Late. The ghoul was late, yes, but she had finally found her way to the club room. She wouldn't admit to getting lost, no, she was busy exploring the school and simply took a detour. Still, the frost demon had eventually found her way around and wound up at the designated meeting place, to realise that the people had already gathered in there. Sighing, she rubbed her temple absent-mindedly as she turned to stare at the notice pasted onto the wall beside the door to room 107. You need to keep track of my time, seriously she chided herself. Her eyes scanned over the notice posted – so everyone had been accepted – which would probably mean that she'd be meeting a group of really talented musicians. That aside, Roch's handwriting intrigued the ghoul deeply, she seemed to appreciate the squiggly character of the letters, something she would probably be unable to emulate with a fountain pen. Mental note no. 2: go stationery shopping.
Her guilt was surmounting now that she had to make her entrance. As discreetly as possible she told herself, peeking her head in first. It looked like everyone was occupied in one way or another, so she entered the room. Looking around at the small crowd gathered, she realised that she didn't recognise anyone in there save for the purple haired reaper himself whom she had met earlier. Then again, why would she have expected to recognise anyone, being new in school. It was only then did she notice the group of three who were getting up from the floor. His wings had grown a little bigger since she had last met him, but the ghoul was sure that the gryphon boil was indeed, Ren. Beside him was a light-haired ghoul she did not know and the other boil -
“Moure?” she exclaimed. Edel was surprised – pleasantly surprised to see the patchwork boil again.

Roch rolled onto his stomach and shoved himself up in a pushup before getting to his feet, brushing himself off, and dropping down on his beanbag again, as if nothing had happened and his ribs didn't hurt. "Edel, glad you could make it," he added absently, summoning his guitar again. Rikki wasn't there yet, but everyone else was, right?
At least off the top of his head, he figured so. Possibly he was missing someone, but oh well. He should probably let them chat, but this was a meeting, and he really did have some questions to ask. He reached down, grabbing the sheet of paper he'd placed on the table and looking it over for a long moment. Riff landed on his head again, messing up his hair to make herself comfortable once more.
"We'll deal with the host thing when we have our first party," he added absently. "If the guys coming don't mind being schmoozed I don't see why it should matter. Less work for us."
"Now for the first question... I wasn't here for the battle of the bands, which really sucks, but if they ever do have another one, we're going to need a band. Possibly two. How do you guys think we should split us up?"

So so tired. Nyyrikki just wanted to curl up and take a nap. A really long nap. And he didn't want to wake up until the sun was on it's departure from the sky. He'd been up playing video games all night and was not pleased to be awake, or at least not pleased to be awake and actively moving around.
As he padded into the room he rubbed his eye and yawned, arriving just in time to hear Roch begin a discussion about bands. "Dude, I'm in your band," he demanded in a mumble as he passed. With the few seconds he had been in the room, he'd already crossed the room and curled up in a beanbag chair, watching everyone through squinted eyes. Beanbag chair was comfy, yes it was.

Danny stuck out her tongue at Shun and then said, "But you're here aren't you? You should just join! It'll be lots and lots of fun!!" She smiled and bounced up and down (whilst laying down in a beanbag, just amazing) like it was the freaking 31st of October (which in fact, it was). Danny glanced around to make sure nothing fun was happening without her, and she noticed Ren pull two more to the ground. Hee hee. This was going to be such a fun club.
Then Edel walked in.

She may have tried to slip in quietly, but Danny zeroed in on her immediately. Danny's face switched from bubbly happy to downright pissed in two seconds flat. Roch was gretting her in a friendly manner? What the hell? Why would anyone do that? She emitted cold. Danny hissed, "Get out. I don't know who you are, but get out." Though she may have sounded intimidating her face just looked like a little scareling who just got their eye scream taken away. Roch may have just tried to ask a question to the group, but Danny didn't hear at all.

Damien just responded back in a huff at the comment of being a first year. He didn't find anything wrong with that, they were all one at one moment in time. he was merely joking about the B.O. name but quickly decided to keep the title for the half beast, just to annoy him further, or call him tiny seam.
Yeah Tiny seam seemed like a proper name for Bul too.
his attention was quickly diverted as the pileup of Ren on Danny on Roch ensued, like some kind of dogpile. He quickly turned away from it to save face, if Danny wanted to get sandwiched between two boils, she can do so while he turned a blind eye to it. "Hi Danny, your late Vice prez." he pointed out quietly. It was far too early in the day to get singed by her flames.
He would however, relish his time in making fun of Ren at any time of day. "Oi Ren, the floors not exactly the best place to take a nap." he barked out to the boil that may have been seeing stars.
Ross didn't waste no time making plans for the club, which the hellhound had no problem with, all the various types of talent they had here, it was quite clear that we needed to proceed in some sort of clear direction. "Well my talents are only good for like, an interlude or maybe even the opening few measure before the main band." he noted off, "Or Nyyri and I could do a couple of drum battles on stage." he also included as an idea, as soon as the boil in question made his way into the room.
The utter sense of shock that went through Damien's mind at the positively cold demeanor that Danny suddenly started to emit, was startling. "Whoa whoa, no need to be hostile Danny, make music, not war." he cried out from the seats, hoping to diffuse the situation, or at least delay it long enough for him to take cover somewhere before the flames and frost started to fly.

Roch jerked, looking at Danny blankly for a long moment. "What happened to you're nice, I'm nice, everybody's nice?" he asked her quietly. "Ignore her, she's not feeling good," he told Edel, giving Danny a dark look of warning to keep her mouth shut. "Besides, if you're making me let Moure come, you damn well better let Edel come as well," he leaned over to whisper harshly.
"So anyway, yeah, Rikki, we're discussing if there's ever a battle of the bands. We might have to share some instruments for two bands, but we have the basis. We actually need one more full drummer and another bass--or I can play in both bands, and one more singer."
He looked at the others, the ones that didn't quite fit traditional band set up. "Or we can see if we can't put together something massive." Then he pointed at Demi. "And don't think you're gonna get off that lightly, dawg, I can use you for a lot of guitar solos."

Oh dear, it seemed as if her attempt to help Ren up backfired. Instead, she was the one who needed the hand up after. Nevertheless, after offering Ren a sheepish grin, she nodded enthusiastically at the gryphon's question. "Yes! Vaith was very gentlemanly, and I met a lot of new people at prom--" She began to gesture to a few of the room's occupants but paused, slowly turning back to the boil and blinking slowly. "...V-vaithy-poo?"
After a bit of silent, she looked as if she were about to comment--and giggle--at the nickname when Danny suddenly squealed Shun's name. Caught off guard, the Baku winced, turning around to regard the flame demoness and the reaper nervously. Shun certainly didn't seem too pleased, that was for certain.
Choosing to use Roch's question as a distraction, the ghoul wrung her hands together anxiously as she considered her answer. Battle of the Bands? She had heard some of the students talking about it before. It sounded like a lot of fun, but...
"A...a team for a band battle? I'm not sure that my flute is suited for something like that, unless I manage to learn a new instrument by then." Or she could sing, but singing in front of a group was even more nerve-wracking than simply playing her flute. Xiu wasn't sure that she could do such a thing without passing out on stage.

Moure was noticing Shun's returned nod, when his and Xiu's (as her name apparently was) attempt at helping resulted in them being pulled down instead. The Runner then accepted the help from Ren back up with a bit of a grin at the irony of the situation. "Don't worry about it, Ren. You alright?" He had noticed that the gryphon had hit the floor twice today, after all.
As the gryphon slung an arm across them and moved the two over to some chairs, Moure listened to the other boil's questions. He gave a grin and a nod. "It has been a while. I haven't seen you since Open House." he gave another nod. "Indeed I have. Danny's my usual opponent, actually. Are you still getting the Scario Kart Club off the ground? I've been meaning to ask you about joining, since I'm, you know, actually a official student and all now."
Moure heard someone say his name, and recognized the voice with a tad of surprise. He looked over immediately. It was Edel! The frost demoness from the Scario Kart Booth. "Edel!" He grinned, offering her a wave and gesturing for her to come sit down on a chair. "Are you official now?" He gave her a happy nod and said, "It's great to see you again, in any case. You still up for learning how to play Scario Kart?" Moure was actually looking forward to that. Edel was the first person he'd met at the Open House, and they'd talked about such an event before after all.
And then it seemed Danny had started to have a melt down at the sight of the frost demon. Moure looked between the two ghouls, realizing he should probably try to help diffuse the situation. It seemed Damien had the same thought. Moure raised a hand in a slightly defensive gesture, looking at Danny. "No need for hostilities..." He trailed off though, as it seemed Roch had the calming of Danny covered. That in mind, Moure looke back at Edel. "Don't worry, it's alright. She's been under the weather recently, that's all." Hopefully hearing it from both Roch and Moure would convince Edel she was safe here and all.

Edel grinned at Moure and was just about to head over to where he was but the sudden outburst from an orange-haired ghoul caught her attention and stopped her from moving.
"Get out. I don't know who you are, but get out."
Shocked? Yes, the frost demon was a little startled to hear that she was unwelcome here and promptly turned to face the ghoul that expressed her displeasure. It was then that Edel noticed the other demon's fire-tipped tail, and something just ticked in the ghoul. Her gaze sharpened as she returned the stare, but the ghoul remained silent. A rather cold greeting, coming from a flame demon If she had the cheek she would have said it, but considering how she was late on top of being new to the school, she kept her rather snarky remark to herself. Then realising she was being ungracious and uncivil – she was better than that, she broke the gaze and turned to Roch to apologize. “Forgive me for being late, I hope I've not interrupted anything important.”
With Roch dealing with the flame demon (who apparently was under the weather, maybe that was why she was unkind to the cold.....), Edel decided to brush off the incident with a smile and head to where Moure was instead. “Yes, earlier this week actually” she replied with a grin, “and yes! I'd be up for that as promised....” she trailed off a little before continuing sheepishly, “I'm really sorry I didn't return to the Scario Kart booth at Open House.” Her gaze shifted to Ren for a moment – he too was there at the booth, being the captain of the club himself, and the ghoul gave him a smile. “I don't suppose you'd let someone as inexperienced as me into the club, but I must say I really enjoyed myself at the Open House.”
Realising that it might have been a little improper to chatter so much about another club no less, Edel refocused her attention to Roch who was discussing about the Battle of the Bands. Though the classically trained ghoul didn't know too much about pop music and the likes of what bands play, she would be happy to offer to play the violin or piano if there was ever a need.

People were piling into the room left and right making Mitsu shift nervously. To afraid to move her mask at the moment Mitsu just held onto her spookie while looking from person to person. She made a small noise of concern when she saw Xiu and Moure go down with Ren but it seemed the problem was quickly solved as Ren got up with both of them in tow.
Danny's sudden squeal made the lupine's ears drop back trying to muffle the noise. Why was she screaming Shun's name? Looking toward the reaper in question he didn't seem to appreciate the gesture. At least the conversation continued on and while Mitsu's question really hadn't been answered Roch was touching on another...interesting fact. Battle of the bands?
The very thought made Mitsu shrink back. She had...just wanted to play not really battle. like the baku she really wondered if she could do such a thing. "I'm not really sure." Mitsu admitted quietly in reply to Roch's question.

Damien was started by the sudden attention he was getting from the guitarist reaper, and tilted his head in clear confusion by what the boil was trying to say.
And also, a bit worried about what he meant.
"Uh.... a percussionist, helping with a guitar solo? I don't get it." he said in finality before slumping back down next to Xiu, and possibly hiding behind her from Roch and his possibly evil intentions.
He was not going to be a living guitar stand!

While the band members came in to talk about their future, Calder was just coming in, late. Later than late. Then again, he had been last for the rehearsals and had TRIED to be on time to show that this wasn't a common thing. He didn't predict that he would fall asleep on Barth's couch. Damn that couch. It had it in for him. How could he resist it's fluffy cushions? HOW?!!!
Of course he didn't think anyone who had not experienced the wonder that was Barth's furniture to understand and came in with his saddle bag strapped across his chest, the bagpipes deflated and hidden aside from the ebony black pipes sticking out the back.
Ears back with guilt, Calder clip-clopped in slowly, trying his best to just...slip in. The bad thing was that while his hooves could be stealthy on soft ground and riverbeds, the hooves were lard on tiles and floorboards. He never stood a chance.

Rather than responding, Shun just stared hard at the Flame demon until she was distracted by the presence of another. Well good. That meant she wasn't pestering him. However, he couldn't help but overhear what she said. Way to make a welcoming atmosphere.
With a light scoff, he just shifted his attention away and continued to eat his snack. A few of the others were talking about a battle of the bands type thing but that had little to do with him so he paid little heed to the discussion.
He also didn't glance towards the door again until he heard what sounded like a pair of hooves against the floor. When he looked, he saw the Kelpie he had seen during the Festival carrying... a bag pipe? The Reaper raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything on the matter. He had no place to judge anything as far as instruments went, especially since he wasn't exactly a member of the club.

The suddenly flip in the flame demoness' demeanor terrified Xiu, to say the least. Why had she suddenly gone from squealing to coldly addressing the new arrival? While the Baku was glad that the squealing had stopped, she couldn't help but cast a small, concerned look towards Edel. She seemed like a nice enough ghoul? Raising her hand, she directed a shy wave towards her.
Hearing Mitsu's answer to Roch, she reached out to give her friend a light pat on the shoulder. "T-that makes both of us then," She murmured, smiling weakly. She really wasn't the bold or competitive type, not to mention that she was sure she would get a severe case of stage fright. The idea of suddenly freezing in front of the whole school made Xiu cringe. How embarrassing that would be!
Noting that Shun was as silent as ever, she gave a little wave in an attempt to catch his attention. "Um, aniki, why don't you have more spookies?" She motioned towards the plate that Mitsu had grabbed earlier, before perking up when Demi suddenly slumped down beside her. Taking in his expression, she curiously glanced between him and Roch, tilting her head to the side. Hmm?
After another moment of puzzled staring, she turned to Roch and said only three words: "Be nice, okay?" Considering what she had seen of the reaper, and her personal opinion of him, Xiu didn't think that he was the type to do anything but be nice (or maybe that was her naivety speaking). Still, she decided to remind him just in case. He had suggested feeding Demi and Danny to man-eating plants once before, granted that he had been joking. Probably.
Hopefully.

"I'm just going to need a bit of a beat," Roch replied. "A drummer can turn a guitar solo into something really awesome, man, I thought I'd--" Then he stopped, staring blankly at the hooved boy with pipes coming out of... somewhere. "Um, I don't know if anyone told you, but auditions are closed for now--" Then he shrugged it off, since Xiu had told him to be nice.
"Oh, whatever. Okay, so Mitsu, you and Xiu probably aren't feeling the battle thing, right? I ain't gonna make you do it, but I do want everyone to think about who they'll work best with before the band thing comes up. So that brings us to the second question. Would anyone be interested in a little game?"
