Feeling his little inner warning bells beginning to ring at a fever pitch, P'athen sketched a quiet smile at Chaeren, noting her own slightly nervous smile. "You and me both m'lady..." he said softly, looking back at the others as she spoke to them. Seidoshokuth took that moment to croon softly in encouragement.
Mine, they will not bite you, and you know no one here at Rias.
Watching the green firelizard nibble on her's impressor's ear, the bronzerider wasn't to sure about not being bitten, but decided to follow his dragon's advice. Either that or he'd get an earful until the next treadfall. Drawing a deep breath, he settled his fraying nerves, wishing more then once for a return to the shadows of his former Weyr, remaining unseen had been so... easy.. compared to this. "Greetings all of you, and bright skies to you, Chaeren of Yersith. I am P'athen of Seidoshokuth" he said evenly, bending almost in half into a deep bow, so used to disregarding the stuck up customs of the bronzeriders that the thoughts no longer occured to him.
Up on the ledge, Seidoshokuth spread his immense wings and chortled happily, then craned his long neck around to give a greeting of his own to the green.

Sonia glazed at the puffed up blue. She moved closer to him head titled chittering away slightly scolding. Her person, he was to close to him.
Kahlin reached over taking Sonia in his hands and pulled her away from the blue. He stroaked her eyeridges calming her down. "It nice to met you." He blinked looking at P'athen as he spoke. He seemed a little stuffy proclaming to the world. He shifted from foot to foot slighlty nevouse. There was so many people here.

It was so obvious to Kallista that everyone here was much the loner type and not expecting such privacy to be invaded so quickly. Sitting on a rock, she began to chuckle to herself and then finally laugh outloud. Soon tears were rolling down her cheeks in a laugh she had not had in such a long time.
Follar, catching onto his mistress's merry mood, started doing the most brave swoops and twirls around the group. Chirping and whistling happily, the blue made sure that he stayed in the golds' sight.
The runner calmed herself down and looked up at their confused faces. "This is so funny. Not one of here belong in a group, yet in a group we be..."

Kahlin peered at her confusion clear on his face. He shook his head, giving his own small chuckle as she finished speaking. "So we are. I did not get your name." He brushed back the hair getting in his eyes.

"Ah but I did give out. Twice already, in fact. But a good name bears repeating. It is Kallista, I am a runner from Master Byrad's Station up near Meka Hold. I have come to visit friends I have in the weyr."
Bowing slightly, her hair fell over her eyes giving them a sorrowed and sad look, though she could not remember why. Looking back up, Follar chirped and continued to make his presence known to Sonia.

"I must of came after you repeated it, but thank you Kallista." He chuckled looking at Follar. "Your blue seems to be intrested in my green." He reached over rubbing Sonia eye ridges, making the little flit let out a happy musical note. Sonia gave a few chirps to Follar, fluttering her wings.

Laughing simply, Kallista tried to grab her blue by the tail. Dodging human hands, Follar blinked out and then came back with a meatroll in his talons.
"FOLLAR! Where did you get that from?" Kallista shouted.
Dropping the meatroll in front of the pretty green, the blue went to the nearest rock and settled himself sending out thoughts of how clever he was...
"That blue is interested in any green or gold within 100 feet of him, maybe more."

Sonia grabbed the meat roll, daintly in her talons and began to eat. She glazed at the blue and gave a few pleased chirps.
Kahlin smiled slightly," And Sonia thinks with her stomach. I think that is true for most males." He glanced at Follar. "I'm guess he got it from the kitchen. Someplace familair for him to go between to."

Kallista thought for a moment and shrugged. "We did spend a bit of time in the kitchens. Silly creature. You are lucky some queen is not after your hide."
Follar, most pleased that his gift was accepted, approached the green boldly and flapped his wings at her.
The runner moved closer to the group and took them all in. "Most amusing, he always seems to have the females on his mind."

Kahlin stayed where he was, more comfortable being slightly outside the mass. He chuckled watching the blue approach Sonia. "I think that is a common flit trait. R'ael bronze is much the same way."
Sonia eyed Follar. She gave a little hiss of warning, lowering her head to eye him with her whirling eyes.

Whistling to Follar, Kallista held out her arm for her blue to return. Rubbing the back of his neck, she tried to sooth him as he chittered to her about being hissed at. Once settle, she turned back to Kahlin.
"Are you from the weyr, originally? Or did you come here like so many others?"

"I came here with my father to watch the clutching and hatching. We ended up staying a little longer the expected." He soothed Sonia by humming gently to the fire lizard. "And you?" He questioned polietly. "Are you from here?"

"I was born up north. But my family moved to the South and my father formed his own Runner station." Stroking Follar's neck, she sent to him that he was the best fire lizard out there and certainly the most precious shade of blue. "I only have a few days to myself before I go back to the station."

"You are not staying then for this hatching?" Kahlin was going to try his best to stay here. Even if it met living by the pool he and R'ael was slowly constructing.
Sonia flapped her wings as she finshed her meal. She slipped off his shoulder taking to the air. She looped twice around Kallista scolding at the blue.

"I can always run back for the hatching. But the eggs are not even laid yet." Kallista laughed. "As a runner I go where the message is needed."
Follar refused to be scolded and he took flight off of Kallista's shoulder. Chirping and chattering back at the green, his eyes took a slight tinge of red-orange on the outermost edges.
"Play nice. Both of you. Don't make me send you home."
