boconnotto miss evelyn Don't wear skater sneakers with your dresses.
It look odd.
...I did that a couple times before I actually owned a good pair of dress shoes... XD
What happens: "Are those shoes part of the style?" "...No. DDDD:" I sometimes wear bike/track shoes with my skirts. It's not so bad, though, since I have legwarmers and stockings that make it all sporty and such. I really need to mess with that Sporty Loli idea I had a while back. XD
I have the perfect skirt and top, now.
Yes, legwarmers and stockings would help. x3
The Sporty Loli idea was awesome. We should start coming up with other loli variations like that. Beach Loli... Rocker/Concert Loli... Hmmm... XD

The Sporty Loli idea was awesome. We should start coming up with other loli variations like that. Beach Loli... Rocker/Concert Loli... Hmmm... XD Well, for the Sporty Loli, I have white tennis shoes, white leg warmers, red thigh high socks and red fishnet stockings for underneath, a white, sheer polo to wear over a lace camisol and a plaid, pleated mini skirt. I need to get a petticoat to wear under that, though, I think, or else I'll look too much like a slutty schoolgirl.
All I need to do is figure out a way to come up with a headdress that doesn't look too girlie to be sporty.

Man... my father is all against my love for lolita, and all these ideas seem so cute but I can't do any of them!
The polo on the sporty-loli could be distinguished from the slutty schoolgirl look is you pehaps got one with black stripes or something to offset it.
Hmmmm another loli-dont:
Pastel colors and cyber-loli neon greens and such. To some people this looks cute, but when I see flourescent bright colors and muted colors I feel a gag reflex being hit.

A sports headband? xd I'm just kidding. really... that would look scary. rofl I guess just the typical headresses that lolitas wear, but without any lace. I think ribbons might work. I'd have to see a picture of the outfit to wonder if it looks right. Your lolita outfits always look cool, i must add. whee heart

Maybe I can make a simple one out of those to match the skirt and top. Hmmm. Especially would work well if I could find a simple, black petticoat to poof out the skirt.
And thanks. Even though I always feel cracked out like crazy. XD;;

i hate it when, and americans have this problem more than anywhere else, when something elegant and "goth" is paired with like a studded collar or a chain necklace and stuff off that like. yes they are all "goth" but the subs do not match! elegant goth and chains rareley mix and if your american i just suggest you dont even try the combo!

Maybe lace? ^_^ I think in some sense chains can be elegant, maybe thin chains. But nothing really thick and OUT THERE @_@ I understand what you mean though. I hate when things are called goth, and are sooo tacky. gonk Like with threads hanging out and stuff. That's not goth, That's just a lazy sewer

I rarely ever take off my collar. It's a little joke I have with my roommates, and so I'm reluctant to remove it without a good reason. It isn't, however, studded. It's just a simple, single strap and buckle with a bell and heart-shaped charm dangling off of it. More cute than "goth", I'd say, and it has sentimental value besides.

My biggest Loli pet-peeves are: Having too much etiquette - of course Loli fashion is kind of a revival of the Victorian Era, but please keep it only to the clothes! Acting like a child is quite annoying too xd And... this hat... I HATE this hat! xd cloudyhead i hate it when, and americans have this problem more than anywhere else, when something elegant and "goth" is paired with like a studded collar or a chain necklace and stuff off that like. yes they are all "goth" but the subs do not match! elegant goth and chains rareley mix and if your american i just suggest you dont even try the combo! Hmm, it's not that these things don't match at all - but I agree with you, most people don't know how to combine them tastefully... Although it's possible - In fact, I really like when people know how to match antagonical elements in clothing 3nodding

I'm not sure if i'd like something on me jingling at every possble movement. gonk

I HATE this hat! xd Well the hat WAS from the Victorian Era, but i'm sure with every fashion, there are fashionably weird things stuck in it. To some outfits I think the bonnet looks nice. Other times I must say, it looks like they are a mini auditorium, and the frilly cap is used to amplify sounds. sweatdrop

PsychodelicPenguin Oh yes, I see it in your signature picture. It sounds cute, but doesnt the bell get annoying sometimes? I'm not sure if i'd like something on me jingling at every possble movement. gonk It actually only jingles if I jump up and down or run pretty hard. ^^;
When I'm walking normally, it doesn't make much noise, and even when bending down to grab things or moving around, it stays pretty quiet. It's nothing compared to these little hoop earings I have-- when I wear them and walk outside, they "sing". Because there's so much wind, here, as it goes sweeping through the hoops, they whistle in my ears. That's far more annoying to me than an occasional jingle. ^_^;
