-Kit had given a nod in response to the question about a regular panda. A giant panda, as they were called. Black and white... Louis' favorite. Perhaps favorite was too small a term? The boy was in love with the creature. At times, Kit imagined he wanted to be a panda. He'd blinked, watching the seeming magic trick. An illusion created, one that looked as if it would work for a short while. Louis seemed too desperate. Kit doubted he'd notice the diffrence between the illusion and the real thing. However, it was likely he would recognize it as not being his Panda-pan. The two were one and one, soul and soul, heart and heart! Because of that the situation was incredibly serious. If Panda-pan were gone he could imagine what would happen to Louis. He could imagine...- "It'll work wonderfully." -He'd whispered, beginning to rise. Louis was still held in his arms, but seemingly content observing the plushie illusion. The boy seemed to be inspecting it, seeing if it was his.
Kit had paused at the final question. Who was suppose to watch him? That girl. Serl. Sal. Sally. Selem? Salem? Ser... Ser... He thought back to Halley. What had he called her. Sere! Sere was her name. He blinked, recalling Niko having mentioned one of her children named Sere. Coincidence?- "A friend of one of my boys was suppose to be watching them for the evening." -He'd spoken softly, still not certain he had the name right.- "Halley's older friend. Sere's her name, I believe." -He'd continued speaking quietly, not wanting to disturb Louis' peace in scrutinizing the plushie.-

Niko smiled at Louis as he quieted down, standing up and massaging a temple with a hand. "Sere...? Sere's supposed to watch him? Is she an angel with choppy hair?" She asked, frowning while fidgeting a little. If her daughter was supposed to watch them, it made sense that the boy left; she didn't care in the least about kids. Kit couldn't have known that, or maybe he was just scrounging for whichever sitter came up? She shook her head, her headache getting worse as she thought about it.
--
Sere couldn't help it; she sneezed. She tried quieting it by hiding her nose in the crook of an arm, but it was still fairly loud. Damn winter, I better not be ******** sick... She grumbled to herself, before shifting nervously. Did it really take that long to ruin a date?

-Halley had been watching, listening. His stomach had started twisting. Ohhh. He felt sick to his stomach. They seemed to be leaving before they ate. Halley knew why... And when Kit found out he knew he was in for it. Not only that, Sere was most likely in for it too! He frowned, tugging at his sleeves. What had he been thinking?! Quietly, he moved to leave the building. He needed toget back to Sere...-
---
-Louis had continued, checking everything on the illusion with detail. He scanned the arms, every stitch, and he did the same with the rest of the panda, working sluggishly...-
-Kit had blinked. An angel with choppy hair. A nod was given.- "Yes. Short hair, blonde, angel wings... A teenager." -He'd decited the description.- "Is that...?" -Irony was a funny thing. He was dating the babysitter's mother?-

The edges of Niko's mouth came up in a crooked grin. "Yeap, that's her." She said simply, rolling her eyes with an inhalation of breath, dropping her hands to her sides. "She's probably not the best choice to look after little kids; she hates them." She made a face, shaking her head.
--
Sere twitched as she saw a white blob come out the door, and sat up as Halley crept over. "About damn time, Hal'." She said, grumbling. "What the hell took you so long?"

-Halley seemed incredibly displeased, either with himself or the night in general. What had he done? What had he been thinking? He could imagine his punishment. Kit never really punished anyone, but he'd always made threats about it. Taping one to the wall, locking them in a closet for a few hours, making them clean the attic, for the basement was clean and owned by Kouji. But, those seemed kind punishments compared to what Halley felt he'd get when Kit found him. He quivered, eyes nervous and full of regret. He'd truely get it for what he said to Louis if te boy told on him..- "Louis... He went right up to them. They're leaving now to find Panda-pan." -He murmured.- "And then probably us."
---
-Irony was certainly a horrid thing. Halley had said Sere would 'gladly take care' of everyone, and that she'd do good. A lie, he could see now. But, Kit couldn't make himself be too angry at that moment. He had other things to worry about! Louis' sanity...- "Seems Halley may have decieved me.." -Kit had mumbled, shaking his head to himself. Was it deception? Why would Halley have asked Kit to hire someone who wasn't fond of little kids? He had a feeling it had to do with independance. Halley was an intellegent boy. He liked his freedom to do as he pleased, and Kit knew that... Silently, he turned to start out the restraunt. So much for a meal. He hoped no one would grow angry for their leaving before eating or even being served.- "Best we hurry. Louee's better at identifying things than one might think."

Niko nodded, dropping a few coins on the table as payment before following after it, flinching as she stepped outside into the cold, hurriedly bundling her coat back on, wrapping her wings around her shoulders.
--
She swore, glaring at the ground. "Damn it all to hell. ********, we should've left him behind. And knowing 'mother dear,' she'll have me grounded till I'm her age." She said, rolling her eyes before standing up and grabbing Halley's hand. "C'mon then, we needa get back before they do, damnit. And look out for the ******** toy, too." She said, pulling the demon out of the bushes.

-Halley had been mentally berating himself. He couldn't understand, suddenly, what he'd been thinking in following Kit in the first place. He'd wanted t osee the date himself, true... But, it had turned into something else. He'd wanted to wreck it. In part because of Sere, but in part because... He wasn't sure what the other half was.
The boy blinked. The sudden motion of being pulled from the bushes having startled him a tad. A moment passed before Halley gave a brief nod. No words. He seemed lost in his own thoughts. Or perhaps he was simply lost? Quickly, he forced himself to move. Sere was right. They needed to hurry back. If they were there when Kit was punishment would most likely be less. Maybe.-
---
-Kit had attempted to shift his jacket a little, the cold air hitting him. Ah. Coldness. If he could put Louis down he could zip the jacket up. But, he could not do such a thing. He needed to move. Work. Ha! Tat--- Takeru the toy detective. Saving toys one step at a time! He frowned nervously as he pressed foward, trying not to walk too quickly or leave Niko far behind.
The fox tail attached to him had brushed the ground, a habit of frustration. Ears had remained drooping low. Dandy. Dandy. For a moment he'd thought he would have done good, possibly found someone. But with the situation and the awkwardness of dating Halley's friend's parent he doubted it would work. Not that he needed it to work. He could survive full well on his own. His face softened a bit at such an idea. If he could survive, why had he been dating? Because he'd been told to...-
-Louis had continued to observe the 'plushie'. He seemed hypnotized by it. Those sparking blue eyes of his, lit up with tears, were scanning like a photo copier. They looked each location over multiple times, occasionaly pausing as if catching something not endemic to Panda-pan. A hiccup sounded, and he shifted. One arm held fast to Kit, another to the 'plushie'.-

Sere ignored her friend's silence, tugging him forward as she started running, a little slower then normal since she wasn't sure how fast Halley could run. "Move your legs, damnit!" She muttered tersely to the demon.
--
Niko trotted after him, again, wrapping her arms around her torso to consreve the heat that was rapidly being snapped away by the wind. "Where are we heading now? If Sere's involved, I wanna come with." She said, lifting her chin stubbornly.

(( Sorry about the wait. XD If I ever take this long again feel free to prod me. -laughs- ))
-Move his legs? Move his bloody legs? Halley staggered along, startled partially by himself and partially by what was happening. He'd planned it! He'd had everything in order, everything ready... And then Louis... Louis! Up and down Halley had began to swear that he'd beat the twit when he saw him aga--- Beat him? a bit of horror struck him, and his body began to ache a tad. He was shaking, trembling, a miniture seizure in a way. Those eyes of his had grown wide due to the sudden strike of fear. He was contradicting himself! He'd wanted to cause the trouble, but suddenly he felt remorse for it. It had been wrong, so very wrong. But, he hadn't done any harm to anyone, not that he knew of. He'd simply gawked at Kit and spyed a little, and then Louis? He thought back to the child and his head spun like the quickest of merri-go-rounds. The young demon began to run, but he did not get too far before his legs buckled due to his trembling and he stumbled drastically into the ground. Strands of his hair had flown helter-skelter... If they did not make it back to the house in time they were toast! Or rather, Sere would be, when he thought about it properly... She was in charge. Kit would blame her, and Halley knew it, and he didn't... He didn't want that. His heart began to tighten, and breathing became increasingly difficult. What had he done? What had he been doing? Thinking? Had he been thinking? Not with intellegence...- "Sere, get back there, now!" -He'd blurted out, sounding a bit demanding. He'd skinned his knees during his stumble-fall, and the shaking had augmented a tad. How horrid, the boy looked like a rabbit! He certainly wasn't cut out for delinquency. Or, was he? His actions earlier in the evening had suggested the potential, but the way Halley shook, and the way he looked, at the realization of the potential 'getting caught' was ridiculous.-
---
-The first of things he had noticed was Niko's actions to preserve heat. Louis' appearence had almost robbed him of his vague knowledge of dating. He paused for a moment, thinking of the gentleman concept he had been brought up to loosly follow throughout his life. Quickly, he looked at his jacket, thinking of zipping it, then he glanced at Louis, then Niko. His thought process managed to play out within a split moment. He shifted Louis about before sliding his jacket off and holding it out to Niko, while resuming his walking.-"Here, you look like you need it a lot more than I do. Freezing out here, and ladies shouldn't be freezing." -His tone held a bit of deep mystery, something similar to romantism, theatrics. However, the words were not a fallacy like theatrics. Instead of falsehood they rang with sincerity.
A weak, nervous smile crossed his face at the sound of her words. Sere involved. He'd need to have a talk with that girl when everything was cleared up. He couldn't have her babysitting for him again, not if delicate situations were to emerge while he were out. He needed responsible indivisuals! His children were... They were difficult. All of them had their issues, their needs, and they needed to be met! Inwardly, he laughed at how much his thoughts resembled that of a mother hen.- "Before we head back I need to find Panda-Pan..." -His voice had grown soft.- "Louis can't live without it--- Him. Panda-Pan is sort of the threshold guardian. Louis isn't ready for the abyss, and if Panda-Pan's gone he's doomed to get thrown into it. It's a long story..." -A heavy sigh was emitted.- "But he just can't handle it. He'll shut down soon if I don't find Panda-Pan, and that's definetly not good." -But where the hell was Panda-Pan? Kit's face twisted in horror. He didn't know where to look. He had a hunch Panda-Pan were likely around the house, most likely in the yard or on the sidewalk, but he couldn't be too sure about it.-

(( xd No worries ^^))
Sere was sprinting ahead, but when the sound of Halley's quicker footsteps suddenly stopped, she stopped as well, windmilling her arms to cut down on her momentum, turning it instead to swing herself around. "Damnit, Halley! I'm not leaving your a** back here. You couldn't find your way out've a bag with a map." She smirked crookedly, surpressing the hint of irritation and growing unsteadyness, before stooping down to slide him onto her shoulders, her knees buckling a litte, since she was hardly the most athletic person. "Don't ******** squirm, kay?" She said shortly, before resuming her stride, somewhat slowed by his weight but ever-nearing the house.
---
Niko smiled thankfully at him, quickly sliding the jacket on, almost purring as the warmth helped her, thanking the fact that it hid her slight blush at being called a lady. "Th-thanks." She frowned as he started describing the situation with the toy. "He's really that dependant? That will really cause problems when he gets older, especially in highschool..." She trailed off, shuddering to think of the possibilities. "I can look for it, him, okay? I'll just follow after you, it'll probably have some of his heat left in it, and I can see that. So go on, I'll just follow your trail." She said with a smile. "Just try and keep Sere in place till I get there...? I don't think I can handle her by myself..." Niko admitted reluctantly.

-Kit had been more than hesitant at responding to the comments. The hard truth was that Louis was incredibly dependant on things. The boy needed Panda-Pan as badly as he needed the panda outfit. Kit had difficulty forcing the boy out of the thing when bath time came around. It was a constant war, a delicate one, that he had far too much trouble with. He was a young man, and an inexperienced father. He did not understand the concepts of parenting beyond trying to keep children in line. Of course, he had the vague idea that he needed to protect, and that fueled him at times. However, it was amazingly hard to protect Louis of all his children. The boy required tedious amounts of attention, and certain activities were improbable. He could hardly convince Louis to take a bath, let alone convince him to handle school directly and functionally when the time came to do so. He knew what would happen. Louis would fall apart if someone took Panda-Pan. He would never talk to anyone... He would sit alone, talk to that plushie... Or he would be a breathing corpse. No outcome for Louis seemed decent. Kit's heart sank a tad as he thought of High School. None of his boys, or even Kioshi, were ready for such a thing. Terrance had been helping him school them privatly, but Kit knew he couldn't do that forever. Sooner or later Kioshi would want classes like her dance class, classes with other students... Kouji needed the socialization, or rather, the mental support... Halley? Halley, Kit was certain, would hate the idea of the education system. Halley was a bright boy, far more intellegent than he gave off. Kit knew that! Halley was capable of preaching the theories of Einstein if he truly wished to do it. E=MC squared... Lukus? Kit thought about Lukus and a bit more dread washed over him. That would not work either. Lukus had become dependant on his dog, and that meant school would be hell if they wouldn't let him bring the girl! The terror shone in Kit's face like a firefly in the night. Instinctivly, he held Louis a bit tighter than before. His throat was cleared. Schooling. It wasn't a concern. They were getting an education privatly. Tutors. Terrance helped. That's all that mattered. No public school. No public school. Selective days. Reports. Requirements. No public schooling.- "Let's... Just say he and Panda-Pan... Are like identical twins. Louis relies on i-- Him." -It. He had been about to say 'it' again! Damn toy had to have a gender according to Louis.- "I don't know why... I just know the consequences for seperating the two are harsh." -It's like when I was a kid. Stupid wooden horse... Stupid sea shells..., He'd thought back, recalling vague simularities of dependance. He himself had been attached to items. Then again, his attachment had never reached the level of which Louis's had.
A weak smile was given in regards to the other comments. He would owe the woman if she found Panda-Pan for certain. He didn't know what he'd be able to do in return for the deed, thus that kept him in a pickle. Despite that, Kit noted everything. He would, eventually, think of some way to return the favor. a nod was given.- "I'll keep her there, don't worry. If there's one thing I know I can do it's keep someone stuck in one place for a long time." -his weak smile wavered as the hurrying continued. down the sidewalk, step, step, step. He felt cold, the chilled air beating against his slender bare arms. Kit truly was a scrawny little figure.- "And thank you." -He'd murmured, not quite silent, not quiet loudly.- "I... Owe you big time if you find Panda-Pan."
---
-Scared rabbit. timid boy. Stupid choices. Not rough material. Halley was aching. Everything seemed to be happening quickly, and he had little to no time to think about what he had been doing! about what was going to happen to them --- Sere --- if they didn't get there --- She didn't. He blinked, the nervous feelings arising in his face at the sound of her words. She wasn't going to leave him there. A map. He gave a feeble smile at the comment. his sense of direction wasn't that bad... Or was it? He did not defend himself, rather cooperated with her lifting him up onto her shoulders. It felt... Incredibly odd sitting on Sere's shoulders. He had a feeling that he was rather heavy, and that certainly had made him mildly admire her strength. The movement continued, the house showing almost clearly up the street. No squirming.- "Got'cha." -He whispered gratefully.-

Niko smiled, waving her hands at him and shoving him forward, though her slight weight did almost nothing. "Thank me later, I havn't found the toy yet." She grinned again, before shutting her eyes beneath the blindfold, thinking for a moment before taking two steps to the side, and turning to jump over the bushes lining the street. He's around here somewhere, but where? Look for heat, look for heat... She slowly chanted to herself, keeping her "eyes" open for any sort of heat signature.
Sere snorted slightly, picking up her pace as she saw th lights of the house poking annoyingly through the trees. "Almost there..." She said, panting slightly through her mouth, feeling her lips dry with the warm air. A few minutes later, the angel came up to the front path, before stopping and letting Halley's weight slide off her back, as she leaned forward with her hands resting on her knees, breathing hard.

-They made it! They'd made it! Halley was breathing softly, eyes still a bit wide due to the shock. He couldn't believe they'd almost gotten caught! Or rather, he just couldn't manage to believe the uncontrolable urge for mischief that had made itself a temporary home within Halley. Sluggishly, shakily, he lifted a hand to tuck a strand of white hair behind one of his ears. He did the same to the alternate side of his face. His legs had continued to hurt and, in a way, he felt as if he would collapse again. such a wild evening... Nothing was said to Sere as she caught her breath. In fact, Halley seemed to have dropped off of the planet and entered an alternate world. He'd frozen in posture and expression, but his body had continued to quiver. That had sooned passed, though. Halley settled down. They were alright... Sere wouldn't get in trouble, niether would he... It would simply look as if Louis had run off on his own, which was not an obviously probable idea for anyone knowing Louis... His hands were set on his arms, squeezing at himself. His heart was beating too quickly.- "'m s...rry." -He mumbled the words at a near inaudiable tone. his head was hung a bit. Ahh! He blinked, realizing the pain in his knees. They were scraped fairly badly, a small bit of blood trickling from the freshly scraped skin. his hand were also suffering from a mild burning sensation. However, Halley did not fret over it. He set it aside... As if he were use to the physical pain.-
---
-Louis had been occupied with the illusion that had been thrown at him. He had not ceased studying it, a look of suspicion plastered to his grief-stricken face... Regardless, he had not the slightest clue what was occuring about him.-
-Kit has taken the shove as a hint. A firm nod had been delivered before he hurried off. He practically ran down the sidewalk, mind set on getting one task accompished: Find sere, keep her at the house. With his mission decided he set his sight foward, dedicated and determined to complete the nessicary task...-
-Panda-Pan, tiny as he seemed to be, was, oddly enough, not located within a bush, or even in plain view on the sidewalk. One had to look around, observe the area with great care, wary care... If one did such a thing they would find the panda.... but finding him in good condition was a completly different story!
Located near the side of the road one could see a rather dirty panda plushie. It was ragged and suddenly worn, covered, soaked, and injured as if it had been run over by cars... The body was twisted awkwardly, and one of the arms had been ripped from the seem, cotton poking out of it. One of the legs had also been torn. Emitting from the plushie was none other than the essence of Louis. It was a pure aura of sorts, fine, innocnet, but claimed. The sight of the plushie in such a condtion, for anyone who had ever encountered the young and relying Louis, was dreadful, agonizing... Was Panda-Pan capable of being salvaged? And Louis? What would become of Louis if making Panda-Pan look as good as new were not probable? What would occur...?-

Sere stood up again, still breathing hard, before turning back to grab Halley's hand. "C'mon, we've still gotta get inside." She said, running up to the door, before opening and propelling Halley through before shutting it loudly behind her, hurriedly weaving into the TV room where they left Kouji. She jumped up onto the couch, lying down on her belly while trying to look as if she'd been there awhile.
---
Niko was looking around for a few minutes, all the while wanting to pull her hair in annoyance. Where the hell is it? She asked herself, before reluctantly deciding she wasn't going to find it, not without help. Sighing, she clambered over the bushes, flicking her wings a little to avoid getting a feather caught on the branches. It was when she was about to head down the street, in the direction Kit had been going in, when she saw a small splash of orangey-red in the corner of her vision. Turning to look, she saw a mound of color that was rapidly losing what little heat it had. Hurriedly running over, she stopped on her knees, picking up the torn and battered toy. Ohh, poor Louis... Can I fix this? I don't know... I've certainly got the magic to fix seams, but something this screwed up? She shook her head. No, bring it back to Kit first. He might have something. With that thought, she carefully tucked the panda into Kit's coat, wrapping her arms around it to give more heat.

-Halley had fallen into the room, nearly hitting the floor as Sere hurried to position herself for an act. Everything seemed fairly empty. The T.V. wasn't even on, but Kouji was there in the room. Kouji was there, doing something... What was he doing? He was staring at a piece of paper scribbled on, nearly torn into. how wierd... Wierd Kouji. It was ignored, Halley deciding to completly ignore Kouji for the moment. He wasn't concerned about the other at all at that moment. Kouji was fine. He was always fine! He just did wierd things. Sometimes Halley just didn't understand.
The demon shifted and straightened himself. His eyes were set on Sere, chest rising and falling in an awkward manner. One lips was tucked under another. He just watched her... Watched... and then he left. Halley turned and walked away. Where he had been planning on going in the house was anyone's guess. More than likely he was heading to his room.-
----
-Kit had tripped, stumbled, staggered, and hurt himself all along the trip. He'd twisted his ankle and had ended up limping the remainder of the trip back to his house. Bloody clumsy nature had taken advantage of him during a great time of need. Regardless, he made it back in one piece, with Louis still occupied by the false Panda-Pan. It was a wonder, to Kit, that the boy had not figured it out yet. Then again, Louis was possibly trying to make himself believe rather than make himself disbelieve. Either option were possible, and, either way, it was funny how long it was taking him to get ahold of the fact that it was not Panda-Pan.
Sluggishly, he moved on up the pathway to the door, practically dying due to a lack of breath. Scrawny, and unathletic. Kit was certainly not a role model! At least, he was not one who would produce a rough, tough jock.
A heavy sigh fell from his mouth as he reached the door and nudged the door open quickly. He was breathing, choking, gasping! AH! His ankle was on fire thanks to the twist, and Louis's weight made balancing everything on one leg just as painful as walking on the twisted half of the leg and foot limb. Kit limped, pausing once he was part way into the living room... He didn't look calm, nor happy, nor sad, nor tired... He looked... Angry? Annoyed? Damn ankle...-
