Jericho was almost certain that he'd won that round. When Riley had a bust, he grinned at her and ducked to avoid getting a card to the face. However the grin he had disappeared when Nuk managed to beat both himself and Amrita.
With a huff, he said, "Count me in again. Can't walk away with just that."

Sparrow quirked a brow, glancing first at the cards the dealer was shuffling, then briefly around at the others still grouped around the table. He shrugged, a smile playing at the corners of his lips as he cast an amused glance at Riley.
"I'm in."

Curious, Xiu had found herself wandering back to the games, watching with interest as the first blackjack game proceeded. When a second game was called, the little Baku immediately put up her hand and moved closer to the table.
"I'd like to play, please?"

"Hey, my sleeves are rolled up, what more d'ya want from me?" Nuk replied indignantly, shuffling and bridging the cards, "It's Boogie's ghost haunting you all or something. I dunno. The game table is haunted."
The skinwalker thought twice about what he'd just said, peering around the table to see if there were any ghout students playing, just in case he had to amend his statement and say obviously it was. Whatever mild irritation he had felt, however, quickly evaporated as he noticed the little Baku approach the table, grinning at the prospect of another player and dealing two cards to each of the students gathered around the table.
"Not a problem Flower."

Returning the rest of the cards to their place, Nuk leaned against the table a bit, waiting for them to decide their fate.
"Hmm... I would suggest a Hit for most of you... Riley, you should probably stay."
Not that the demoness would probably listen to him.

Someone new had entered the game; a ghoul with pale hair and a flowered dress. Sparrow offered her a warm smile, lifting his hand in a brief greeting before turning back to look at the cards. A five and a three, eh..? That's relatively low...
"Hit me, please."

She lifted a claw to point at Nukpana dangerously. Don't tell me how to play the game, boil. I know the odds. I will stay.
.. She really wanted to defy the odds again and ask for a hit, though.

Already starting to shuffle out the cards, the monster snickered at how bold Charlie had gotten, now that he knew he wasn't actually going to get hit. Again, the boil winked in Amrita's direction, who also seemed much more at ease, rolling his eyes towards Sparrow as if the boil felt his pain. He almost automatically dealt another card to Riley also, but was a little surprised when she said she would stay, smirking at her little quip.
"Alright, alright, everyone knows you're the boss," Nuk replied, grinning a little at the irony of that statement. Not tonight she wasn't -- tonight, she was his assistant, which hadn't ceased to provide endless amusement to the boil.
To Xiu, Nuk couldn't help but slide the card a tad bit gentler, as if her 'thank you' had been much appreciated.

It looked like everyone had gotten pretty good cards this time. Except poor Xiu, who was lagging. That was ok though -- it seemed the petite number fit perfectly to the petite girl.
"Blah blah, hit or stay, you know how it works. I need to come up with better speeches," Nuk sighed, resting his chin on his elbow.
