Smiling softly, she jumped down, landing on the dark cement ground. Pushing her paw about to search for anything sharp she noticed it was safe, blinking as her eyes adjusted to the darkness.
"Okay." She called, spotting stairs and an open door, padding up the stairs and peering around the door.

Once Lainy was safely in Pan paused and still held the window open while standing to the side that way he wouldn't be blocking any of the light that she may need. Once she called okay he slipped in and gazed around to find her clear a cross the room and going up the stairs.
A small wave of panic hit him hard in the chest and he practically ran after her that way he could be by her side. Why run and why the panic? Because he didn't want her going any where in this place alone with out him. He wanted to be by her side like she had asked of him. He wouldn't fail her.

Lainy turned her head when she heard scrambles, nearly fleeing until she noted it was Pan. Wagging her tail once she nodded towards him, making way to the stairs. The vixen stopped, spotting a silvery shadow slip past the railings and vanish. Ah, so there was a ghost here.
"If it is a poltergeist even you could hear it." She warned. "Not me, I never can. But I can always see them." She smiled warmly at Pan, nudging his cheek. "You're a brave man, Pan."

"I'd be able to hear a poltergeist? Um...What is a a poltergeist anyways?" Pan asked his voice full of curiosity as they walked up the stairs. When they made it to the door he gently nudged it open for her. "So your not able to hear them? Any idea why? I'm not brave,"

Nodding lightly, she flicked her tail. "Ghosts that focus their time on harassing people who normally can't sense them. Often they over-look my kind. Why harass us? We already know they are there." She looked over at him, smiling softly when he nudged the door open, and slipped inside spotting toys everywhere. Tail wiggling she approached a bear, chewing on its ear briefly.
"I don't know. Samhain said I probably block them out sub-conscientiously. I hate loud noises.... maybe I block them out?" Her ear flicked lightly, nodding. Suddenly, a lamp fell, causing Lainy to squeak and dart under the bed, pressing against the wall and whimpering.

Pan chuckled while he watched her naw on the toy bear's ear like a kit would. It was cute to see. It also made him glad because it showed him that she wasn't scared. "So they are the ones that most tell stories about because they aren't peaceful correct or at least not as peaceful as others ?" He asked determined to understand.
"Perhaps in order for you to hear them we must first make you comfortable with loud sound," He said and was going to say more till she let out a whimper and hid. He glared at the light and stood in front of where she was hiding. He really didn't know what to do but he would try for her.

Lainy peeked out from under the bed to see Pan standing before the bed, eyes wide. "A-Aren't you scared?" She asked softly, looking up at him from where she was. From the corner of her eye she saw a shadowy spirit run by, glaring.
"I think that was a ghost." She grumbled, crawling out from where she was and pressing into him.

Pan stood there in front of her not moving. His eyes were searching the room but he couldn't see anything that could harm them but his hair was standing on end making his hackles rise. Glancing back at her he shook his head no to her question. He wasn't scared cause he didn't see anything to be scared of. "I see," he said and rubbed his head against her's to try and comfort her.

Peeking over from near Pan she suddenly got up. Ghost's weren't scary, not to her. She immediately went into the hallway, headed straight for the room she saw a shadowy figure slip into, and glanced about. Hm? A humans bedroom. Her eyes flicked back and forth, not seeing anything.
BAM!
The door behind her shut, cutting Pan and her off from one another. Startled, Lainy ran to the door, pawing at it. "Pan?!"

Pan smiled at her as she suddenly seem to become braver. It made him chuckle softly at how cute she was. He was happy that she was no longer scared and forgot to keep her behind him. Not that he could if she didn't want to but she had ran after what ever she saw and he than suddenly a door slam and her calling for him.
He could hear the fear in her voice and he ran in the direction she went with a feeling of dread in him.He came to a door and pawed at it calling "Lainy! Lainy you in there?" He asked her and began to claw away and chew on the bottom part of the wood door try to break threw it.

"Pan! Pan!" The frightened vixen turned her head, scanning the room. There wasn't a ghost... so.. Oh no! "Stop worrying about me!" She suddenly yelled, turning around to press her muzzle into the door.
"There's a poltergeist, which means it can probably be seen by you! Do you see anything?"

Pan paused for a second hearing what she said. A poltergeist.... that didn't sound good in fact he was pretty sure they agreed they would leave if one was here. Yeah that sounded right to him. His mind was a little fuzzy on what they had talked about earlier because of the fear he felt for himself and the spotted vixen.
He glanced down the hall and seen something black hunched over on its self staring back at him with to little eyes, Its eyes where a lighter darkness so you could tell that it was eyes. "Um...yeah I see it... its staring back at me sitting at the end of the hall," he told her still unsure of what he could or should do.

"Don't move." She ordered, clawing at the bottom of the door, then spinning in a circle in an angry huff. She wanted out! The little vixen glanced about, spotting the window. Could she die if she leapt from it? Nnnnn. Jerking her head to the side, the vixen snarled.
"If it chases after you, leave the house." She added. "They never hurt me. Just run."

Pan stared back watching the little black creature. It was just watching him. He wasn't sure if he should move or not. But since it was only looking at him, he decided to not move.
"It chases run got it," he said than heard her next comment "I'm not leaving you here no matter what"

"Pan!" She yelped back, clawing at the door. "You can leave me, I'll be fine." She called back, then left the door, poking around. What she found was a hole in the wall, squeezing through into another room, it's door was closed, too. Briefly she glanced about, spotting a broken... broken...
BCR? She approached it, noticing the open hole in the side and cracked ring. She second she drew closer, though, she felt an aura of thick hatred wrap around her, jerking away and free. Was this the poltergeists real body?
