'd had a firm grip... She could hear Dad, Pop and Tristan eating dinner, and was glad for that. The noise made by a senshi vanishing and reappearing--displacing and then replacing air--was somewhat unobtrusive, compared to the sound of Tristan eating dinner.

(Okay, that was mean.)

She scraped her hand down her fuku and after a moment's consideration, dropped it. Elke stood there for just a moment before she henshined up again, the clothes settling around her once more, but cleaner. Then, cellphone in hand, she returned to the Surrounding.

--

Virgo's arrival to the Surrounding gave her just a moment of peace inside her outpost; she sighed, and then jumped when her phone rang. Leo's symbol flashed on the screen, and she picked it up with some trepidation. At least he was okay. "Allo, Leo. What's wrong?"

He sounded tense, she thought, as he asked: "Have you tried taking any civilians back home?"

That wasn't a good sign. Virgo paced across the portico in front of Temple Virgo, veil and bow drifting behind her. "Yes. It didn't work. I was about to try again, actually." She knew which direction to go in, because if they were on the Leo side she would have been able to sense her comrade; they would have been able to see the Rococo splendor of the Fifth of Twelve's home. But she'd been able to see Libra's Regency monument, not any golden facade. She'd just have to go towards Libra.

"But you were able to go? I got back to my room fine, but I couldn't take the civilian. I'm wondering if it's a good idea to keep going back and forth. I'm not far from my Outpost, actually.. I could just take them there."

That would be a good idea, she thought, hesitating over her answer as she stepped back onto the marble pathway. She, rather selfishly, really didn't want to introduce civilians to what was a sacred place; but she would, because they were scared and hurt and Temple Virgo had the most space and the most clean, potable water. Plus, it had defenses these open spaces of the Surrounding didn't. "I was able to go. Dad and Pop and Tristan are eating dinner… The civilians I tried to take stayed behind. I still want to try again, though… but if you're sure that you did everything right, Leo, you should take them to your outpost."

"All right." He paused, let out a slow sigh, and asked, "Have you tried contacting the Princess?"

She grimaced. Right, as the Captain she should be trying to make sure Chronos was safe. The civilians were so hurt, though, she just... "I haven't called the Princess yet, no," she admitted after a long moment. "That's going to be after this next attempt, I didn't bring anything back and I might as well if it will help..."

"Call me if you can take them home, all right? I'll try again if you can. I just don't want to shake their faith anymore, so... I'm going to get them to my Outpost and then get in touch with the Princess." Right, because it was so much better to shake their faith in her! But... she figured she needed to find something that would help move the injured. It seemed like half of her civilians had broken legs and the rest had broken arms, and Virgo wasn't sure she could carry some of them simply due to sheer size difference. She was slim and short. At least the one with the strange breathing was much, much taller than her.

She nodded, though. "Alright. Um…" Could she really waste time making social calls if she couldn't even help people? "I'll call you if I can, but if I haven't in five minutes, assume I can't. Okay?"

"Okay. Love you," he said, and she smiled a little as she returned it and said goodbye. She hung up just as she reached the group again, the smile turning into a frown.

Deep breath. "It's not working," she said, bluntly. "The only one of my comrades to get into contact with me can't take civilians back to Earth either. So my question to you all is, do you want me to try again? Or would you rather I stayed and moved you to some place better protected?"

Candice hadn't noticed, but after Virgo disappeared, Gilbert and Mal were supposed to be... With her? But she could clearly see that the two were still standing there, maybe as confused as she was. "I thought you two were going to be brought home? I don't think here counts as home..."

As Green mentioned that he could patch some wounds and Eric motioning her over, she let out a small smile. "Thank you bot, kindly, but I don't think 'patching up' my broken arm is that easy." Candice tried lifting up her arm to show them, but the pain caused her to grimace and immediately put her arm back down.

"Well, all we can do is wait for the teleporting Miss back? Maybe she can tell us why no one can get home... I hope that stupid whale didn't drain her of her power." Candice was starting to get more and more angry due to the fact of her not being able to actually do something to help; she was starting to lose her composure.

As she heard the Soldier come back, she stood up and walked a few steps towards Virgo. "Is something the matter, Miss?"

Eric was about to open his mouth to respond to Candice when Virgo re appeared.

After she was done, he raised his hand meekly

"Is there perhaps a third option? I for one would be all for moving our injured to somewhere safer and then re attempting whatever it was you just tried to do. Course I dont really know anything about your... uh... abilities, so I may just be talking out of my a**..."

He surveyed all the injured men and women fearfully. They really didnt stand a chance if a space monkey or something showed up, but niether did he think he wanted to stay here any longer then he had to.

"Yeah, broken bones..." Green grimaced and shook his head, "I don't think there's anything that can be done other than just avoid moving." He was starting to feel more hopeless than he'd like to admit, but a little part of him felt better when Virgo reappeared. At least he knew she wasn't ditching them.

"It doesn't work?" He asked dumbly, swallowing nervously. He did agree with Eric, they needed to be somewhere safe before they started trying failed methods again, but they still needed to try, so he just nodded in response to the other guy talking.

"These people need medical help before anything, or they're just going to get worse," He added meekly, "Well, after we're safe from anymore space whale attacks."
He knew how bad a broken bone left untreated could get, not to mention the people like himself who hit their heads. All of these things could easily get worse, and he was incredibly paranoid someone was going to drop dead before they even found any answers.

"W-what about her?" He asked, making a shy gesture to Sailor Cancer. He still couldn't wrap his brain around Virgo's reassurance that they could treat her better here than on Earth, but a big part of him was hoping it was true.

She had praise her, really praised her. She could live on that for at lest good 30 minutes. She smiled up to her weird angel and let out a soft giggle.

As she talked she nodded. She was going to be second to live this horrible place. Oh thank goodness, she was so happy, just so happy. She watch, waiting for them to leave, but only Virgo left. She blink and blink again waiting for them to leave but they did not. She started to cry. "Where all going to die here. Die." she wail on.

There was no hope. Virgo was gone and this was going to be the end of the world, but just before she lost all hope her weird angel came back for her. She smiled hoping that she had an explanation for her. But at alas she did not. She was just as confused as her. She frown and answered her, "I think it might be better if we shelter to be more protected. It seems like we're not going home so it's really no real reason to try again." she said.

It seem like Molly McCater was really growing up.

“…My vote is protected, if it didn’t work once from here maybe it’s bad… Cell signal.” It was a strange analogy perhaps but she did wave a hand trying to indicate the cell phone the girl had briefly held.

“…I can take one arm for ‘Cancer of someone else can get the other…I can’t do both a stupid BAT got me…an I’m kind of dizzy here so it’s better maybe that I don’t do it on my own.”

She paused thinking and wondered if she should voice one other concern, it might have showed in her eyes but she pushed it away. By god she was going to be a good space survivor and not put anyone into a panic. Les Stroud would be proud of her.

It would be like ‘Survivor Man’, in space.

"Yes," she said. Something was very much the matter, considering that she couldn't return people home and she knew that she should be able to. Themis had said, and why would Themis lie? She smiled a little wanly. "There is a third option. We'll provide you a safe place to stay in case my teleportation still doesn't work, and find a way to get people up here to help us take care of you." She scrubbed one hand down her uniform skirt, and then looked off towards the Temple. "Do you see that? That's my home, Temple Virgo. If you can walk, you should start heading towards that place. There's a path up to the portico, you can sit down there."

Green's asking after Sailor Cancer brought a smile to the Zodiac Captain's face, bright and wide. "She'll be all right," she promised. "We really do know how to help her. I'd never let Cancer die. And I won't let anything else happen to any of you. So don't fear." Though, it'd be easier to tell them that if she hadn't said something just like that twenty minutes before. She rubbed her fingertips against her forehead, and stooped to pick up her unconscious companion's body. She would bring the blue-haired Zodiac to the Castle later--they had facilities there that would certainly help.

She considered for a moment. "If you can walk, you should start heading towards the Outpost," she said, indicating the temple in the distance with a jerk of her chin. "We should go there quickly, so as not to waste any time."

((From this point on, it's assumed that the group has traversed the path to Virgo Outpost and its Temple. There will be a mod post soon to tell you what to do next; but feel free to assume that Virgo carried you (if your legs are broken or you are otherwise incapable of movement) or that you took the lovely ten-minute walk along the marble pathway. =) thanks for your patience, guys!))

Pale hazel eyes had narrowed automatically when Virgo had approached she and Gilbert, but when the other woman made it perfectly clear she was there to help them the teen relaxed. A bit. She still wasn't happy about being there, and her head was still throbbing. These people, the new comers with the fancy outfits and the ears and wings, seemed to know what this place was. The logical leap from there was that they knew what was going on, or might even have caused it. Needless to say, while Felicia appreciated that they all seemed so willing to help, she didn't quite trust them yet. Not even the cat boy that had helped save her earlier. Though he was a few pegs above the others...

She watched as the senshi wrapped her hands around Gilbert and another girl, ginger brows raising curiously, then gasped as she disappeared. That.. Wasn't what was supposed to happen, exactly. From what she'd been saying, the two she was holding onto were supposed to have gone with her, but still. People disappearing and reappearing was pretty impressive. Shame it hadn't worked properly though, Licia was beginning to worry over the man leaning on her. She was supporting the majority of his weight, and his breathing was really labored.

When the senshi addressed them all for a second time the teen couldn't help but sigh, glancing off into the distance towards where Virgo was indicating. It wasn't a very long walk, but Gil.. He wasn't in much of a shape for movie. Hell, the majority of them were injured, no one should be moving around much, but what choice did they have? Stay out here and maybe get attacked again, or walk the short distance to the temple and possible safety. "I vote we walk," she offered finally.

Shoulders squaring, Felicia glanced up at Gilbert with a worried frown. "Do you think you can make it?" He he was willing to try walking, she would stick with him the entire way and be his support. Yet one more stranger she was becoming oddly attached to due to extenuating circumstances. Great.

It looks like the civilians will be here at the Surrounding for awhile! Better go figure out where you are staying while there are still beds left to claim. And while you're here, why not explore the sights and make your self useful at any one of the active outposts?
