Lizzy's face lit up when Levi walked out in her current dress. She looked the ghoul over a few times before nodding, clapping her hands together excitedly, "I love it! Do you feel comfortable in it?" Finally, one that she approved off! Not too showy, and the colors suited Levi as well! Sure, the dress was a little on the plain side, but she should be able to fix that if Levi is agreeable to it!
"Jove...? Are you alright?" She couldn't help asking when he seemed nervous all of a sudden, reaching out to gently ruffle his hair, wondering what might be the cause of his distress. When he quickly recovered and put on the button up over his own shirt, however, she smiled a little; maybe he was just being shy?
Bending down, she helped him button the shirt all the way down before tugging on the fabric of the left sleeve, folding it until Jove's fingers could be seen. She then pinned it down before doing the same for the right sleeve, holding out Jove's arms and making sure both sides were of equal length. She then smiled, "Thanks for holding still! Now for the jacket~"
Taking the jacket that had previously caused the poor boil to itch, she held it up in such a manner that it would allow him to just slip his arms into the sleeves to wear it.

The attendants both eased. Lizzy seemed to be the one calling the shots when it came to their dress choices, so they knew that this was a good call when the pink-haired ghoul nodded. Despite one being a little more unnerved at the other for having picked the correct dress, they were happy to claim some commission. "Miss? Would you like to change back then?" Levi scurried back into the dress room when summoned and the dress came off relatively quickly compared to the others. Stepping back out in her regular clothing, attendants at her heels, the winning attendant spoke. "Well, I can wrap this up for you then if you'll want to be taking it?" Nodding in approval, as per Lizzy's reaction, Levi patted at the silver seeds in her pocket while walking over to the front register. Right there, one attendant held the dress over her arm and began wrapping it carefully in black tissue paper on the counter before placing it in a black box. She sealed the sides with stickers sporting the same typeface as the sign outside the storefront. All the while, attendant #2 was typing away at numbers on the register till she told Levi the grand total.
Yeah. She was still surprised. With her background, the ghoul had expected this to be costly as she'd been warned about city living, but not to this extent. She emptied out her pockets with everything she had including the funds she'd intended to use for extras like shoes or her lunch. It seemed to be enough (thank Jack...), but she'd have to call back home and let them know just how expensive the city had been. Both attendants gave a sigh of relief that it was over as did Levi at the fact that she no longer had to be man handled in the dressing room.
Graciously being handed the box over the counter in a large black bag (same typface again marking it), Levi took the strap ribbons and placed them over her shoulder. Heading back over to Jove and Lizzy once the job was done a thought came into her head again. Dun gather they'd let me wear ma flip flops with tha dress, eh? Shoes- shoes and anything else that might be required was out of her budget now.

The little pup huffed. Of course he was alright! Not nervous or frightened at all, there was nothing wrong at all! He maintained a serious face as Lizzy helped him with the buttons, all the while reminding himself that this is what ghouls were best at, hugging and cuddling and doing things he was perfectly capable of doing for himself. It seemed to make her happy, so he obliged and let her help.
But he was still only a pup, and it became a real struggle for Jove to stand still long enough for Lizzy's fiddling. He didn't know why she was putting pins and whatnot in it, and was wanting to try on something else.
So by the time she held out the jacket he was already pulling off the shirt, and wagging his tail at Levi.

"Oh, shoes! Shoes are important, yes!" She nodded at Levi with a smile; and shoes are a ghoul's best friend... Together with other ghouly things that had started to flood her head - like flowers and love and- Oh right, back to shoes. She looked at Levi's feet with a thoughtful expression before looking back up at her with a sheepish smile.
"Good shoes are not cheap... I would lend you mine, but I'm afraid we have different shoe sizes," Her feet were rather small, which made sense, given how petite (do not use short) she was, "What do you think about heels? Or should we get you some nice flats?" She had a feeling Levi might go with the latter though.
"Oh, Jove! Alright, I get it! Go take off the pants too, and we can try on more clothes, alright?" She was trying to use an exasperated tone to get him to stop taking the jacket off, but ended up giggling at the boil instead. After shaking her head, she ruffled his hair and waved for an attendant, passing the jacket and then button up shirt to her, "Please alter these and wrap them up... The pants too, once Jove is done taking them off."

I'll git ta callin' back home... erm... can't be buyin' 'em right now...
She'd worn both before and did prefer to wear flats when possible. It wasn't too big of a deal but overall moves were just easier when you had the full base of your foot to use. Flat ones would be good.
Well whatcha doin' thar, boil? She put both hands on her hips then and grinned at Jove. The ghoul recognized a happy tail when she saw one and had to smile at his pup-like behavior; certainly reminded her of another head-strong pup she knew at the moment. Gotta make sure tha thing fits right or ya'll be squirmin' all night. Pins'll help fer markin' tha sizin' This was something she knew from her Ma's ability to adjust and repair her mangled clothing once she'd worn them down. Plopping down into a nearby leathery seat, she sat forward with her bag sitting on the floor between her feet so she could watch the two. The ghoul could help with any moral support the two might need, but stylistically, she was out for the count. Her man-handling session was done for the day.

Jove started to dart back to the dressing room to change back into his regular clothes, but he paused when he overheard Lizzy talking to the attendant. Then he twirled on his heels and ran back, putting both hands on the clothes, and shaking his head.
Aside from already having fancy formal clothes back at his dorm, courtesy of his caretaker, he didn't have any money on him. And he had been taught about money and it's value almost as early as he had been taught to read. He couldn't get something if he didn't have anything to give! The little ghostling was happy enough to just try on the clothes, he didn't have to take them home too.
Jove gave the attendant a final, worried little shake of the head, and then gave Lizzy and Levi an apologetic look before trotting back to the dressing room.

"Flats it is then!" She grinned, "I'm sure we can find something, uh, affordable." It looked like the dress had burnt a giant hole in her wallet already! She smiled as the ghoul went ahead and sat down before turning her attention back to the pup, confused at his actions.
"You don't like them...?" She wasn't sure what Jove was suddenly so upset over, but she had already pretty much decided on getting him those clothes... Besides, she had already pinned up the sleeves and it would be rude to not but them at this point, "It's fine! You look dashing in those clothes... That's reward enough for me." She giggled before nodding at the attendant to go ahead and alter the clothing to fit Jove.

Jove seemed to disapprove of Lizzy's choice to have the outfit tailored for him. Huh? He didn't want her to have it wrapped... was this because he didn't like it? Something told her no, that wasn't the case. She watched as the pup went back into his dressing room and looked to Lizzy.
The demoness had already made the choice on the pup's behalf, Levi realized. She would have the outfit wrapped for him regardless while he was changing. Clever ghoul...
Sounds like 'a plan...? She wasn't sure what to make of Lizzy's expressive "affordable." Levi raised a brow in confusion.

Jove pulled off the layers of fancy clothing and returned to his regular state of dress. It had been fun dressing up but it was always nice to go back to his cozy, worn clothes. He would rather snuggle down to read a book in that warm sweater than the fancy jacket any day.
When he finished he handed the clothes to the attendant, unaware that Lizzy had already countermanded his request. Then it was onto the next fun thing! Shoes for Levi? Maybe while they got shoes, he could find some more clothing to wear.
His tail wagged as he rejoined the ghouls.

"Don't worry, I'll get your shoes for you, but I'll need your shoe size," She gestured at her feet with a small smile, "Do you have it, or do you need to measure them?" She wasn't sure if she should go to a shoe store later just to get measurements to be safe, but if Levi knows her shoe size, it would make things easier.
When Jove came back, the attendants were already gone, off to wrap up the clothing as they had been instructed to; one of them even picked up the clothes Jove had changed out off in order to alter and the wrap them up for the boil.
"Hmm, up for some dress up, Jove?" She giggled before looking at Levi, and then back at Jove again, "They have plenty of costumes on the second floor!" Besides, altering clothes take time!

As Jove returned, the tatzel got up out of her seat. She patted him on the shoulder to indicate good work as he'd dressed up rather quickly.
In regards to shoe size, Levi was indeed able to give Lizzy her size. Since they made their own shoes, the elderly tatzel granmoonies were able to define her sizes as she grew through these numbers. This was most likely what Lizzy was talking about, right? The sandals she wore were Size 10. She nodded to confirm that this was her size.
Costumes? Well sure. If they were going to wait for the alterations anyways, there was no harm in Jove trying more things on. If he wanted to do so, that is. Sound like'a plan, Jove?

Dress up? Jove's ears perked, wasn't that what they were doing already? His tail wagged as Levi patted his shoulder, and he nodded for the ghouls. He would love to go wear more things, maybe find some comfortable sweaters... Or a hat. The pup didn't wear hats that often because they often bothered his ears, but he did like to try them on!
He wagged his tail a little bit more, then turned and trotted off to go see what else the store had to look at.

"Size 10... Got it!" She smiled at Levi, "Maybe you would like to find clothes for Jove too? He seems to like dressing up!" She couldn't help giggling at that.
Allowing Jove to explore the store on his own while keeping an eye out on him to try to minimize the chances of him getting lost, she started to walk around the shop, grabbing a couple of things here and there. She even went to the second floor to... Take a fancy pirate hat, complete with a giant feather and an eye patch?
"Jove, you want to try this on?" There was a huge grin on her face as she held up the fancy pirate hat in one hand, and several fancy pirate clothing in the other, all in the boil's size; she was sort of thinking of Foxfire minipets... Even if she didn't know that Jove was a Foxfire. The fact that he was adorable, with those fluffy ears and tail, was enough to remind her of those fluffy minipets.

Unlike Jove, Levi drew a blank when Lizzy mentioned picking out outfits. This had been evident in her own failed attempt to find a suitable dress for herself. She didn't want to give up on Jove, however. The pup seemed to enjoy this sort of thing, so Levi followed Lizzy's previously mentioned idea and went up the stairs to the second level.
What sort of things should Jove try?
Cringing momentarily, she tried to put herself in a boil's shoes. What would a boil like to wear? Something “sleek”?...
Returning to the two, the tatzel held up a pair of chaps, a leather vest, a white shirt with a loosely buttoned neckline and a black cowboil hat. An attendant immediately spotted Levi then actually handling clothing and walked over. Nodding at her choice, she offered to find something for the pup to go along with the outfit. “We have some fabulous leather boots to go with that costume! If you like, I can find them in your size.” This one had a good handle on shoe fitting, it seemed?...
Aye, Jove. Whaddaya think ‘bout this? Pretty sleek, eh? She didn’t know if it was or wasn’t but at least the style was familiar to her. She smiled at the pup like she was confident of her choice's appeal to boils.

Jove's ears swivelled towards Lizzy, followed by his full attention, and then his tail wagged. He did want to try that on! He trotted over and took the hat, putting it on happily. He had never worn such a fancy hat!
Without taking it off his head, Jove turned to look at what Levi was offering him. And then his head began to tilt in confusion. Why did those pants only have legs? It didn't seem very... practical. He slowly wandered over, puzzling all the way, and settled for taking the cowboy hat. That looked fun, he never saw hats like that back at his caretaker's home. Or like the pirate hat for that matter. Just top hats and the like.
He took off the pirate hat and reached up to put it on Levi's head, before plunking the cowboy hat on his own. It was a bit too big and rested down over his eyes, with his little ears sticking out the bottom. Was that how it was supposed to be worn?
