"Yay!" Astra cheered Askaja as he finally was able to remove one of the pieces after being zapped so many times. It was good to see they were making progress, even if it was slow...
Looking at what had been taken so far, She decided to go a Yellow piece next, being as careful as she possible could. She lifted it up, holding her breath as she did but began to breathe at it was successfully removed, watching it dissipate

Tybalt couldn't help the slight wag of his tail when the three successfully retrieved their pieces and wincing in sympathy for Alessa when she got zapped. Judging by her expression, she was also not fond of this exam and he couldn't blame her in the least. He wasn't particularly fond of getting zapped either.
This was only proven to be more true when he reached carefully for another yellow piece and got zapped when the tweezers lightly brushed the edge of the game board; sending an all too familiar shock up his already numbing arm. Another failure. He admitted to himself, as he bit down on any choice words he had on the tip of his tongue and was now dying to spit out.

Well, it looked like they were doing better. Though the easiest pieces were gone, by the looks of it. They couldn't all go for those, either. They needed to balance some of the risk, some of the pain, if they all wanted to make it through. She decided to take a leaf out of Aksaja's book and went for a pink one. Oh Jack, she could almost feel that shock coming for her. She bit her lip...

Alessa yelped and drew her hand back. Well, so much for that. Maybe she'd go back for the easier pieces.

((This post should hopefully be at least 12 hours after my last @.@))
Since she had been lucky with something easy, Astra decided she should try and retrieve one of the harder pieces again. Although, as she looked at the Green one smack dag in the middle, she sighed. This exam had taken on a hole new level of difficulty that was unique compared to all the other trials she had ever done at this school.
Well, she had signed up for the 2nd year class. So tasks like these should be expected...sort of. She reached out again to try and pick up the piece...
"BBZZTTT"
"AAAHHHHHH!" For the third time Astra jumped back from the table, the shock making herwhole arm numb. If she wasn't mistaken, it felt like she the shocks were getting more powerfull. Or, she was jsut getting weaker...

Since he'd had decent luck with the first red piece, Aksaja decided to go for the other one. He stepped up to the board with tweezers held at the ready, biting his lip just a little in concentration.
"Yea!" he called out as he was, once again, successful in removing a red piece. Maaaybe he was getting better at this.

Astra was getting worried now, considering she had already been zapped three times, and they still have so many pieces to pull out. Not to mention the green was was still in...
She opted to try and stick to the most easiest (that were left), and went to pull out another Yellow one, and was happy to see she had been successful

Now that the 'easier' pieces had been removed, she found herself staring at the remaining pieces; or rather, the yellow pieces left on the board. She had failed in removing a more difficult piece before, but she knew that this exam required teamwork as well... Determined, she reached for a yellow piece with her tweezers, carefully attempting to pull it out.
Bzzzzzzzzt!
"Ow!" She frowned as she failed, dropping the tweezers yet again as her hand brushed against the side of the board. Massaging her now-numb hand, she pouted. NEXT TIME, YELLOW PIECE. NEXT TIME.

Tybalt had to admit, he was quite relieved to see the pieces slowly being removed from their respective areas on the game board. There were far less now and it was thanks to the efforts of everyone that they even made it this far. He knew for a fact that if it was him alone, he would have already been out cold on the floor and now that he looked, there were exactly half the amount of the yellow pieces left. If they could all get those out, maybe they could all work at the those other difficult pieces all at once together and hope to get lucky? It was an idea, but even still. The yellow pieces were not the underestimated. After all, they too were tricky pieces.
Moving in, he reached out carefully for another of the yellow pieces, watching carefully this time where the edges of the tweezers were. He did NOT want to experience the consequences of a third jolt; his hand was still shaking from the last two.
Thankfully, there was no third jolt. At least, not yet, as he slowly and successfully lifted the piece free.

Was this test even passable? Alessa was starting to have her doubts. It wasn't that they weren't making progress, but the farther along they all got...the more often they seemed to be shocked. Wouldn't eventually the shocks make it impossible to continue? She dreaded that. Her hand wasn't recovering nearly as nicely as it had before. And she was starting to get a headache from the pain and stress. Oi. She had a bad feeling about this.
With a resigned sigh, she decided to try for the green piece. No one had in a while. It did need to come out eventually.
BZZZTTTTTTT.
"Ouch." Her mewl was rather pathetic, but the pain was starting to get to her.

Aksaja grinned as he saw that they were slowly getting all of the yellow pieces out. That was good, though the hardest pieces were still on the game board. Which really wasn't good. They'd all been shocked at least a couple of times now, and he really wanted to pass this damn exam . . .
Debating for a moment, the lightning dragon took a breath and reached for a pink piece with the tweezers. And he pumped a fist into the air as he was successful. Yes! Just one more pink, the rest of the yellows and the green one left now!

Looking at the pieces that were left, Astra didn't want to keep going for the easier ones while people got shocked, yet..she didn't want to try for the green one again. She chose the next hardest one left, the Pink one

"Ack!" This time, astra feel to the ground, not able to get up partly due to the pain that was causing her whole body to be numb now. It began to reside, but very slowly at that. It looked like she wouldn't be able to take another shock at this point...

When her hand could feel again, she wasted no time in picking up the tweezers she had dropped and going for another yellow piece. However, before she could even attempt to pull it out, her fingers brushed across the side of the board and she quickly pulled back her hand in response to the stinging pain that followed.
Ugh, was it just her, or was the pain intensifying with every mistake she made? This was just another 'yellow piece' fail...

Tybalt bit his lip after hearing the zaps. It was a sound that he'd never care to hear again if he could help it. Unfortunately, there were still five pieces remaining. Pieces that they still had to remove. That is, if they wanted to pass this exam and unfortunately, he did.
Gritting his teeth together in preparation for another jolt, the black dog carefully moved forward again, gripping another yellow piece with the tweezers before he successfully lifted it free, without any zaps involved.
Only four pieces remaining now...

It was a little while before Astra could feel her hands and stand up again, her muscles sore from the repeated shocks that kept happening. Nurse Cricket had mentioned that she would 'buffer' their health, so until everyone had been shocked she wouldn't pass out. But what did that mean?
She didn't want to find out. Yet, she couldn't just stand there and let everyone take more shots. She had to keep trying! Gingerly, she picked up her tweezers and went for another Yellow piece.
"phewwww" Thank Jack she didn't get shocked! She pulled out the yellow piece successfully

Right, there were only a few left and waiting wouldn't help any. So once the way was clear, he set in to try and remove another yellow piece. Only this time, he got his third jolt up his arm in result of his failure; forcing him to retract his hand quickly and cradle it in his other arm.
This was getting bad. He wasn't sure how much more of this he could handle. Most of the feeling in his arm was already gone.
