"Alright, so Super Smash it is," nodded Jericho before moving to get his Eii set up so that they could play the game. Once the game was loaded up, he handed a controller to Lizzy as well as one to Levi so she could get an idea of what it was like.
"I guess we'll do one round of just Lizzy and I so you can get the basic idea and then you can jump in on the next one?" he suggested, "Basically, the goal of this game is to knock your opponents off the stage. A is for the basic attacks. B is for special attacks. Use the control stick to move around, and hitting up will make you jump. R will activate your shield for a short time."
"So.. whenever you're ready go ahead and pick your character out and we'll begin."

Levi sat cross-legged in front of the SkeeV and cords in attention beside Lizzy. Her tail whirled into a spiral behind her for a more compact mode. She didn't want to cause any trouble for the other two while they showed her a demo match on this console they were playing with/on. She placed the bag of cookies in front of her and unravelled the top so they were up for grabs by wanting hands.
There was something about the controlled Jericho offered that was odd. Buttons. Examining the labeled smooth tops of the buttons as Jericho spoke, explaining their purpose, Levi became entranced by the intricacy involved. Every botton had a purpose? Different buttons could do different things? She flicked the joystick with her thumb after looking to the other two on the proper way of holding the controller. Oh Jack... this looks complicated. She'd obviosuly never admit this factor when battling was involved though. Alright- think I got it (she didn't) Let's see what ya'll got! She smiled and watched the screen while this started to pop up and move. They were doing it. The things were moving because of them on the screen. Amazing!

"Sounds easy enough!" Lizzy nodded at Jericho's instructions as she examined the controller in her hands; she had never tried this game before, but it didn't seem like anything too complicated since she had used the Eii controller once... Also at Jericho's place. At the character selection screen, she frowned, scrolling through the many characters while frowning; it's tough to just pick one!
In the end, she settled for the giant monster mouse thing, Pikachew, which she recognized from Pokeman... Also recommended to her by Jericho.
Seems like the red dragon had started her on a path of no return.
"I'm ready!" She stared at the screen as the game started, and started button smashing like a real button smashing pro.

Grinning to the girls, Jericho started up the match and picked out a basic arena for them to play in before beginning to attempt to lay the smackdown on Lizzy.
His game was pretty sloppy actually and he ended up giving himself a couple accidental deaths. But even so, he had a bit of the upper hand against Lizzy's random button mashing, seeing how this wasn't the sort of fighting game where button mashing was really all that good of a tactic.
In the end, he turned out to be the victor.
"Whew. That was kind of close," he grinned before looking towards the others, "Think you got the basics there?"

It went by so quickly for the ghoul she barely had time to attempt to look to her own controller to see now they were both using these things. What she did grasp was the fact that they moved their own characters on the screen. They controlled movements using the stick and buttons... and there were rounds! At first it kinda looked like one was going to demolish the other, but Jericho's character kept dying. Both, actually; Jericho did find himself being the winner regardless though.
Think I'm understandin' this...yeah. She was keen to try it out herself; those tiny SkeeV critters. Just them fighting it out with not a care in the world.

"I have no excuse for my poooooor performance today," She pouted when the game finished; her character had been pulverized. She didn't even stand a chance of winning from the get-go! Perhaps luck wasn't on her side tonight... That or random button mashing was bad.
"Shall we start a new round for Levi to join in then?" She suggested with a light chuckle, looking up at Jericho before looking at Levi, "And hopefully, both of us will do better this time round!"

"Yeah I wasn't doing so hot myself, but let's just consider that a warm up," Jericho grinned before nodding to the two. Once the character select screen was up, he went on and chose the same character and waited for the others to choose.
"Oh yeah. Pick out who you want and press A," he told Levi.
Once the girls were all set, he went to the stage select and started the match.

"A warm up... I'll take that," She chuckled lightly before turning her attention back to the screen as a new game was started. Like Jericho, she selected the same character as before, not wishing to go through the character selection process all over again. She then waited for Levi to make her choice; when the game started, Lizzy decided to not button mash as much in an attempt to do better.
It worked. Sort of.

Levi mistakenly pressed the A button on the first character her p3 highlight was hovered over. It didn't really matter about the appearance of the character, she figured, so long as her buttons were thoroughly smashed by her fingers (according to Lizzy's gameplay). Once Jericho initiated the scene for battle, she had at the controller.
Arching her back and bringing her shoulders up, you'd swear the ghoul went into a stalking posture almost. Her fingers mashed against the buttons and she scrolled the stick both ways sporadically. The chaos method? It seemed to be working...

Jericho didn't know what was with his game today but he did pretty damn terrible for this round as well. In fact, Levi had kind of demolished both himself and Lizzy.
"Well damn. Not bad for your first game ever," he grinned at the girl. Though, he was beating himself a little internally for slipping up like that.. especially with the way she was button mashing. He was going to need to step up for serious.
"Let's have another round, shall we?"

"BUTTON MASH!" She laughed at how Levi managed to beat both herself and Jericho, using such a method... Oh her first try too! A small part of her was kind of upset, but she was happy about the ghoul picking up on the game so quickly.
"I'm always up for a round 2!" She grinned, focusing on the screen yet again.

A low hiss (of enjoyment?) came from within her throat and through her teeth in a smile at the win over the two veterans. At Jericho's offer of a challenge, she happily accepted. Yer on!
The BUTTON MASHING!!!!!!!!! continued- Levi began to see herself in the game. So many moves were being made that she herself could actually perform. Without realizing it, the round ended- and both other characters were down.

Jericho frowned as he was again pretty much demolished by the senseless mashings. Levi shouldn't be doing so well with that tactic.. but she was. He was really kind of disappointed at himself for it.
"Well..." He said, not entirely certain if he should suggest another round. His pride could only take so much damage.

"Well, I say we eat cookies," She placed the controller on the floor and got into a kneeling position, reaching out to ruffle the dragon's hair before shuffling backwards and then crossing her legs again, "That's enough gaming for a day~ Let's talk about something else! Like..."
She paused, looking from Levi to Jericho and then back at Levi again before she smiled, as if she just thought of something, "Ah! Like prom! Did that boil - uh, Rex? - ask to escort you to prom yet? He looked like he was considering it over groanspring... Such an odd boil he is!"

Levi reached out after Lizzy began rustling the boils hair. She offered her hand in more of a clutch position than a shake, addressing it to Jericho. Good game, Jericho. Don't know how ta 'xplain that none ta somebody but- was fun as hell! Lookin' forward ta usin' some 'a those moves in real fights! She smiled; her offering was out of respect as she knew just how boils' egos worked. She was sure the game had given him enough of a beating in that sense; she didn't have to headlock him right now. Wait- did that in game already too, actually...
Addressing Lizzy, the tatzel ghoul shook her head with a bit of a chuckle. Nah, Demi dun wanna come outta his hole, 'pparently. Seems hes yella ta' goin' ta a prom. What a pup. She was only mildly putting Demi down for his reaction via groanspring to her trying to force him into a new experience. What did the hound have to lose by going? So... yeah. Rex is too much'a scaredy cat, 'guess.
