On August 31, Heechul revealed his new haircut for his fans to see through twitter.
Heechul took intimate photos with Kim Jang Hoon and Siwon, titling the one with Kim Jang Hoon, "Long Hair Versus Short Hair." As it is seen, Kim Jang Hoon has a long and wavy hairstyle while Heechul simply has a short and sharp hairstyle. He jokingly added how he looks like "Lady Chunja" which means a lady with an eccentric image and personality..
Netizens gave comments such as, "Even with short hair, he looks like a top star" and "His new hairstyle doesn't hinder him from looking good."
Heechul later replied by saying, "I hope I'm not causing too much trouble with my military enlistment. I'm really happy that I'm receiving a lot of positive comments - it's really helping me get ready for the military. I will be seeing my members again in one month so no worries."
Heechul, along with his fellow Super Junior members, have been busy promoting their 5th album's title song, "Mr. Simple." Many fans were surprised by Heechul's sudden enlistment into the military right after the release of Super Junior's 5th album. Heechul will be serving for the military base in Chungnam - he will first go through four weeks of basic training and then he will officially serve in the military for twenty-three months.

Pledis Entertainment, the label behind stars like Son Dam Bi and After School, has announced that they will be holding auditions this month in cities across California!
Titled "U.S.A. Personal Audition," Pledis Entertainment officials will be personally visiting applicants that hope to become their next big star for private, 1:1 auditions.
"We've received so many audition requests from fans in the U.S. every time we held auditions for After School's ninth member, After School Boys, and even Happy Pledis. The distance made it impossible for them to try out, and we feel grateful for their interest and support, which is why we decided to go to them for 1:1 private auditions," the casting director for Pledis revealed.
Fans in the L.A. and San Francisco area will be able to submit their applications (in the areas of singing, dancing, acting, and modeling) starting from September 22 to 30 for L.A. and October 1 through 3 for San Francisco.
E-mails detailing name, age, gender, nationality, education, and contact information should be sent to pacemaker@pledis.co.kr. Further information regarding the date and location of your audition will be sent individually to your phone number.

Nine Muses' Sera uploaded a tearful confession video on the group's official YouTube channel talking about some of the hardships and obstacles she faced while studying abroad.
"Today's a day where I'm reminded of my days studying abroad in Canada. I want to share it with my fans. I first studied abroad in order to achieve my dreams of becoming a singer, and a lot of things happened on the way. I felt like a missing child and even cried while hugging a tree," she began amidst much tears.
"There's a song that helped me during those times." Sera then began singing Jessica Simpson's "Where You Are" without a backing track before continuing to say, "I didn't know how to speak English at the time, but I connected with the title because it felt like the song was representing me. I sung it a lot."
Netizens were surprised with her tearful confession, as they left comments like, "She looks like she would have grown up without any troubles so it's a bit surprising to hear," "It's great that she never lost sight of her dreams," and "She's a great singer."
"The members of Nine Muses feel very thankful for the fans that have waited for them during their hiatus. Instead of coming up with a special event, they decided that they wanted to connect on a deeper level with their fans by uploading self made videos of their thoughts and feelings. It's a story difficult to share, but she wanted to show her honest side to her fans. The other members will be releasing their own self made videos, so please look forward to it," officials of Star Empire said.

Members of nine member girl group SNSD visited Sooyoung who was recently placed in the hospital after facing a car accident.
On the 30th, SM Entertainment told Star News, “After Sooyoung was placed in a hospital in Seoul, all the members visited in wishing for a quick recovery” and “Sooyoung gained a lot of strength after the visit of the SNSD members.”
At 9AM on the morning of the 28th, Sooyoung faced a car accident in which she collided with another driver at a local neighborhood gas station in Jukjeon while being on the southbound lane on the Gyeongbu highway as she was headed towards doing charity work.
According to SM, “Sooyoung was on her way in doing charity work by helping those who are blind” and “Because the opposing driver had carelessly crossed into her lane, Sooyoung had collided with the other car, causing the accident to occur.”
Continuing on from this, they said, “Sooyoung fractured her sacrum vertebrae and she will be focusing on receiving treatment in order to recover quickly. Sooyoung will not be attending the schedules that were already fixed.”
Following the word of SM, Sooyoung will not be able to attend "SM TOWN LIVE Tokyo Dome" which will be held on September 2nd, as well as the upcoming Taiwan concert for SNSD due to her injury.
As of right now, Sooyoung is currently in the hospital receiving treatment and recovering.

C-JeS entertainment, JYJ's agency, has confirmed the upcoming release of a short teaser of their music video for "In Heaven".
According to a statement on the band's official site, a one-minute teaser for "In Heaven" will be released on September 5 at midnight. The full version of the music video will be released at a later date. The release of this teaser signals the beginning of JYJ's album promotions, but as of the moment no further information has been released.
"In Heaven", composed by Kim Jaejoong, was first revealed during JYJ's recent 2011 world tour, which brought the band around Asia, and to select dates in the US. They are planning to release a new, full-length album by this year, featuring "In Heaven", "Get Out", and other self-composed songs, some of which were also revealed during the trio's world tour.

Big Bang's T.O.P. recently announced that he will be featuring in Gummy's PV for her upcoming advancement into Japan.
On September 1, T.O.P. wrote on his me2day, "Filming TITLE P/V for my senior Gummy's Japanese debut. I'm working with director Lee Jae Han again after the movie, 'Into The Gunfire'. Please look forward to it."
(For those who are unaware, PVs are 'Promotional Videos' that are specially created for new songs or rookie artists as a way to promote their sales and increase their popularity.)
The photo shows T.O.P. donning a new, gray/brown messy hairstyle while wearing a clean cut jacket over a plain gray T-shirt. The most unusual part of this picture, however, is the bird standing on his shoulder and T.O.P. casually posing as if it's just another ordinary day outside.

Set for release this month, the covers for all three versions of DBSK's upcoming Japanese album, "TONE," have been revealed via their official website.
The bright, neon colors of the covers represent the meaning of the title "TONE," which is associated with tones of both music and color. The duo wished to produce an album that displays "a variety of images and colors depending on the listeners." Each of the three colors represent different feelings - blue for "static." red for "passionate," and yellow for "dynamic," and feature the duo with various expressions.
Yunho has also recently stated in an interview with SANSPO.com that "we challenged various types of music that suit for Tohoshinki, from grand ballads to rock and rap," again reflecting the different faces of the album. Fans can now also preview several tracks from the album on the band's official website.
Set for release on September 28, "TONE" is DBSK's first Japanese studio album since 2009's "The Secret Code," and their first since activities in Japan were suspended last year. To promote the album, a nationwide arena tour will also be held ealy next year, with a total of 14 dates in 9 different cities in Japan.

After debuting a little over eight years ago, baby-faced actress Han Ji Min recently decided to move to another agency. She signed a long term contract with AM Entertainment, well-known for famous faces such as Jang Dong Gun and Shin Min Ah.
A representative from AM Entertainment stated on September 1, "In the future, we hope to create movies and dramas with Han Ji Min that will showcase her multi-faceted acting style. We will use her talents to their fullest."
The actress decided to leave Aba Entertainment, where she was a famous figure. Her recent one year contract ended, and she decided to switch agencies soon after.
Han Ji Min will appear on TV screens all over Korea when her drama "Padam-padam" airs on December 1

Recently, SHINee became the model of a Japanese clothing brand.
According to the Japanese media, a famous Japanese casual clothing brand called, "Right-on," chose
SHINee to become their model for the fall season. Consequently, on August 31, SHINee attended a
huge ceremony related to advertisements that took place in Shibuya, Tokyo.
During the ceremony, SHINee's Key jokingly told his members, "Let's meet up in front of the huge SHINee poster board and pose." SHINee's Minho later told the reporters that he wants to win the "Best Jeanist Award."

High Kick 3 (MBC), an upcoming sitcom series that is to join the High Kick series, directed by Kim Beung Wook, finished their poster shoot. Unlike the previous poster concepts , that is to be seen as to be enthusiastic and bright, ironically this poster is seems more like an idol's fashion magazine photoshoot. It is to be airing the very first episode of High Kick 3 on September 19, Monday to Friday at 19:45 (KST) . The full series will be consisted of 120 episode along with a great cast, which is consisted of Ahn Ne Sang, Yoon Yoo Seon, Yoon Kye San, Lee Jong Seok, Krystal, Seo Ji Seok and more... They have commenced filming its first scenes in New Zealand at August 10.
