i'm thinking time flows differently
how about Aurora and Olyver are a few days ahead, so that the dragons attack while our Saayeri characters sleep and Feiro is a few weeks behind so he has time to figure out this spellshit.
also do you want to play the second learner / a mage?

and feiro & cali are still slowest -- they have to find the cure to the blood magic just after the enslaved dragons attack, and just get to Saayeri just as the Saayi learn of the attack
