What would one be doing that would make them too busy to hear the birds? Eating? They would have to chomp quite loudly to drown out the natural sounds of the forest. “What other sounds would distract a passersby? I assure you I do not eat so noisily. ” He nodded and climbed up on Northland’s back gingerly and then carefully shifted his weight so he could place his front paws on the tree and reach higher up to get at the peaches.
(>.< I still can't believe it was me who came up some of that idea. *is so blaming you for some of it*)

(( lol i'll take some of the blame thats fine))
"Oh you know things. Every one is different so it could differ from fox to fox. Your quite huh? I'm sure I could get you to be loud." Northland said being even more suggestive and he slowly stood tall so that Raust could reach the peaches easier. He finally decided that this male was utterly clue what he was hinting at. That was fine it made the doing all that much more better.

Nod really knowing what the other male meant by ‘things’ Raust just shrugged a bit. This was a strang fox. Where all ‘normal’ foxes so opaque with their meanings? “How would you get me to be loud?” Raust used his horned to snare a branch and shake it so a number of peaches fell. Not all of them would be ripe, but a number of them would be edible enough.

Northland chuckled as the younger male seemed to catch on. Good he didn't want all of these puns to go to waste. He was glad he had his mask on as peaches rained from the sky. "There are a number of things I could do and if i get to know you better that list will grow shorter cause I will than be able to better tell what would work."

(Sadly no.. Raust isn’t starting to get it... He’s thinking that Northland intends to make him be ‘loud’ while eating. >.<)
“Like what stepping on my tail?” Raust’s little tail twitched and he thought it quite funny. For Northland to do so he’d practically have to be on Raust. Satisfied that a sufficient number of peaches had fallen Raust backed off of Northland the same way he mounted, very carefully. He was not used to eating with others or getting food with others so he wanted things to go well.

(lol thats funny)
"Mmmm I could defiantly do something with your tell."Northland said while eying him. Once the other male got off his back he shook out his fur out of habit. "But I doubt I would step on your tail." He said before pawing at a peach.

(Yes and no.. It's funny, but at the same time I wanna smack Raust in the back of the head and make him realize what's going on here... >.> He'll up up shocked if this keeps up.)
Chuckling Raust had no idea what the other male meant, yet it seemed to be something he should laugh at. The other male had called him friend that made them friends, and friends laughed at each other from time to time. Whether it was funny or not. Raust meandered through the peaches smelling a few before selecting one he wanted to eat.
(he eats like a deer >.<)

(( we'll burst his bubble soon enought))
Norhtland chuckled and laid down with his peach between his paws. He watched Raust rummage threw the peaches looking for one he wanted. It was interesting to say the least watching him. The deer-fox seemed to be a bit picky and eat like a deer.

(Fun fun ^.^)
Munching on a peach Raust’s ears flicked as a bird in the woods started singing. He looked up and saw Northland watching him. “Is something wrong?” He trotted over to where Northland was laying down and looked at the masked fox with some concern.

(( Always is))
"Hmm? Oh no nothing is wrong just lost in my own little world."Northland said while trying to pull of a laugh in hopes that Raust hadn't caught him staring. It was rude and he wasn't staring in a rude way but it was still embarrassing if you got caught doing so.

Raust blinked and accepted Northland’s words with a nod of his head before continuing to graze. He had knocked down far more peaches than he thought it did. He sighed thinking what I pity it was that so many would be doomed to rot unless small animals came and ate them too.

Once North was done with a peach he pawed another one toward himself and began to munch on it. Than stands up and stretches. "So what are you thinking about? What does a deer-fox do?" he asked in wonder.

“I am thinking about the natural decay of the vegetation and the way it gets reused by the forest.” Raust looked down at a peach by his paw and nudged it. “I shook to many down, most of these will end up rotting.” He looked at Northland and blinked. “I … get up eat, walk, nap, eat, and speak to others when they come.. Am I supposed to do something?”

"Well we could spread them around so other can find them easier."Northland suggested while starting to gather up some of the peaches. "Well no I guess not but you never know who does what."

The deerfox greeted the other male’s suggestion with a rare smile. He found it comforting that the other male would consider his words and help offer up a solution. Raust didn’t know much about other foxes but if Northland was an example what the other foxes were like then perhaps he should travel more to meet some of them.
