Dylan obeyed and followed Yamya down to the waters edge "Gimme bread." he said reaching towards the bag and taking out an handful. He looked back towards his mom who gave him a smile of approval "And here i was thinking this was going to be a great adventure, but he's such a handful sometimes. Dont get me wrong though, i wouldnt swap him for anything in the world"

Dylan laughed as the ducks swam towards the lumps of bread now floating in the water, snapping it up with thier beaks "Duckie fthunny!" he said to Yamya .

'Well I imagine you wouldnt. I wouldnt give Yamya up either...despite her wanting to pull up all my garden plants.' Sayuri rolled her eyes.
Yamya held open the bag for Dylan, and watched as the ducks snapped up the bread with flicks of their beaks. Her pupils dilated a little, her tail swishing as she went still. Sayuri glanced over, noticing Yamya's sudden stillness and cleared her throat, breaking the spell. Yamya shook herself and went back to throwing the bread pieces.
'And that..' Sayuri spoke quietly.
'I have to keep an eye on her around anything small and prey like.'

"I can imagine it must be difficult keeping her from catching stuff.." Ilusen said nodding sagely making sure to keep an eye on her troublesome toddler aswell "Dylan doesnt seem to be showing many character traits just yet, he's a bit bad tempered sometimes, and he loves water, as you could tell, but other than that nothing major just yet. He hasnt started tearing things apart with his teeth" she laughed slightly, hoping he wouldnt actually start doing that.

Dylan watched as Yamya went entirely still wondering what she was doing, he followed her gaze and realised she was looking at the ducks "You no go in water, you sscared" he teased "You no get ducks!"

'Yes. I require eyes in the back of my head at times.' Sayuri tugged on a kimono sleeve, smoothing the silken material down with two fingers.
'Dylan won't necessarily take on all the traits of soul of the animal, I guess you'll have to wait and see like us all.'
Yamya turned to look at Dylan, pupils a little dilated still. She blinked at him, then looked back at the ducks. She knew she wouldnt go into the water as well, but the ducks did leave it...not that she could go after them with Sayuri around. She sighed, tail swishing a little and brushed crumbs from her hands.
'I not scared..water is stinky..' she declared with an upturned tilt of her nose.
'You stinky too.'

"Me not stinky!!" Dylan protested, he stuck his tounge out at Yamya and thought about pushing her into the water, looking over to his mom he managed to restrict the urge and trooped back over to where Ilusen was standing next to Sayuri, leaving yamya to watch the ducks on her own. "Mommy, me tired, time home?" he said putting his hand over his mouth as he yawned. Ilusen looked at her watch and was shocked when she discovered they had been there nearly the whole day

"Wow, look at the time! We better get back to the house, your sister will be waiting.." She turned to sayuri and smiled "Thank you so much for the great day, i think we should do this again sometime, Dylan certainly had fun, didnt you?" said looked down at her little boy and he nodded his head, smiling up to Sayuri "Yeth, bye bye" he said as he ran off down the hill towards home "See you soon then?" Ilusen said giving her a quick hug then running off towards her rapidly escaping little boy.
