Wow. It's been long. Anywho, update, Financial Aid went through all fine and dandy. I had more than enough, and I have plenty left over to save for food and possible trip to the Netherlands [for friends and the intuitive school I'll be visiting in person, link in signature, yes shameless advertising
blaugh ], who knows when though it depends on what my friends and I are going to be doing and what's going to happen with the school [friends are in the same intuitive school too, it's been undergoing a lot of changes to help fit everyone's needs locally and internationally, the website itself is even out of date, content and background wise, so they been hunting for web developers, yes more shameless advertising
blaugh we really need a web developer if anyone is interested and likes what the school is doing and would love to help out.
smile ]. So for now, not so much worried about my own financial needs, and trying so hard to save. I'm hoping I'd get a big refund next semester too.
My major is, Communication Studies. I basically study all kinds of relationships between people and observe people, how society shapes and changes humanity. I also took up an acting class for the very first time, and so far it's been loads of fun. It's also helps a ton at increasing my Communication skills, which is badly needed for my major. So I may take up a minor in it depending on how Basic Acting goes.
smile As for foreign language, I'm studying Japanese.
The only worry I have now is my grades. I'm on probation period, so I been having some anxiety over that. Also kinda worry on how to tell if I'm really learning this material or not. It's been more enjoyable to learn though. Also took up Tae Kwon Do on the side, can't tell if I actually enjoy it or not since I been out of shape for so long, I been whiny. I got lazy over the summer and gained 20lbs back. Went from 190 to 155 then to 170. Part of is due to lack of meds for my auto immune disease, so weight is hard to lose but easy to maintain at 170ish lbs. I been more interested in stuff like Kung Fu and ancient? Japanese Karate. So could also be a factor in why I have trouble enjoying Tae Kwon Do, it can be fun though. It's an interesting change from my usual asian interests, Japanese/Chinese to Korean. It's uncomfortable and weird.
