De smiled feeling very loved and appreciated by Yuna. “I rather liked the idea myself, but if you come with me then I can’t get anything special to surprise you with for when you wake up.” He licked her cheek softly. “I like surprising you.”
(if he leaves and comes back he can bring the biggest surprise of them all.. a changed Hael!)

"Hmm... Well I do like surpises. Fine. But you better be there when I wake up." She giggled from the lick and carefuly stretched out to give De a kiss. She wondered what the surprise could be. But coming from De, anything would be special to her.

De kissed Yuna back. “I most definitely will be there when you wake up my little water vixen.” He stretched his wings and pushed hard on them pulling himself and Yuna through the water backwards. De wondered what he could find for her as a gift. Perhaps some flowers? Or a tender snack?

The water and De was just so relaxing. Yuna let out a yawn and nuzzled into to De's soft, wet fur. Sleepy already... pity. She smiled sheepishly at De. She already knew he would bring her back to shore, and find a nice spot for her. She knew because that was just how he acted. And she loved him even more for that.

Sighing contentedly the phim looked down at his beloved her shy little grin told him all he needed to know. “Come along now. Let’s find you a soft spot to bed down. I can’t have you falling asleep in the water and drowning on me.” De chuckled and swam back toward shore with Yuna. She seemed so fragile in his arms, yet her spirit was brighter than any De knew.

She chuckled to herself. I knew it. "Me?? Drown? Nah... I'm a natural floater." She smiled at De, If he was around she was sure it would be impossible for her to drown. When they reached shore Yuna climbed out of the water and carefully shook off. It didn't help too much cause she was still dripping wet. She sighed and shook again, she really must of have been tired.

“Is that so?” De poked Yuna. He climbed out of the water and shook out. His feathers were soaking wet and his tail looked like a giant mop. He took time to wring out his tail as best he could between his two paws and then looked about for a spot for Yuna. “Do you remember that little spot in the clearing from before? We could lay there if you would like?”

She squirmed and giggled as De poked her. "I do love that spot. Good idea." Yuna, still dripping wet slowly started to head toward the spot. "Are you going to leave right away or you gonna stay here with me for a bit?" She leaned against De and smiled.

“I’ll say by your side until you sleep. Is that alright with you my love?” De followed Yuna quickly and gave her a kiss on the cheek. She was cute even wet. “Then I’ll dart off as fast as I can and find something worth bringing back. Then I’ll wait patiently for you to get up. I promise not to pounce you while you sleep.” De chuckled.

"Alright~ " Yuna found a nice, soft, warm, spot and curled up. When De mentioned not to pounce her while she was sleeping, she eyed him suspiciously. "Are you sure you can resist?" She looked up at him with large, sweet eyes, wrapping her tail around herself.

“Oh it will be very difficult, but I’ll behave myself. I give you my word.” De leaned down and nuzzled her hair softly. She did look incredibly cute just laying her with her tail wrapped about her in such a manner. He lie beside her waiting patiently for her to doze off. He would stand guard over her until she slept just to make her feel safe.

Yuna nuzzled into De. "Be back soon... Ok?" She closed her eyes, the warmth of the sun was too much for her to handle. "Love you." With that she was asleep. Dreaming about when it was De was going to bring back. Even though she didn't care. There was nothing wrong with curiosity.

“Of course I’ll come back soon. I can’t very well stay away from you. I love you too.” De knew Yuna was asleep but he said it anyway. He softly kissed her forehead before turning and heading out. He stopped before he left and took one last long lingering glace at his mate. He would have to find her something special.

With a sneeze Yuna woke up a bit. A butterfly landed on her nose, then flew away. She looked around with her blurred vision. "De...?" She yawned then put her head back down, using her tail as a pillow.

De was off flying and came across the biggest surprise of his life. Unable to deal with things as he would like De came flying back to Yuna without flowers and with a head ache. Things were strange in life and only ever got stranger.
