Lucas- 6th year Gryffindor
Lucas thought for a moment, he couldn't really think of anything interesting to say.
"My name's Lucas, Gryffindor 6th year, and...well I'd love to learn more about the planets in Divination, and being able to have Divination as a practical use. Not necessarily See things all the time, but have more than just a basic understanding of it. Uhm...I play about 10 different musical instruments, ((not irl)) including the harp, guitar, clarinet, piano, trumpet, violin, cello, drums...I love learning new things."
He shrank back into his chair wishing he had something more interesting to say.

Blaine pushed the trap door open as she cursed herself for being late. Again. C'mon, Shaela. You're a second year now. You know the castle well enough to not be late to every single class again. She took a seat on the outskirts of the circular room as Helen finished introducing herself. She took a deep breath as Lucas started speaking, knowing she would have to go next. "I'm sorry about being late, Professor," Blaine said as she started to blush. "I woke up really late and had to run here to make it on time. Not used to school times yet, I suppose," She added with a small smile. "Uh, My name is Blaine Aldaron and I'm a second year. I hope to learn more about finding the meaning of dreams, and my random fact is that I can play guitar," she said as an afterthought, barely remembering they had to state those things.

 I knew know my life sucked...Hard. He toned out everything she had said until his name was mentioned and he turned his head nonchalantly towards the Professor.As he listened...he did start to feel kind of bad. "Of course....I am um,sorry professor."He said with a slight sigh although not really taking to much of this....guilt into factor. "But this is just god damn fricking ridiculous.I have to show up and actually do something knowledgeable that will enrich my education...That is a load of bull."

Divination Professor  “Excellent. You see, each one of you have your own special talents and stories. And I cannot stress to you enough to importance of unity and peace amongst the houses of Hogwarts.” Professor Aludra wringed her wand in her hands, it was her first day on the job and was still a little bit nervous. She nodded towards Kyle at the sound of his apology, maybe the boy wouldn’t be so bad after all. Since the students had been so kind to tell her about themselves that it was only justified that she do the same. “As for myself, my full name is Aludra Yvette and this is my first year as a professor. As for what I would like to learn in this classroom, I would very much like to learn more about you all. My random fact is I am a metamorphmagus meaning I can change my appearance at will without the use of a spell or potion. Now that our introductions are out of the way I’m afraid that’s all I planned for the day. Since it is still so early in the lesson I will assign a short homework assignment, when you are done please hand it in. After your all finished you’ll be free to leave! Be sure to come back to class bright and early Monday morning for a full assignment.” This wasn’t so bad for a first lesson. She wanted to get done a little early so that she had time to plan her next few lessons ahead of time. Aludra turned on the spot and waved her wand at the board once more and the lesson plans had erased themselves. In their place was written the homework assignment reading: ‘Write a paragraph or two describing your most fondest memory at Hogwarts. Turn in your papers at the front of the class.’ Aludra sat down at her own round table and summoned a mound of papers including plans of lessons to come and worksheets for a later time in the classes progress; she would work on this until all of her students have left. Also for those who had not bothered to show, she would deal with them with the help of the headmistress.

Lucas walked up to the Professor at the end of class and asked; "Erm...Professor? Even though I'm a 6th year, I'm new to Hogwarts, so I don't exactly have many memories of it yet, is it alright if I just talk about my first few days here or something?"
He certainly loved Hogwarts, but he didn't exactly have many 'fond memories' of it yet. Judging by how kind people had been so far, though, he knew that he would soon have quite a couple.

Divination Professor Aludra nodded her head. “Yes, that’s fine Lucas. As long it is about you and Hogwarts you’re sure to get full marks.” She gave him a smile before going back to her paperwork. Such thoughtful students this year! And so intelligent. Asking questions first before going straight into the assignments… she would have to reward them for their good deeds if they kept up the good work.

"Great, thank you, Professor!" He said before he walked out of the classroom. He'd talk about the train ride...the amazing common room...everything here was fantastic. He knew he'd find something to write about, at least the few paragraphs required, or more. One thing he loved best about Hogwarts was his friends...Fionna...but he obviously couldn't make his paper about his new friend, he'd sound obsessed with her or something..no, mustn't appear like he loved her or something, he was a nothing. He shoved the thought from his mind as he left the classroom, but there was no denying he wished they were more than just friends.

Helen was unsure of what to write. She'd only transferred here since her own school closed down. She did like Hogwarts, but she wished that she could go back home...She decided to write a paragraph about the Hufflepuff dorms, and how delighted she was to be drifting off to sleep every night with the smell of food cooking wafting in from the hallway. She got up and left the classroom, noticing she was one of the first - was her paper enough? She hoped so...

Ami shyly walked up to the front of the room, where the Professor was sitting. In a demure voice she asked, "Um, Professor? I was just wondering, how should I give the assignment to you (( pm or post?)) And also..." she spoke in an even softer voice as she fidgeted with her bangs, "Do you have...the...umm....sight? Is that what they call it? The inner eye?" Why am I always so shy around adults? I sound like like an idiot! she thought to herself."And sorry Professor for not introducing myself along with the class, I was busy ((I was busy in real life srry sad )) reading my textbook. So ummm....my full name is Amelia Chang, but people call me Ami. I would like to learn about predicting...my grandma was a seer and I thought it would be cool to see how she did it. And uh...the random fact would be...my parents own the third largest magical items/clothing company in the wizarding world...so yeah..."

Divination Professor Aludra looked up from her papers and smiled at the girl. She seemed to be fidgeting a whole lot, messing with her bangs and stammering through her sentence; she had to repress the urge to gather the young girl up into a hug. “Ami, that’s a very pretty name. Just set your paper down on the desk (PM) and I’ll grade it later. As for you other question, the term is called ‘The Inner Eye’. Any witch or wizard who posses that rare gift is called a Seer. I, myself, am not a Seer but I have always had a fascination for Divination. Non-Seers can learn Divination methods but our success in them varies.”
“That’s very interesting, if your grandmother was a Seer perhaps you will have inherited a natural talent for this. And I will be sure to buy products from your parents company in the future if I haven’t already.” The professor gave her a little smile and continued back to her paper work. Just a few hundred more pages and she would be done.

((Just to remind you students, I do actually expect homework to be done in this class! Meaning you must PM it to me on gaia, if you don’t give my homework I WILL take away points from your house. And I'm going to talk to the headmistress so that if you are inactive in my class, I can take away even MORE points! >:} ))

Blaine tried not to fidget at Professor Aludra's incorrect grammar. She didn't want to seem stuck up by correcting the professor. She quickly did the assignment and turned it in, barely managing to keep her mouth shut about the incorrect grammar. She left quickly, pushing her hair out of her eyes again.

((For future reference I will eat out your heart and take Gryffindor off the map if you say something like this again. :3 It is just the way I am used to speaking irl so naturally this little tart will have it. Not to mention English isn't her first language so, Haha valid excuse.))
