Shun could see Petro coming down at him. Eyes widening, he twisted his body and he managed to just narrowly avoid getting the elbow to his torso. That would not have felt good, he was sure.
Deciding to take this moment, he scrambled up to try and get onto the horse boy's back, not knowing that this could potentially be a very poor decision. But his intentions were not to ride, but to try and keep the other boy pinned down and possibly get him to submit.

There was pain, sharp and jarring as Petro's elbow failed to hit its intended target and slammed onto the mat. A snarl escaped the horse boil's maw as he tried to shake off the pain. And then he felt it. A weight pressing down on his back, arms dangerously close around his neck. Whether or not it was the reaper's intention to tame or ride him, Petro's instincts kicked in.
Were it not for the fact his skull-pin was still on his wrist, and the Fitness Club's location inhibited a student's real form, Tro would have reverted. All thoughts of this being a friendly spar had left the horse boil's mind, replaced by one single-minded needs: "GET OFF!!!" he roared, arms pushing off of the mat and suddenly rearing to his full height despite bearing the reaper's full weight.

This was not a reaction Shun had expected in the very least. Furthermore, he didn't expect the horse boy to be able to get up so easily despite the fact that he had been pressing down on him. Petro was indeed a rather strong boy for sure. It didn't occur to the Reaper as to why the other boy suddenly became angry, so while he was no longer on the other's back, he went and tried to get his arm around his neck, bringing his other under his arm in order to try and restrict his movement.
He wasn't a grappler so his ability to do this wasn't that great but he was partially trying to bide himself some time to recover as well as to think on how he should try and take down his opponent.

He was seeing red at this point, but despite no longer feeling the weight of a would-be rider on his back an arm was still around his neck! He had still failed to dislodge his would-be rider! If this continued, and he was actually tamed, his Clan would be dishonored! Shame would fall upon his family and his momma, oh his momma would be so disappointed! The horse boil couldn't have that, he just couldn't!
He couldn't get the right leverage to yank himself free from the rider's grip, though his arms were desperately reaching over his shoulders trying to make a grab. Bare feet started charging backwards at an unusually frantic pace, straight for the ring's post.

Struggling to keep a good grip, Shun let out a breath while trying to decide his next plan of action. He was thinking of pushing Petro back so he could start laying on a number of different strikes but before he could do that, the horse monster had started to run backwards, slamming him into the nearest ring post.
Grunting from the impact, the Reaper lost his grip before slumping down in the corner for the time being, stunned from being slammed like that.
So much for that plan.

Free! Yes! Petro managed to keep himself from getting tamed! Damn straight he'd better, he would've been banished from his Clan or disowned or both! Now that he'd solved the first problem, which was getting the rider off him, he now had to make sure they would never dare try that again. Spinning on his heel, Tro wouldn't give his would-be rider the chance to recover as he tried to drive his knee into the downed opponent.
The red glare that had glazed over the tikbalang's eyes should be indication enough to the reaper that he wasn't in his proper state of mind. And that this was no longer a friendly spar.

Shaking his head to try and get rid of the dazed feeling, Shun looked up to see that Tro looked absolutely furious now. He had no chance to try and figure out what was going on there as he felt the other boy's knee ram straight into his gut, knocking the wind right out of his lungs. Curling up involuntarily from the pain, the Reaper suddenly disappeared into smokey wisps only to reappear at the opposite corner.
Gritting his teeth, he shakily pulled himself to his feet with the use of the ropes, but he was going to need a little more time to recover from that massive blow.
Something he had done pissed off Petro royally, and the thing was that Shun didn't really know what that was. It seemed like it had started whenever he had tried to pin the boy down so perhaps it had something to do with that. Placing a hand over the spot where he had been kneed, he breathed heavily while trying to straighten back up. He wasn't too certain if he could take too many more hits like that.
"I don't know what your problem is, but you better calm the ******** down," he glowered.

Tro didn't understand what had happened. After the first blow connected with the satisfying sensation of bone slamming against flesh, the next attempt was met with padded metal. The failed attack elicited a hoarse grunt from the horse boil, but the pain would have to wait when the adrenaline currently surging through him died down. At the moment, the tikbalang was confused by the rider's disappearance.
The sound of a warning growl reached his ears, and Petro rounded on the source. The words failed to register, for all the berserking boil could tell, he was being taunted. Oh, oh, he'd show that rider! He'd show him good! One foot pawed at the mat for a few times, reminiscent of a bull that was about to come charging.

Straightening up some more, Shun let out a breath while staring down the other boy. It seemed that he wasn't about to listen. If this was the case, he might have to try and knock sense back into Petro, though that certainly won't be easy given how strong the other guy was.
"Dammit.. I said calm down," he hissed. That look in the horse boy's eyes was practically murderous. If things kept up like that he figured he might have to summon his daggers just to ward off the guy at this point.

Tro did not have the time to wonder and ponder on how his opponent got to the other side. He did not have time to try to puzzle out what it was being said, only that it sounded like he was being given a command, and that only pissed him off all the more. The red glare of his normally brown eyes intensified, and he lunged forward in an attempt to grab. If successful, the force of the horse boil's shoulder slamming into the other would be enough to bend the would-be rider in half.

It was no use it seemed. Everything he said only seemed to piss off Tro even more. Gritting his teeth, Shun prepared himself and just barely managed to get out of the way in time. However, he nearly toppled over due to the sudden shift in weight and his foot hadn't exactly recovered from that lock he was put in earlier on. Even so, he tried to make due with what he had and launched a jab towards the side of Petro's face as he finished shifting to the side. His movements were a little sluggish compared to when they first started due to the various damages he had taken here and there, but he was trying to not let it slow him down too much.

Tro had not expected that blow to the head, it hit him right smack on the temple. He suddenly halted, body still mid-charge, before he slumped forward onto his knees, a hand rubbing at his face, a confused groan escaping his lips. "How'd I get down here?" he muttered, glancing over his shoulder towards the reaper. "'S this mean this round goes to y'?" he asked, cocking his head and wincing in pain as his brain finally registered all the damage done to his body during his little berserk-blackout.

From the looks of things, that punch did well to snap Petro out of that weird state. Though, Shun didn't relax just yet.
"I wouldn't exactly call this round over, unless you're giving up," he said. As far as he could tell the guy only dropped to his knees. That didn't really constitute as a knock out or anything. If falling was the stipulation for loss, it meant that Shun lost long ago when he was first knocked onto his backside.

Petro snorted, shaking his head clear as he rose to his feet, body shifting into a stance, "Hell naw," he grimaced, still feeling a bit of residual rage over... something that had happened. Wait, he knew what that feeling was, didn't he? Brown eyes narrowed at the reaper, lips suddenly curling to bare teeth, "Gago ka, y' tried to ride me," he chuckled darkly, rubbing at his temple, "My Clan's honor dictates we finish this."
That was the only fair warning Tro gave the other boil before the monster horse charged forward. When he raised his foot to seemingly drive his knee into the reaper, Shun would find it was a feint. Tro's real target was the reaper's ankle he'd caught in a hold earlier.

The first comment had Shun take a step back and resume a fighting stance, keeping his weight off of his right ankle for the most part. However, everything else said afterwards had him pause for a moment.
"Ride?" he repeated while narrowing his eyes. Well he supposed that his attempt to pin could kind of be seen as something like that and he supposed that explained that sort of reaction, but he didn't quite understand completely due to not knowing a whole lot of Petro's culture. In any case, he didn't have time to dwell on it because the horse boy came charging right at him nearly immediately. And he seemed dead serious about finishing this fight.
Shifting back as he saw the foot being raised, the Reaper brought up his hands ready to counter the knee. However, he quickly saw the leg driving down towards his bad ankle. With his weight off of that foot, he was able to move it out of the way, feeling Tro's foot graze against him. If that look in his eyes didn't say that things were really serious now, this attack had spoke volumes. Something like that could have done some major damage to the already weakened joint.
Gritting his teeth, some shadows formed between his fists before daggers appeared in his grasp as he struck out, aiming to slice Petro across the chest.
