Noj grunted, she wasn't falling for the act. "I'm sorry, but the person you're looking for isn't here, check back later." He rolled away slightly. admittedly rolling was a little painful, cause he still had his sword looped, to lazy to remove it, but meh. Standing up and shaking off all of the loose things wrapped around him...with a bit of difficulty, Noj was free. Running rough fingers through his messed up hair to smooth it down, he yawned, he really wasn't tired but meh. "So Princess, are you ready, or are you going to take three hours to get ready? If so I'll go back to sleep."

"Am I dressed? Coherent? Yes? Then I'm ready," she informed him, staring up at him with her hands on her hips. She thought about it for a moment and then shook her head. "I hope you were joking, because any woman that needs three hours to get ready should be taken out and beaten until she can learn to hurry it up," she added, moving to the window and peering out for a moment before picking her rumpled cloak off the floor. She didn't grumble at the wrinkles, just shook it out before wrapping herself in it once more.

Noj just chuckled at the woman for a moment, before readjusting his two cloaks, and, after removing the chair from the door, made his way to the stables. Light Dancer was a good enough horse to kick just about anyone beside him that tried to do squat with the warhorse, but it never hurt to check up on him, and he doubted the stable boy had the brass to brush of the rather intimidating large black horse, so Noj took it upon himself, after eating some stale bread from his pack. He expected Cellyn to actually eat breakfast, so he had plenty of time to finish brushing Light Dancer and saddle him up.

It seemed that the man wasn't going to eat breakfast, at least not with her, so Cellyn took a moment to braid her hair down her back before heading downstairs after Noj had already left. The common room wasn't as crowded as she had expected, but there were a few familiar and unfriendly faces from the night before. She sat down with a sigh and eyed the woman who sashayed up to her. "What'll it be, hun?" "Anything hot," Cellyn replied, doing her best to keep her eyes from going skyward in silent supplication. "And thick. I'll be traveling and I'd like something to fill me up. And a second order for when my friend returns," she added. If he ate it or not, it didn't matter to her. "Sure thing." The girl nodded, then waited a second before leaning down to Cellyn's level. "Was he good? The guy you spent the night with." "Th-that's none of your concern!" the woman replied heatedly, relieved that she didn't feel her face burning up. The serving girl merely stared at her for a moment before dancing away and Cellyn resisted the urge to drop her head on the table in exasperation. "I got something hot and thick for you, girly!" the man Noj had been fighting with the night before yelled at her from across the room. She ignored him, having heard worse during her travels, but he hooted again at her and she set her jaw.

After he finished saddling the horse, he patted Light Dancer on the neck. He didn't bother to untie him cause he never did. The horse was smart enough to come back to the stable if he got hungry and left to graze. It was odd but the horse was just about the only thing he felt kinship for at this point, then again the horse and he had been through a lot, he was a symbol that all the crazy things in his life weren't made up. Judging from the comments in the common room, Cellyn was downstairs and getting a warm reception. "I'll be out in a minute boy, so don't worry." He knew that animals couldn't really understand you, but for some reason he could swear this one did, and it didn't help that it was in a more mocking tone than not. Maybe Noj was just crazy. Whatever. Wandering back into the common room shut up a few people, and set others into little giggling stints. Noj hadn't exactly been subtle the previous night, even if nothing actually happened. Ah, life was good.

"I ordered you breakfast. Eat it or don't, I don't care," Cellyn said shortly, wishing the stupid girl would hurry up and bring it so they could leave already. "Having a lover's spat already? That was fast," the girl remarked, setting the bowls down on the table. It was lucky she got rid of them so fast, because the back of Cellyn's hand connected with her face hard enough to jerk her head the next moment. "Keep your filthy mouth out of my business," she ordered through set teeth, having had just enough of the crude comments. Just because she was used to them and could ignore them didn't mean she didn't care about them. The girl stared at her for a second, mouth open, before she turned red and stalked angrily off. Cellyn heaved a sigh and stared down at her food, which suddenly didn't seem very appetizing.

Noj raised an eyebrow as Cellyn smacked the girl, tutting a little. "It's not nice to hit people Princess, at least not when they don't deserve it." He flashed a grin at the man he diced with again. Glancing down at the gruel...ahh...stew, Noj lifted it and took a few gulps before putting it down. It was just the right shade of nasty that set one's mind alert, or something. "Anyway, I'm ready when you are, my horse is ready to go as we speak. Unless you feel like basking in the glowing atmosphere and dining on the delicacies."

"Maybe we can even do a little dance, too," she agreed with a thin smile, ignoring his comment about the girl. She took a few spoonfuls of the stew, making a face as she swallowed. She had asked for something to keep them full and, by the Maker, she didn't want to eat anything else for a week after tasting the stuff. Cellyn finished the stuff as fast as she could stomach it, leaving a few coins on the table as she stood up. "I just need to saddle my horse, that should only take a few minutes," she promised, gliding out the door before anyone could say another word. She retreated to the stable, where her mount was waiting patiently as usual. She handled the equipment easily and was ready to go in several minutes, as she had told Noj. Leading the gelding outside, she mounted and adjusted her skirts, waiting for him.

Noj looked around, not immediately spotting his warhorse, so he gave a shrill whistle that was accompanied by the familiar sound of galloping hooves, if a little deadened by the sicking amount of snow. By the Light... Mounting with a flourish as Light Dancer approached he patted the creature's neck before trotting him over to Cellyn. "Alright M'lady, I'm a ready for an adventure on your coin out of this blasted cold." Glancing up at the sky, he quickly discerned which way was generally southward from the sun, and turned his horse in the proper direction. "Ready Princess?"

"More than ready, sweetcheeks," she replied in amusement, moving her horse slightly behind his as they began a slow trot away from the inn.
They rode in silence for a bit, while Cellyn considered what her plans were. They really hadn't changed much, despite the presence of the man in front of her. As long as she made a few contacts here and there with merchants her father would find useful, he didn't really seem to care how long she was gone. After the debacle with that idiot man and his insane proposals of marriage, both father and daughter were glad to have her away from home for as long as possible to let the scandal die down. She stared at Noj's back, wondering what his story was, why he was out in the middle of nowhere and seemingly doing nothing.

Noj kept a wary eye out on the surrounding tree line. Old habits die hard, though this one didn't particularly need to be quashed. It saved his skin multiple times over. It did help that he had an extra pair of eyes but he doubted the woman really kept a very good watch. For some reason she didn't exude an air of a wary person in general. Maybe it was the indigo dress. Whistling through his teeth, he glanced back, feeling Cellyn's eyes in the back of his head. "Yes Princess? Something I can help you with?"

Cellyn shrugged and smiled over at him. She knew she looked liked a dim-witted pretty girl, wandering around with no guard and not seeming to pay attention, but she hadn't gotten this far from home without being robbed or worse on sheer luck. "Just wondering if I've hired a thief or murderer to travel with me," she replied in a sweet tone of voice. "After all, I don't know anything about you except you have a smart mouth and like to punch people."

Noj chuckled, noting a deer flick arcoss the wood line to his right. "And I don't know jack diddely about you either. Besides, I didn't take advantage of you during the night, so you know I'm trustworthy enough. Any man of lesser standing would have either stolen, raped, or killed you as you slept. I'm not a man of great repute but eh, that's why I'm here, instead of settled down with a family somewhere. So it goes."

"Most people would assume a man is more dangerous than a woman," Cellyn informed him with a dry laugh. "Although I think that those people are fools, sex means nothing when it comes to what a person is capable of." She fell silent, musing for a moment, before shrugging it away. "So, what happened to your reputation?" she asked curiously.

Noj shrugged, peering at the tree line still. He could almost swear he saw figures darting through, faster than people should, and he didn't like that at all, but he wouldn't say anything, as long as they were left alone. People are easier to spot when they believe themselves to be hidden. "I did. I speak my mind without a care of what others think, and many people are so uncomfortable in living openly with themselves that they feel the same about anyone else who ventures to try." He was tempted to make an attempt at Saidin, to sharpen his vision, but no, that should be avoided if possible.
