Hel finished off her stretching by working her wings as well, and after that she hopped away from the reaper. The valkyrie spun on her heel, and immediately moved into a semi-crouch position with her hands out and directed towards Shun. She paused for a moment, staring the grim reaper down with a grin still. “I hope you’re ready, friend!” Was the only thing Hel called out before she lunged at the boil.
Right now, it appeared that Hel was trying to tackle him.

Once he was finished, Shun let out a breath and got into stance. His expression didn't change at all as he stared down the Valkyrie girl. Narrowing his eyes, he saw her charging at him. Quickly, he shifted to the side before striking out towards her back to try and knock her off balance somewhat.

Hel wasn’t surprised that Shun was able to react and dodge so quickly. In fact, she would have been disappointed if he hadn’t. The valkyrie was already anticipating an attack, but to her back? No, that was a big no-no! Almost anywhere else but her back! Couldn’t risk any damage to her wings, after all!
Trying to leap up into the air wasn’t an option, not with Shun swinging down at her rather quickly, so the reaper twisted her body so that she was facing the strike, and brought up her arms to block the attack. She’d probably land on the ground on her back, but it was better that way!

His opponent here had fairly good reflexes from what he could tell, seeing how she had been able to twist around to block his attack. Good. It seemed that Shun had a pretty worthy foe on his hands here then.
The Reaper felt that he should try and keep on the pressure, in an attempt to prevent her from going too much into the offensive. So as she fell, or perhaps once she landed, his other fist struck out towards her.

Hel grinned as she felt him strike the block of her arms, and tucked her wings tightly against her back as she hit the ground. No time to take it easy though, as she quickly noted that the reaper was coming in fast for another strike. In a bit of a desperate effort, Hel brought up a steel plated heel to try and block the next strike.
Whether that worked or not, she then attempted to push Shun back with her arms, and rolled onto her feet. Once she was standing, the valkyrie tried to go on the offensive, and spun, delivering a round house kick to the reaper.

As his strike was knocked aside again, Shun was about to follow up with another. However, he soon found himself being pushed back by Hel's foot. Stepping so that he wouldn't lose his balance, he narrowed his eyes as he saw her taking a more offensive stance.
Tensing up a little, he moved his arm down to block her kick. She had a fair bit of power in there. He could tell that much. Then, shifting closer, he tried to grab onto her shoulder as he brought up his knee, aiming to get her in the torso.

Aww, he blocked her kick!
The valkyrie’s boot came down as Shun blocked it, and her eyes narrowed as he grabbed her shoulder and pulled her in for a knee to the torso. While she probably should have tried to block this, the reaper decided to try and be stubborn. She’d tough it out, and sacrifice a hit to try and land one of her own! Hel let out a soft grunt as Shun’s knee nailed her right in the stomach.
Being so close to him now, the ghoul didn’t waste anytime in balling up her fist and returning the favor, aiming to sock the reaper right in the side of his torso.

There was really only one way for Shun to dodge that attack. However, he couldn't quite react in time to do such a thing and he ended up taking Hel's fist right to his side. Letting out a grunt, he gritted his teeth together as he felt a spurt of pain where he got hit. For now, he didn't move away just yet, deciding to try and take the moment land an extra blow. Letting go of her shoulder with his left hand, he twisted to the side while trying to essentially slam his elbow into the side of her head.

Hel gave a quick grin as she felt her first connect with Shun’s side, reveling in the feeling of the solid connection.
There wasn’t enough time to enjoy that small victory though. While the reaper was daring enough to take a blow to the stomach purposely, she had enough sense to not do the same with her head. Hel immediately dropped to the ground, hoping she dodged it in time, as a leg swept out to try and knock the reaper off balance.

Feeling his attack hit nothing but the air, Shun glanced down to see that Hel had ducked away from the blow. Narrowing his eyes, he started to try and kick her back. Just as he began to move, he noticed her own leg shooting out for a leg sweep. By that time it was too late and his feet were taken out from under him.
Hitting the ground with an audible thud, he let out a grunt, feeling momentarily dazed from the impact of the fall.

Hel wouldn’t have been surprised if Shun had managed to dodge her leg sweep, so she was surprised when she managed to knock him off of his feet. Hel grinned once more as Shun landed on the ground, and with a nice sound to boot. The valkyrie then lunged at him, looking to tackle him and hopefully pin him to the ground.
“Ready to give in, friend?” Hel taunted.

Shaking his head to himself to get rid of the dazed feeling he had, Shun opened his eyes and saw Hel coming after him. Cursing under his breath, he started to roll to the side but the Valkarie managed to catch him to some extent.
Letting out a grunt, he twisted his body on the ground and attempted to either push or kick her off of him.

The reaper caught a hold of him briefly, and was about to try and grab more to pin him, until his legs shot up. Her brows furrow as his feet connected, and she released the little hold she had on him as she was pushed a ways. Hel used her wings to ease the toss, skimming across the ground before landing safely a good distance away. She stared at Shun with a narrowed gaze before going back to grinning. “Not bad, friend, not bad at all!” She idly commented. It seemed they were equally matched at the moment, hmm.
Not one to give up though, Hel shot for him again, clasping her hands together and moved them above her head, ready to come down on him like a sledgehammer.

With Hel off of him now, Shun got up, though he remained in a crouched position in the meantime. While she wasn't so bad herself, he didn't make any comments, not feeling much of a need to speak. As she came after him, he ducked down and lunged forth towards her midsection, aiming to basically use her momentum against her and toss her over him.

She wasn’t expecting Shun to lunge at her like that!
The reaper was caught off guard as he managed to get a hold of her, and the next thing she knew she was being tossed. She sailed away from him, and instead of landing on the ground she pumped her wings, and climbed into the air. When all else fails, try, try again, right? Hel then dived for the reaper, her foot outstretched, and like a bird that was hunting, if she happened to miss, she’d climb back into the air again and repeat the action.
