Tafari felt his face heat up as the little male spoke. What kind of mother was that? His mismatched eyes dropped to the ground, not really knowing what to say. How could a mother do something like that? How could someone who was supposed to love and protect their cub do something so horrible? Tafari's awkwardness to what Harabu said quickly melted away, being replaced by disgust.
"Your mother," he started softly, still staring down at the ground, "She's not here... in the pride, is she?" If she was, he would have to go have a word with Asi about that. Well... Maybe his mother... and then she could go tell Asi about it...
Tafari's cheeks flushed again, realizing they were talking much too loud and at least one of the female cubs already heard what they were saying. How embarrassing...

She cocked her head, watching the two males with an odd look. Were males supposed to be that close to each other? She didn't know males were like that! Hm... Anyway...
"Um... Tafari...?" she whispered, making sure her eyes stayed on the ground. "I... Tell your friend I'm sorry for... for pouncing him. I don't know why I feel guilty, but... yeah. And... I'm... I'm gonna go now..."
She just couldn't take the tension, the pressure, any longer. She hated feeling uncomfortable and unwanted. Deciding that going away would be better for her and the others, she slinked away just as the sun set.

Harabu shook his head, no she wasn't here, "dey afta me. No 'ere 'et!" He smiled a little and listened to the females words, sorry? they weren't sorry, they wanted to hurt him, all females apart from ari, because she was Asi's mate but then his daughter hated him. He would just sulk, that sounded good.
He turned and ran off to find somewhere away from all those females where he could curl up and sulk, maybe he would find Asi later. Asi was his only father figure and he loved Asi like a son would his father.

Suddenly, fatuge fell over Jinamizi. She yawned, her mouth opeaning wide. Her small white canines shined lightly in the setting sunlight. Her eyes slowly closed, and she laied down in the soft grass just a few yards away from the males. She lie her head on her black paws, and sighed heavly.
