Gabreil chuckles at her answers finding them to be cute. "Fair enough because i asked you I will tell you mine. My favorite color is green well jungle green actully. My favoirite food is chinese food. That is one thing most dont know. Sensi loved chinese things and wanted him to start a restrant and practice the art or more specificly martial arts. He remebers. "As for favorite animals. I have two. The tiger and the dragon." He then points to behind her where a huge scroll showed the two as a seal. "Your turn to ask questions Kikyou." He had no problem with letting others have control of things as long as they are trust worthy and wont get you killed.

Kikyou considered. "Tell me about your family?" She proposed. She would happily tell him about hers, if it came to it. It would just be half-truths and dropped hints instead of full disclosure. Besides, based on his behavior, she expected less than full disclosure from him as well. She suspected that he was more like her than she had initially thought. That was...she decided, good. Because it meant that he wouldn't be afraid when she finally did come clean with him.

Gabreil thinks a moment wondering if he should talk of his family but figures that he would have to be honest as much as he could. "Well I am not sure about my real family. They died in some freak accident shortly after I was born. I was too young to remember them. I was taken in by a kind and nice family who showered me with love seems how I was there only son. Lets see.. My mother loved to sing while gardening. My father was into martial arts though refused to teach me. Told me I had to go to his sensi to learn. So I did while young. Sensi quickly became a second father to me. He taught me about not only the arts but to respect life. Sorta like how the Godd... err nevermind I am not saposed to talk about that." He smiles gently at her never taking his eyes off of her. Oh wow I almost told her about the ninja's goddess. I am not saposed to tell anyone about her and beside if I anger the sweet Goddess then I would be in all kinds of trouble.

Kikyou listened, nodding. It reminded her of the story of many a young initiate at the temple. No family, no one but someone who wanted them to learn the martial arts. And then he mentioned a Goddess, or sounded like he was going to, and her heart stopped. 'No, he couldn't be...!' She hadn't been told that there was another operative from the Temple in town, but then again, there wasn't always large amounts of communication between the males and females in the temple. She knew that many of her sisters were guilty of looking down on the males; after all, they hadn't been born for this life the way the females were. "Ryo Kage." She whispered the name, just loud enough for him to hear but not loud enough for anyone else. The Goddess's name. A small code for him.

Gabreil smile brightens and nods. "She who honors us and guides us." He quoted some of the phrase softly so no others could hear his words except her. He then drew a sysbol of the Goddess on the table for her to see. "It would seem that She has plans for us lady Kikyou. I just hope that you dont look down at me as weaker just because I am not born as you are." He says softly. His heart was racing inside his chest. The clues where there the whole time and he igored them but then he was glad he did. She gave him company when not many would. A couple minutes later the waiter came with her tea and his water with lemon. He checked the bottom of the glass to make sure there was nothing there then took a hestaint sip.

Kikyou nodded, her heart beating fast. She reached out and placed a hand on his. "Never," she said quietly. "I-I've never actually..." Her voice was still only at a volume for him to hear. "I've never interacted with any of the males from the temple before. My sensei...ah...doesn't like men in general," she laughed quietly. When the waiter arrived, she slid her hand away from his and performed the same checking ritual on her tea as he had on his water. She gave him a wry smile. "Becomes habit after a while, eh?"

Gabreil laughs at her comment. "Yes it does." In a softer tone he said. "I think both our sensi's are going to skin us alive figurtivly speaking. I am honored to meet you." He then checks the menu as if nothing just happend and started to comment about the food. He wondered what would happen after the meal but had to believe the Goddess has a purpose for placing them in the same area. Surley this meeting was not by chance. "I think I will go with the pork meal. What would you like to order Kikyou?" He was back to the laid back flirty male making it seem like the serious Goddess serving man was gone in a blink of an eye.

Kikyou snorted. "Oh indeed." She said. "Honored to meet you as well," she agreed, smiling at him. Certianly it wasn't simple lack of coordination that had led to them both being here at the same time. If not the Goddess herself, then perhaps her Angelique. Rumor said that she was the sort to set up something like that. She eyed the menu herself and sighed. "Mm, the orange chicken, I think," she said, smiling politely at the waiter.

Gabreil nods at her choice of food to eat then sends the waiter away with a motion of his hand. He continues to keep his hands on the tables top. "The Orange Chicken is good. So tell me what you think of this little town? I found it years back doing much the same as you are now I would imagion." He gives a sexy grin before continuing. "Once I found this place I kinda made it my little get away for when I am given rest time. The people here are a amazing. Friendly and loving. There warmth is what drew me and made me realize that though we are taken care of we dont see much love. Its harsh the lives we live but there are our own rewards."

Kikyou sighed. "Given the opportunity, I would happily settle down in a place like this. But I...don't know that my kind has the option to settle." She blushed a bit at that grin, still not used to being flirted with. His words made her consider her own life. Certainly it wasn't entirely bereft of love..."Or we see it secondhand, without being shown much of it. Because supposedly, it toughens us." She looked at the faes around them, chattering happily and enjoying meals together. "We sacrifice much, but we earn much, I think." She said. She ran her fingers thorguh her hair. "Whether it balances out...But I'm rambling a bit, aren't I?"

Gabreil shakes his head no. "Not at all Kikyou. I too cannot settle down for I work for Her too but like I said it does not stop me from owning my own business or having a house that is a place to secretly rest when allowed to. If you would like I could show you it though its kinda hidden in the forest southeast of here." His eyes held hers his smile soft and warm. Just then the waiter came out there there orders with a cheerful smile. He place the plates down before them then leaned down to wisper in his ear. Gabreil's eyes widens in shock while looking at her but nods. "Understood. Thank you for the message. Tell sensi I will be there shortly." Once the waiter leaves Gabreil sighs running a hand through his hair. "Well looks like I will have to take a raincheek for showing you my place. I have been summoned to the temple's innermost maze. Please enjoy your meal. I will stay for that at the very lest." He gave her a warm smile.

Kikyou nodded. "You're lucky to have this," she said, smiling at him. There was no envy in her voice. She really did mean that she was happy for him. Her eyes flickered to once more take in the happy faes around them. It felt nice to be in such a relaxed atmosphere for once. "I would love to see it," she said, picking up chopsticks and taking a bite. She hoped it wasn't too obvious that she was disappointed he had been called back. "Well, duty calls I suppose. I ought to finish what I came here for myself." She said, and then took another bite of the chicken. "Goodness, this is delicious," she said, a smile on her face.

Gabreil picked up his chop sticks with a warm smile that was no doubt real. "How do you like your Orange chicken?" He'd been watching her eat while still holding the forgotten chopsticks in midair to his food. He could not stop watching her which he had to admit was probley due to the fact that she is a Ninja. He forced himself to look down at his food and take a few small bites of his food. His mind was on two things at this point. Kikyou and being summoned to the Goddess inner temple. Not many made it there that was not in fact Ninja let alone the males who trained. Yes there where 3 he thinks that made it there alive. Wounded but alive. He turned his thoughts from that to the problem at hand. This was his rest time that they pushed him into and now that he is intrested in having some relaxing moments hopefully with Kikyou they summon him. What could be that urgent that they would call him and to the Goddess temple no less.

Kikyou laughed softly. "It's delicious," she said, taking another bite. She was trying to focus on her food and not worry too much about him. Not many were ever called into the inner temple, and it was rumored that if they were unable to find their way to the Goddess or her Angelique (whichever happened to be waiting for them) their fate was...messy, as they were deemed unworthy of the temple. Still, she was sure Gabriel would make it. There was no way he couldn't! From what she had observed, he was as competent as any true Ninja.

Gabreil has a pleased smile on his face as she told him that the food was deliciious. He always took pride in this resturant. "You know you could always come here for your rest time too Kikyou." He offered. "I really would like to see you again. I wish to court you and woo you off your feet even if I know this is a horrible time to ask you. I just wanted you to know." He smiles at her with affection. "I will have the waiter bring you my information should you wish to look me up." He then looks at the food not really too hungry but knowing he will need the engery. He started to eat his meal.
