 As soon as Danny had gotten up to the foretop, she had made herself comfortable in mere seconds. There was nothing like the smell of the sea or the wind catching her hair. Sure, if she fell in, she would die. But something about the ocean just seemed to present itself as her calling. With keen cat-like eyes, she scanned the horizon... but couldn't see anything that looked like a giant mermaid. "Not really!" She called down.

But then, Danny was, aparently, part something-not-human. Sunny would make a point to ask what exactly that was in a while, but finding Alka was a priority. "Maybe she's underwater, somewhere, do you see any strange shapes under the water?" Sunny asked, looking up hopefully. She really hoped Alka was alright, despite the mermaid's obvious toughness. She was tough, sure, but no one was invincible, and what if a strong marine had defeated her? What exactly had happened while she was unconscious? Ugh, sometimes I wish I'd never eaten that weird fruit! Sunny thought, her thoughts leading her to be a little frustrated.

Danny now lowered her gaze to the water. "Well no..." She frowned; moved to start climbing down, when something off to portside bow caught her eye. "Wait, I think I see something." She announced as she pulled herself back onto the platform and stood up, using the mast for balance. It might be her... She thought positively, but the moment she got a closer look, Danny realized that it was definitely not her. It was much worse. "Sea king!" She yelled just as the beast emerged from below the surface. (( xD this'll be interesting ))

It didn't take long for her to see what it was, either. A large disturbance appeared in the water, then the monster's head. That wasn't all, either. The monster rose above the waves, towering over the boat and giving a tremendous roar. Sunny's eyes widened considerably as she stared up at the beast. It was maybe a little smaller than Alka, but considering Alka's size, it was still a monumental threat to the small boat. "Danny, hold tight!" Sunny ordered. God, I hope my powers are working now, she thought, giving another shout of, "Nikko Nikko no Safa!" This time, it worked, the golden plate forming beneath her feet and lifting her up, just in time for her to grab her deer horn knives. "Don't let it destroy the ship!" she ordered. Maybe if I fly around and attack it, Danny can get a good angle to get a good blow in. With that in mind, she flew at the beast, swerving around it's head at the last moment. She aimed a slash at it's neck, but the scales were as hard as steel. This might be harder than I thought... Sunny thought, scowling.

The first thing Danny wanted to do was panic, but she soon realized that if the ship went down, she would be dragged down with it. She watched Sunny fly up past her; the brave girl heading straight for the beast. I have to get over there somehow. The platform wasn't big enough to hold her full form which jumped the farthest, so she had to use more conventional methods. Danny hastily reached up and untied one of the lines from the mast, using it, she swing over and landed on the creature's head.
It bucked when it felt her there, but by then Danny had already transformed and was sinking her claws roughly in between the scales. God these things are hard!

The creature roared in pain and bucked; she must've dug her claws between the scales. Sunny forced the board to do a back flip, taking her a little lower. Perhaps if she stabbed upwards at the monster, the blades of her knives would slip between the scales. Sunny did so, charging the monster with her board and gripping the knives tightly. With her left hand, she did an uppercut punch-like motion and wa-la! The beast cried in agony. It was a minor wound, but a wound nonetheless. And Sunny knew that if they could wound it, they could defeat it. Sunny floated back, just in time to see the creature's tail come out of the water, hitting the bottom of her board and sending her flying. Sunny flipped quite a few times, but managed to retain her concentration. The sea king was desperately trying to get Danny off, now, and as Sunny raced to get closer, she couldn't help but worry about her navigator a little.

Apparently Sunny must've gotten an idea from Danny's claws, because a second later the beast made an awful wailing sound. A sure sign that Sunny had managed to hurt it. Reassured by this fact, Danny retracted her claws so that she could find a more sensitive spot to attack. But, just as she had done that, the monster began to fling its head to and fro. Danny let out a yipe of surprise as she flew to side.
Her claws somehow managed to catch onto the beast's snout, causing the creature to roar angrily. She quickly scrambled up so that it wouldn't fling her off again. Now, she stood rigid, staring the sea king eye to eye.

Sunny saw a place where the sea king had no scales; it's gills. "Danny, hold on tight!" As Sunny yelled this, she rushed forward and put both knives together, putting all her strength behind slamming the knives into it's gills. The slash it made was a good foot long, tearing through it's gills. The sea king, enraged, threw up his head and gave a roar to rival all others. The splash of blood had hit Sunny, doing a good job of ruining her shirt, but she was a lot more concerned about Danny's well-being. She hoped she'd held on tight, or else she might've gotten bucked off and into the water...

"Don't have to tell me twice!" Danny shouted as she did her best to hold on. The beast seemed to be preoccupied with the tiger on its nose rather than Sunny who was using this to her advantage. With her sensitive ears, Danny could hear the sickening sound of the knives tearing through the sea king's gills. She almost cheered, but was snapped into attention by the creature's sudden movement.
When the beast threw its head back, Danny was thrown up into the air, and landed just above the opening of its mouth. Realizing this kicked her hind legs to pull herself up, but not before scraping her calf against a tooth. With a mighty roar, she ran forward and managed to scratch one of the sea king's eyes. It let out a howl of pain before flinging Danny off. It must've been pure luck, because she was thrown right back onto the deck of the ship.

Alka Anarchy
About half an hour after they'd departed, Alka was cruising along at a fair clip around in the South Blue. Of course, having to keep her head fairly straight, she couldn't see a whole lot besides of what was in front of her, and relied on Hiro to try and see something. Eventually, she called up to him. "OY! See ANYTHING yet? All I'm seeing are sandbars and the flat ocean in front of us!" While she wasn't certain that she needed to shout to have Hiro hear her, it was better to anticipate it and hope that it was unnecessary. Otherwise, this was still the best method of contact at this point in time. There were hundreds, thousands of nautical miles they could be at this point in time, and if they had been captured, they could really be anywhere. Shaking off that nasty thought, Alka pressed onward in the hope of finding them before the sun went down and it got too late. Junior up top, she figured, would get tired and eventually let go, and ruin all her efforts in keeping him there for the moment.

Rearing it's ugly head, it prepared to dive face-first into the boat, which would easily break the small vessel. Sunny quickly put herself between herself and the navigator. "Nikko Nikko no Taiyo Shomeidan!" Extending both arms to their full length, sunlight began to gather around both palms, making a large, blinding light. The sea king, confused, roared and reared back farther. The blast shot out, hitting the beast in the face. Unfortunately, but this time, her board was losing it's own glimmer, fading away. By the time the attack was finished, Sunny was falling back towards the deck herself, too worn out from the combination of sickness and exersion. That nap is looking better and better each minute... she thought, coming crashing down on the deck, effectively breaking a few boards and having them poke up.

 Hiro had been sitting on Alka's head as he continued to swim along, asking him if he could see anything. He did a quick 360 to check as he stopped on a ship seemingly engaged with a sea king... He arched an eye brow as he spoke to him self. "Odd... I didn't know Sea Kings came this far out from the calm belt..." He mumbled to him self as he spotted the jolly roger. He quickly plopped down as he tugged lightly on Alka's right hair strand. "There's a ship fighting a sea king over there! ya! undalay undaly!!!" He said bouncing up and down on Alka's head as he seemed to be getting a little to into it...

She struggled, but Danny managed to push herself to her feet. She'd definitely have to take a look at her leg once she was in human form again. But that could be done later, for now, there were other things at hand. Her eyes trailed over to the sea king, which was slumping back into the water. Whether it was running away or going under to make a second attack, she wasn't sure; hopefully it was the first. Danny then limped over towards where Sunny had crash landed. s**t, I gotta find a first aid box. I just hope they have one on this ship.
The girl honestly wasn't sure that she could carry Sunny and limp at the same time if she were to revert back into a human. So she remained in tiger form, nudged her snout underneath the girl's shoulder. After a few strenuous moments, she somehow managed to drape Sunny over her back. "You okay?" She asked, not sure if the girl was conscious or not.
