Team Black
Ainsley adjusted the black bandana that was tied around her neck like a scarf carefully as she tried to fill up the water balloons as fast as she could. Well, as fast as she could without dropping any in the process. If any of the balloons were going to break they were going to break as they hit someone on Team Red, not the ground! She finished filling up another balloon and she moved to pass it to the nearest person on Team Black that she could find: Peter, who had already just thrown one and was ready for another.
"Here you go! Go get them!" She smiled. She wanted to win!
She nodded, cheering him on as she hurried to work on filling more balloons.

A fat balloon slapped against Lily stomach splashing her front with water. It was still early in the game and it seemed she was sufficiently wet. It amused her as she once again shouted this time to Peter, "Awww you got me, but I going to get you back!"
Her voice was friendly very cheerful to show she really did not mind get splashed with water balloon, even as another smacked her right in the bottom wetting up her shorts real good, she still smiled.
Quickly she grabbed another water balloon and tossed it at Peter hoping to get the little boy just a little more wet. It seemed like he wasn't usually having much fun at camp, she hoped this little competition would help.

Team red!
Castille screamed as the water balloon came towards her, and she ducked as it sailed over her head. Aitana had missed. She laughed as balloons exploded all around her, and she raced to get another just as Lily was being hit with one to her right. She heaved the fat blue balloon at Aitana, hoping for another direct hit.
"Take that!" She shouted at her teammate.

Paris was pretty satisfied with his aim so far. Aside from the first balloon, he'd been doing pretty well. Sure, he wasn't able to avoid getting wet himself, but he didn't mind. It felt good and he was able to enjoy himself. And the kids were behaving and seemed to be having fun, so it was pretty much a win-win.
He collected a few more water balloons to toss them at various people on the opposing team, slipping and sliding a little bit as the ground grew wet and soggy. He was at least glad he'd been smart enough not to wear any of his good shoes.

Despite the crowd it was easy enough to find familiar faces, and it seemed Castille and Aitana were in for a duel TO THE DEATH!! Full of rawr faces and everything.
Laughing as another balloon sailed at her Aitana picked up a balloon of her own and heaved it at Castille.

Sam was already dripping, soaked in water. But he didn't care. Like a shaggy dog, he violently shook his head, splashing water off his hair. Then he was ready for another. The boy went for another balloon and then went shooting off, leaping a surprise attack on Lily; she wouldn't mind.

Team Black
The child barely had a chance to fill another water balloon up when she noticed Sam was on her team and soaked in water. He looked like he was having fun though, and a little water never hurt anyone! Well, this wasn't entirely true, but for a fun game with water balloons it mostly rang true. She watched him retrieve a water balloon nearby and she waved to him, wishing him good luck before he went after a member of Team Red. Everyone was having fun, and even Ainsley was enjoying filling up the balloons which she then passed to her team members with a smile on her face.

Team Red
Hug-bell giggled as the water balloon Paris tossed back and she tried to catch had exploded in her hands. It was pretty funny, she then noticed Jenna's and tried to catch it, however it landed on the ground at her feet. Oops.
The child ran back for another water balloon and threw it towards someone she thought would be un-expecting of a balloon from her direction. Her target happened to be Sam.

Red Team FTW!
This balloon flew true, and Castille soon had a very wet patch of shirt on her side. She laughed aloud, dodging other balloons that were being flung about. She wasn't sure which team was winning, but boy was this fun!
She readied a green balloon, swinging it by the tied end while she searched for a good target. Other than Aitana of course. She was always available. She decided third time was a charm, and threw the balloon towards Aitana, admiring the way the balloon spun in midair.

Skidding to a halt next to one of the her team's bins, Harper reloaded her arsenal. She wasn't going to take much time switching up her strategy, but a slight change in tactics was necessary. The bright atmosphere filled with laughter was a constant reminder not to take things too seriously, yet missing the majority of her shots was threatening to get under her water-soaked skin.
All the more reason to hit the archery range afterwards!

"You're not even trying." Eve pointed out, making what could only be described as a 'D:' face. She was getting wet, with water balloons splashing at her feet, but she didn't mind. What kind of lifeguard would she be if she was a**l about getting wet?
She had been pelted with worse, she thought with a grimace. Like youma dust. Still, Eve quickly scooped up a water balloon and aimed it at one of the kids. Not at the face of course.

Going for another balloon, seeing as the last one had missed, Jenna was laughing and took aim this time, she'd hit Istas this time. Calling out to the other, a warning to be polite, she threw the water balloon.
"Catch Istas!" Not that you wanted to catch one, they might break in your hands and you'd still wind up wet. Dripping wet herself, and laughing this was all good and fun, and it seemed everyone was enjoying it.

Although Ainsley was filling water balloons as quickly as she could, they seemed to be going just as fast! She'd thought she'd be safe from the water balloon's course while filling them up but she was wrong, and Eve's water balloon seemed to hit Ainsley instead of any of the kids actually throwing the water balloons. A twist, how unexpected in this story!
"Ah!" She squealed as she was splashed with the water as the water balloon broke against her, causing her to drop the balloon she had just begun to fill. She fidgeted as she tried and redeem the water balloon before it fell on the ground and lost all the water contents from the balloon to her feet but she'd been too late.
She looked at herself, now with a large amount of water covering herself, and took a moment to consider it. It was just water, it was like going swimming, right? The clothes dried and were perfectly fine afterward. She'd have to consider this a pre-soaking before her clothes were washed. Imagine how clean they would be! She giggled, and hurried back with the untied balloon to try and make more for her team.

Right so, making water balloons had been a wonderful plan but it really was doing nothing to keep him dry. He wasn't sure anyone was -really- aiming at him but water balloons kept coming in his direction or close enough to it. At least though from the look of things no one else seemed to be fairing muc better. The kids who were actually throwing balloons were even worse off than he was but everyone was laughing so it was good. He'd been right too in thinking that it would help keep some of the heat at bay. It didn't feel nearly as bad as he knew it should have.
Carrying a pile of newly made balloons over he dumped them into one of the bins just as another on his team, Harper he thought her name was, grabbed up some of the last few.
"The blue ones should fly better. Filled them up a bit more so they're firm." He grinned slightly.
