As she hopped down she wondered if she could turn sand into glass... wouldn't that be cool? Ish? As she hopped down she eventually touched sand, tail flicking back and forth before turning. Ratri was following. Smiling briefly, she waited for him, eyes flicking to the water. Now, she was nervous. What could the water do to her? Once more folding on her tough personality she made a soft "tch" sound and flipped a shell over.
"Like water can hurt me." She decided to tell herself, turning to the man leaping from the rocks. "Watch it, there's a rock with a cracked edge coming your way." She called out before facing the water once more.

Having been focusing every bit of his attention on the descent, the sound of Feuer's voice startled him. Before he could register what she said, his paw found the cracked edge she had warned him about. He gave a small yelp before falling face first into the sand below. He leapt up, hoping she hadn't seen this embarrassing stumble. Wagging his tail, he followed after Feuer towards the water's edge.
"So...are you ready to take a plunge?" She seemed relatively nervous, but he couldn't really blame the flame covered female. Neither of them really knew what would happen.

Frowning briefly, the vixen laughed when he fell only when she made sure he was safe. Watching the male get up as if nothing happened she shook her head, flames following her movement. Hm. He was such a strange boy, he didn't judge her and had even escorted her out of the mountains...
Her ears flicked back, taking a reluctant step towards the water. She didn't know what to expect. It could hurt you know... it could hurt her badly. Yet she had always wondered... Her eyes flicked to the male briefly, knowing he couldn't see it, and she moved closer.
"If I die, bury me somewhere nice." She joked.

Although Ratri new Feuer was joking, he couldn't help but be a little more nervous at her mention of death. Really, he doubted anything severely bad would happen, but still....
"I promise, I'll find the most beautiful tree I can for you" he said, before adding "Though I really doubt we'll be needing to worry about that. Now then, shall we do this together? One.....two...."

"Three."
With this, the fire vixen slipped into the water. The first sound she heard was a loud hissing, fright hammering into her heart. Trying to escape she stopped when all she saw was steam blurring her vision, ears flicking back. It didn't hurt, but it was frightening. Suddenly she felt a strange sensation, something she had never felt before and later would realize was cold. Panic and terror filled her eyes as she felt water, cold, and air, things she had never felt her entire life.
"Ratri!" Now she turned to find him, to find the one person she depended on at this right moment. When she turned she saw a flicker of white and stopped, flicking her tail out to look.
It was pure white, pure white fur. Emerald green eyes blinked in shock as she circled herself, lips parting in a gasp. This was...her?

Ratri splashed in a moment after Feuer, loving the feel of the water on his legs before the loud hissing drew his attention. He turned to where Feuer had been, but all he could see was clouds of steam, hiding the vixen from view. When she called his name, he spun to where her voice had come from, a good three feet towards his right. The steam had billowed to the shoreline, confusing him. He was about to splay his way over when he stopped in shock.
Feuer's flames had vanished! For the first time, he could see her fur, glistening whiter than snow. It shimmered in the residual steam, making her seem ethereal. She had vibrant green eyes like emeralds, gleaming with shock and fear.
Ratri shook his head to clear his thoughts and bounded the short distance to his newest friend. "Feuer! Please tell me you're alright!" Without even thinking, he touched his nose to hers, trying to calm her down.

She didn't notice him staring, way to busy flicking her tail side to side and watching the bright fur. She almost didn't hear him moving, ears flicking when he came closer and his nose touched hers. Her eyes widened, flashing fear, confusion, then defiance.
"Course I am." She mumbled back, seemingly suggesting that he should forget when she cried out in fear to him. Looking down at herself she circled, looking up at Ratri, and flicked her ears back.
"Did I break myself?"

Ratri's ears drooped a bit when Feuer jumped back, but he smiled at her still fiery attitude. It seemed no amount of water would be able to douse those flames. He watched her examine herself, now confident that she was fine.
"No, you're definitely not broken....I wonder if your flames will come back once you're dry?" He mused openly. With a shrug, he flicked some water towards her. "In the meanwhile, why not have some fun for a change?" With a laugh and a cocky smile, he sent a bigger splash in her direction before bounding away through the shallow water.

Blinking when water hit her, she was still in shock. Staring at him, the emerald eyed vixen took a second, then suddenly she scowled at him, using her tail to flick water right at his face.
"Hmpf, taking advantage of me not knowing how to swim." She mocked, padding over to him and nipping his ear. Climbing onto his shoulders, the vixen scowled at him.
"Now try and hit me with water."

Ratri sputtered when the water hit him in the face. He shook his head while laughing, leaving himself wide open for Feuer's ear n** and impromptu piggyback. He glanced up at her, giving her a scheming smirk. "Oh, getting you wet up there shouldn't be too hard".
He trotted towards the shore before turning around and wiggling his butt, breaking into a full on sprint before bucking, trying to fling Feuer off his back into the still shallow water.

When she was flung she hit the water on her back, letting out a low whine when pain shot up her back. Squirming so she was on all fours, the vixen eyed him and then burst out after him, leaping at him and clamping her teeth around his neck lightly, tugging him into the water and letting him go.
"Ha." Leaping away before he could touch her, she slipped down against the water and then under, hiding from him.
