Tybalt made a face at the she-wolf's request. Nice? With Ren? For newbies? How was he supposed to do that? ESPECIALLY AFTER THAT!
Tybalt glared at Ren as he called him something other than his actual name--again! And again when he was pushed off the table so that the gryphon could do... something...?
......
What was he planning now..?
BAM!
Just when he was about to get a look at what Ren was writing, the gryphon turned around and slapped it to his forehead!
"You a*****e!" Tybalt snarled glaring at anyone who dared to laugh before he peeled the tag off as quickly as it had been placed. He was about to tear it up when an even better idea came to mind! Much better~
Waiting until Ren was distracted with the newcomers, Tybalt quietly walked up behind Ren and slapped the very same name tag that Ren had 'given' him directly on his back and right between his wings.
Good luck getting that off!
Satisfied, he turned back to the others. "Fish?" Tybalt asked confused; staring directly at the swamp dragon before it finally dawned on him. "Hah hah! I like this guy!" He said with a wide grin. Hoisting himself back up onto the table to make himself comfy again. Only to end up shrugging a little at LW and offer her a weak smile.
"Err, maybe a little. I'm still pretty new to this whole video game thing myself." He admitted.

Moure's Kart was probably leaving a tornado of dust in it's trail as it, already at a relatively fast speed, managed to also get a speed boost.
What could he say? He was a born racer.
That and he, you know, actually had experience with the game.
Edel had taken a seat nearby, and he watched her pick and start out of the corner of his eye. Also watching her character on the map, he was surprised when the Kart she was using sped to the speed he'd started at. With a bit of a laugh he said, "Are you sure you've never played this? You're doing great." He was actually kind of proud even. Toggling with his controllers again, he evaded things on the track, expertly do so even as he was talking to those around him. His Skeloshi Kart had been a good choice, apparently.
On his other side, the shadowmancer(?) Winona had picked Boouigi and was chugging along at a good pace, not too fast or too slow. "Are you guys sure you've never played? You seem pretty good for beginners." He said, more of in general to whoever was playing along with him. Sure, his cart was WAY in front, but that's just how Moure was. He WAS built for speed, after all.
((ROLLING FOR MOURE'S BONUS (AND THIRD SINCE WE WON'T BE ABLE TO MAKE IT TO THREE OTHERWISE) ROLL. Number Rolled in Third/Bonus Roll: 8 Number Rolled in Second Roll: 10 Number rolled in First Roll: 9

The she-wolf giggled. She liked this boil. He would be a fun one to have around. And, after watching him for a few minutes while the race was on, he'd make an excellent racing buddy. At his question, the she-wolf shrugged. "If never losing to anyone classifies you as an 'amazing' racer, then Ren fits the title." LW could at least claim she didn't suck at the game. She just couldn't beat Ren. "And I'm sure you'll love it here." She added with another of her smiles. "Well then, Moure, I expect to see your name in our club members soon!"
With one experienced racer at the controls, it seemed to give the others that weren't quite so sure on how to play an idea of how the game worked. LW watched as Winona and the ghoul named Edel plopped down to give it a go. Giving those still standing on the sidelines a warm look, LW spoke to them. "Go on and get in there! It's alright if you don't this time around. I promise we'll have more races."
LW swore, if the two boils ended up trashing the booth, she would kick both their furry asses. After she was done laughing at the two. Obviously, Tybalt and Ren could NOT behave well together. Why this should surprise LW was beyond her. She gave them both a look, but when Tybalt sneakily slapped the nametag on Ren's back, of course she laughed even more. Hey! She'd had to get the same nametag-to-forehead treatment too! Tybalt was just meaner and got Ren back. The she-wolf snickered and moved out of the way to lean against the table to black dog sat on. "Do ya? Sweet. Tybalt likes you so guess that means we'll have to try and recruit you for the club!" LW gave the dragon boil a sweet smile.
"Clearly, Ren and I need to educate you in the art of Scario Kart racing." The she-wolf told Tybalt in as serious a tone she could manage. Which was not serious at all.
((Yes! It is alright to roll after myself or kuro has posted. Also, if you didn't make it for this game or aren't able to roll all three times, that is alright! We have more races planned ;3 ))

A little nervous laugh escaped the gryphoness at the interaction between Ren and Tybalt. She couldn't believe for a moment that some how she had thought they were a couple. But there was more excitement going on in the scariokart gaming contest.
Tahki took a seat on one of the pillows and folded her legs Indian style and watched the other students go at it. Partly she was avoiding any conflict and partly she was curious about these new faces. Gaming wasn't something that was new to the ghoul but when it involved someone sitting right next to you that wasn't online it was just all the more exciting.
"You guys are good," She gave Edel, Moure and Winona a thumbs up.

Haze stared blankly at Tybalt. "What? Didn't you say--?" Oh this was hurting his brain. At least he was making friends...he was, right?
What was with all the drama? Was it really that bad that he had not seen or heard of these video games? Little did he know they were playing around with him. "What? Is it bad? Will I die?" He asked the gryphon boil, and the wolf ghoul. But he just got out of the swamp the other day! Was this the price for leaving? Scratching at his skin again, he stared at the two in horror. What was it they were going to show him? Did he even want to see? Oh Jack! He was not prepared for this!
Oh.. It was a game, but in some form of box. "Whoa! How did you get those people in there!?" He asked, nearly blocking out the view of the screen for whoever was playing. How did they feed them? Was this even possible?

Nekhbet strutted in with a superior look upon her face, she was aware how late she was, and that she had missed the first game. However that didn't seem to phase the mummy girl as her eyes scanned over the booth and various other students playing. Quickly catching sight that each one had a small orange paper stuck to them with scribbles on it. Pondering for a moment Ned decided it must be the newest fashion and quickly scribbled her name on a nearby paper and stuck it up on her upper left arm. Nek was not familiar with any of the other students in the area but that didn't stop her. A queen was never to be ignored. "I have arrived." She proudly boasted with a grin watching how focused the various students where on the games ahead of her.

Ren clapped his good hand onto Moure's shoulder, grinning at the patchwork. "Good man, good man," he said cheerfully. "Anyone who loves Scario Kart as much as LW and I is totally welcome. Even those who don't know what it is - " And here he offered a pointedly amused glance at Haze " - is still totally welcome."
Studiously ignoring the black dog's outraged squawk, Ren smirked at Tybalt, giving him an I'm so innocent gesture. "Hey, it's a good nametag! Fits you quite perfectly, dontcha think?"
He dodged the exasperated look from LW, stepping past the students who were already playing and moved back over to the newest arrival, a bandaged ghoul. "Welcome!" Ren said cheerfully, eyes moving to the nametag...except he couldn't read it, and after a second of squinting he shook his head, holding out his hand to the ghoul. "The name's Ren," he said brightly, and grinned. "Welcome to the Scario Kart booth! Please, sit down, have fun. We're all racing right now, so feel free to hop in!"
Ren turned back to Haze, lifting a brow. "It seems as if you are, er...a tad more...inexperienced than we first believed," he said dryly, gently dragging the dragon away from the skelevision set and promptly pushing him down in front of an unused one, settling beside him.
"Here," Ren said, and handed him a controller, taking one for himself. He flicked on the Scaresation and threw a wink at LW. "This is how you play..."

Well? She was doing . . . well?
For all of Halloween Town, Moure's compliment might as well been the highest praise possible, the way her pink eyes lit up.
Then again, the others might quickly notice how easy it would be to keep her spirits up - just as Ren's and LW's easygoing natures had managed to get her warming up to video games, despite having never touched one before today.
Maybe things wouldn't be so bad.
So she kept holding down the gas button and braked only when a turn was thrown at her, a shadow of a smile on her lips. Or maybe it was a full on smile. Kinda hard to tell with the hood and the hair in the way.
"S-So . . . how long have you guys been playing?" she asked the general lot there, assuming they all (minus Haze) had had experience - well for sure the patchwork boil and the booth students. "Is this a-a sport?"

While Moure had been racing, it seemed LW had started watching them. And it seemed she approved of his ability, fortunately. He noticed her shrug, and gave a brief nod to her response. "I see...I think I'd classify that as amazing. I'll have to challenge him to a race sometime..." Racing someone who had never been beaten, at least from LW's knowledge, sounded like a good challenge. And Moure thought he'd like going against such good competition. When she mentioned that he's love it at the Academy and that she hoped to see his name on the membership list, the patchwork runner gave a grin and said, "I certainly hope so. This place is already better then were I'm coming from. And you can count on me signing up as soon and I'm officially able to." He took a moment to give her a thumbs-up, then dove back into driving.
"So, will you or Ren going to race here at the booth sometime? During one of these games?" He asked the were-wolf, flicking his attention between watching the two girls who'd taken to playing on either side of him, the screen, and LW. It seemed the beginners were figuring out how to play pretty well, and he noticed them watching how he played to figure out some of the controls. Moure felt good that he could help through example. After all, that meant he was still helping people. (And helping people meant survival to the patchwork boil, after all.)
The other gryphon, the ghoul with a lighter color scheme, quietly mentioned that they were doing well, and gave them a thumbs-up. This didn't escape Moure's attention, and he nodded back. "Thanks. You're a student right?" The lack of visitor's pass usually meant that, anyway. "So, are you in the club, or were you just passing by?"
And then the glowstick boil, Haze(?), was looking at the screen at a really close distance. Moure kind of just stared in slight shock, somehow managing to still guide his Kart just from knowing the course.
Ren seemed like he'd be good competition, and a good captain for the club too. After all, he seemed pretty friendly, and had patted Moure on the shoulder a few times. (That was...normal, right? Not many people had patted him on the shoulder before...) At his cheerful statement, Moure gave a nod. "Awesome. I'll be sure to come join once I'm official. Oh, and LW mentioned that you're a great racer, so we'll have to have a race sometime, alright?" Of course Moure would be talking about this in his first conversation with the club leader.
Luckily, then the gryphon led the confused Haze(?) away from the screen. Moure could have been alright for a while longer on this course (he was a serious gamer, after all), but at least now the two beginners around him could actually see.
Winona seemed especially excited when he mentioned she was doing well, at least from what the patchwork boil could see of her face. When she asked how long they'd been playing, Moure actually had to pause and think about it. He'd always been a runner in real life, but when had he actually found Scario Kart... "Probably since I found out about it when it came out." That was the best answer Moure could give at this exact moment. He couldn't really remember the date or how long it'd been, but he remembered seen an advertisement for the game when he'd been running an errand for Dr. Cphira a long time back. It had to have been a while, at least. When she asked if it was a sport, Moure gave ahalf of a head shake. "Well, it's used in some contests or competitions, but I'm not sure if it could be called an official sport, unless the Academy has a different outlook on that..." He looked to the Club Leaders for their opinion on this, though. After all, he didn't know if the Academy had some weird stance on Scario Karting that made it elegible for a sport standing.
(I thought the game ended eariler, so I'm not rolling...?)

★All racers have reached the Finish Line!★ LW decided that Ren could educate the poor dragon boil in what games were and how they worked. Like how the little people got on the Skelevision! She also didn't point out or make any attempt to pull the nametag now stuck to Ren's back off. Alright so she was being a brat. Ren could get her back later. At the moment, he was welcoming a new ghoul that LW hadn't seen before (no surprise there) and when she narrowed her eyes to look at the nametag, the she-wolf poked at Tybalt. "Dude. Can you read that?" She whispered to the black dog.
Since Ren was busy with the dragon, LW watched the other racers while she joined Tybalt, sitting on the table for the booth. "Alright racers! Nicely done! Race one is now over." She called out cheerfully, giving them all a small round of applause. "You guys are awesome. And, of course, we want to show you how awesome. Let's see...who was our winner for this round?" Why yes, she had been keeping track, even if she'd been teasing Ren and sitting with her canine counterpart. "Looks like Moure is the winner of this race!"

((Did you want me to include him actually claiming one of the prizes, or just me OOC claiming it? If you want it IC, it's the last paragraph. If not, just disregard that paragraph, alright? l'D;;; ))As the race was announced to be finished, Moure looked at the screen. More specicially at the map on the side of the screen. And how far ahead he'd been. (Half way around the course from the Boouigi (so that was Winona, right?) and a two-thirds around the course in comparison to Edel's character.)
Well, he was the only one who had experience this race, wasn't he? As LW announced that they were awesome, and gave them a round of applause, Moure looked over to the Werewolf and actually focused his attention on her as opposed to the game. When she announced he'd won, he gave a grin and thumbs-up to everyone in general. Racing was is thing, after all. To his opponents he said with a head nod, "You guys did great. Much better then normal beginners."
~~~
Moure realized they'd been playing for prizes with a few blinks, looking at the offered prizes. (He actually hadn't realized there would be prizes. He just liked racing.) He looked between the dark and blue ball to the tan-ish 'firefox' (That was their first-form, right?). "Hmmm...either one?" He murmured, then slowly picked up the blue and black orb (aka the Hector). That looked promising, right? "Thank you."(( My username is Trira and I'd like the Hector. o u o Thanks for the game!))
Oddly, Whinn was feeling a small exhilaration run through her at the end of the race. Her first time playing a video game, and she was second! Second! Despite lacking Tenebrae, her excitable familiar, she could almost visualize his reaction: running amok between the visitors and students, yipping about his reaper's victory with shining glory far beyond what a shadow creature should be capable of. And then he'd run right back to the people petting him the most, tail a'wagging.
Winona giggled a little at the imagery, watching with no hard feelings as Moure was awarded his prize. While she was not quite able to hear everything the patchwork runner said, she got the gist - and her confidence once more got a boost. Between him, Edel, LW, Ren, and the White Gryphon (whom she noticed belatedly had given them a thumbs up for their efforts), why, she might actually be able to fully calm down and not be so nervous about meeting other students!
A long-shot, but if simple praise could do this much for her, who knew? She was eating up every kind word she could find.
"Good match!" she found herself saying at an actually relatively normal volume. And then just as quickly her mouth was shut.
Though she did plan on sticking around! So far luck seemed to be eyeing her speculatively, and that was far better than normal.
Jove had run from the library all the way to his dorm, and gathered up an arm full of... wisps, before dashing back out to where the student club booths had been set up. He must have been quite the sight trotting around with ears perked, arms full, until he saw the Scario Kart booth through the crowd. He wiggled between the taller bodies until he was able to stumble behind the booth, dropping the armload of fluffs on the ground near his brother, Ren.     The little ghostling gave the gryphon an apologetic face for having completely forgotten about the event, and then getting caught up in the excitement of new potential students traipsing around the school grounds. He didn't mean to be so negligent. He spared a short glance towards the rest of the students and newcomers who had been hanging around the booth, most of whom he wasn't familiar with. He might have seen one or two around the academy, but LW was a welcome face, as was Tybalt. However, judging from the look on the black dog's face, Ren had been harassing him again. When he glanced back up at his brother, it was with a long-suffering look.
When she had initially heard about the Open House, Tsetsiliya had considered going.. then batted the idea down. An Open House was for new students, wasn't it? Or those who were interested in Amityville? However it occurred to her that even though she had been at the school for a while, she hadn't really been the most active student. She had been interested in a few clubs, sure, but so far no meetings had convened for them.
What could it hurt to get out of her dorm room and see the student booths?
So here she was, pale eyes perusing booth after booth. A few familiar faces were scattered here and there, but none that she seemed to know too well. At last, the poludnica stumbled across a booth with a small but manageable crowd (the Fitness Club had much too large a group for her - she decided to cycle back to that one later, when the crowd had dispersed a little). The sight of the screens and the consoles in the hands of visiting boils and ghouls called to mind something familiar.. her mouth formed a small O as she recalled it.
It brought to mind her encounter with Jareth, where he'd introduced her to them. Needless to say, Tsetsiliya's curiosity was piqued. It didn't help matters that the two faces sitting behind the counter of the booth were not only familiar, but ones she felt rather comfortable around (given recent events, anyway). Her hand curled in a small wave and she smiled at the she-wolf and gryphon.
"R-Ren, LW, it is being good to see you again!" It had really seemed like ages since her girl-time with LW and Alessa and much, much longer than that with Ren (something which caused a stab of guilt within her). However the table had already attracted a nicely-sized group - hopefully she wouldn't be too distracting for those who were trying to join the club. Instead she reached forward quietly, plucking a pen and a name tag from the table to scribble her name on it.
Haze was almost reluctant to be pulled away from the skelevision. He was stuck to it like a fly to crap. So fascinating! "But--!" Haze protested when relocated by the gryphon boil, gazing longingly at the skelevision in use. His attention was redirected to the controller offered to him, taking it into his hand he looked it over unsure of what to do with it. "What's this for?" He asked, rubbing his finger beneath his nose. As soon as the unused skelevision was switched on, the dragon's expression changed to a look of one who has had a little too much coffee--or just obsessed.
If it wasn't for his new found addiction, he would have noticed all the new people arriving. But no..His eyes were glued to the screen, almost expecting it to suddenly pull new tricks for him. He liked Scario Kart.
