"Funny... Every now and then I think it's easier to be alone." Cordelia murmured softly before falling into silence, remaining relatively quiet until the bus came and, even then, throughout most of the ride save for answering little questions here and there; never much, though.
It wasn't until they arrived at the park that she began to open up a bit more; commenting on some of the little things here and there while taking in the general atmosphere. There seemed to be some trace of truth in the saying that Disney was one of the happiest places on earth. She couldn't help but find herself infected by the little bits of music that she could pick out, or even the characters that she was familiar with.
"... Italy, you said?" Her brow lofted as she glanced at the young man. "Or have you thought of something else?"

"I still say italy. There's always the option for salad there if you dont want something heavy to eat. Or all the veggie dishes." He nodded as they wandered through the last of the futuristic stuff and made it to the start of the World Showcase.
It was at least not a chore trying to get things out of Cordelia. She seemed to be doing fine on her own and finally starting to open up as she enjoyed the atmosphere. "Then we can go in the ball on the way out"

"I'll think about it." She smirked softly in regards to his mention of the ball as she peered up at it, pondering for a moment before making her way around the route that would take them to Italy the fastest.
Since there was only two of them it was easier to get a seat than it would've been had they brought an entire party along. While waiting she began to talk a little bit more; bits here and there about the upcoming school year along with a few inquiries as to where it was that Lysander went to school and how he'd met the others that he'd mentioned knowing.

He told her about Azure Valley and how nice it was to go to school with a bunch of nerds who left him alone and actually had brains between their ears. He even told her about the golf team since it was fun and he enjoyed it.
It was a bit harder explaining how he knew Rikard and Demetri, not wanting to go into details about his relationship with Rikard, but he could at least mention prom and running into the blond at a Mexican restaurant.

The mention of prom had opened up another chapter in her story and before she knew it she was slowly spilling the rest of it... Or, rather, as much as she could without revealing too much. In the end she had to admit it felt better, at least a little bit, getting some of it off of her chest; just talking to someone who wasn't going to try and convince her that they knew how she felt, or that they were sure she was going to make it through.
Over dinner she'd expressed her need to get away; to forget about Destiny City and everything that had to do with it... Ignoring how he'd slid his card onto the table to pay for their check until it had already been done, brow furrowing as she glared at him for a moment before letting it slip away.
Together they'd made their way back to the front of the park and when he'd paused by the ball and asked her if she really wanted to get as far away from Destiny City as possible she'd agreed to let him take her to the Future and, from there, to see the stars as they slowly rode back down to Earth...
