Jacob paused a moment, before walking fast but not quite running to keep up with Ikuto and Steffy yet still within range of Nate.

Steffy frowns at Ikuto, then starts to run faster to catch up. "No fair! You have longer legs than me!"

Wondering why they were in such a rush to get to cake, Nate continued along, lingering further and further behind them. When he finally arrived at the store, everyone was already inside. He shrugged and slipped into line with them.

"Wow. I didn't know you guys could run so fast..." said Jacob as he took deep breaths when they arrived at the bakery.

Steffy staggers a little in the line, feeling a little dizzy. "Ahhh... I'm never gonna run like that again..." she mutters, shaking her head.

Nathan rolled his eyes as he joined them, hardly winded. But then again, he hadn't run like the messenger from the battle of Marathon. "Gimme a break Steff, we ALL know that you'll do it again the next time they have Carrot Cake."
