"Nope no sulking it will get us nowhere,"Demon agreed while nodding his head. His eyes scanned the area but he didnt see any trace of this mystical deer of hers. But his eyes did fall on to her. He was watching her search. Her nose to the ground trying to find a scent. He knew he should probably help but he was much happier watching her....He wondered if that made him a creeper...

She didn't notice him watching, however did sit up and pout directly at him. "Fine, don't help." She mused lightly, tail wagging. "Because I smelled a deer!" She mewed, hopping off, darting ahead. Maybe she was fast. As a child Tithe relentlessly trained her to protect herself and run, even though "running should only be done if you lost two limbs and an eye." Oh how Desmon reacted to that. Then again, Kiki wondered why anyone would run from a fight. You had to be tough and show people who was boss.
Poor little Yuna hadn't liked that, the training part or fighting. Kiki? It was fun!

Demons ears dropped some at the comment of not helping, "Sorry I'll start helping right away,"he said just as soon as that was said she took off looking for this deer. He wondered why she was so persistent about looking for this deer for him. Shrugging at the thought he jogged after her. He wasn't going to run unless he absolutely had to. He had learned young to save all the energy he could cause you never know when you would need it.

She was happy to see that Demon was following, tail wagging when she began to trace after the scent. She was persistent, one could not deny her that. However she would soon learn that her efforts were futile. As she traced the scent she discovered two deer.... though not white. She wasn't even hungry, growling when she turned around to see if Demon was following.
"Just deer." She grumbled. "Not even white deer."

Demon put his nose to the ground and began to help. He wandered this way and that and paused when she said something. "I'd take it as a good sign that we are getting onto deer though," He said giving her an encouraging grin.

She grumbled, whimpering and flopping down. She didn't even want to try anymore. This was pointless. "I should have known that story was lies. Who the hell ever heard of white deer that could heal problems?" She grumbled, pulling up weeds in frustration. "I just wanted to help you, that's all. I just made an idiot of myself."

Demon felt sad inside that she was upset with herself. He laid down next to her letting out a whine and he nudged her cheek. "Kiki dear its ok." he whispered nuzzling her. "You made me feel so much better even though we couldn't find it. You want to know why? Because you showed me that you cared atleast a little for me and wanted to help me and I have to thank you. Not to many do care."

She looked over at Demon, smiling slightly at his whine and laughing. "I'm sorry... I just really wanted to help." She mused, hearing his second sentence and flicking her ear in annoyance, swatting at him lightly.
"Don't say that! Screw them if they don't care about you! I do, so I'll stick by your side and scare them off if they start anything!" She firmly nodded, tail flicking violently to the side as she seemed to grow a little agitated. "No one messes with you when I'm around."

Demon blinked in surprise at her fierceness. It had to be that daeva in her blood. He chuckled at her but in a good way "I doubt anyone would want to mess with you your right. But I doubt they would mess with me either,"He said nudging her cheek trying to get her to smile.

"Well, they better not try!" She snorted, puffing up slightly in defiance. She shook her head, hissing to the side slightly. "No one touches you." She snarled before stretching, flopping onto her stomach and looking up at him.
"It's getting late, what are you doing? Going home or sticking close by?" She asked, head tilting softly. "Cuz if you stick around my Mom will come around probably, and my godparents."

Demon laid there with a smirk on his face. He couldn't believe his ears. This little vixen that didn't like violence was standing here telling him she would kick others butts for him if they messed with him. "So no one touches me but you?" he asked with a devilish smirk on his face.
"I think I'll stick around here if its ok with you and I'm not worried about running into em I can hide. Look at my fur love I'll go invisible." He told her with a laugh.

She laughed lightly, shaking her head. "Yup! Cuz I won't hurt you!" She mewed, head tilting. He was basically just tempting Desmon and Tithe and Nana, perhaps even Yugure or Yuna. Either way, she smirked slightly, imagining what he'd do if he met them.
With a grin, she rolled her eyes, rolled onto her back, and stretched, yawning softly. "Well, sleep near me?" Well, she didn't mind if Demon snuggled with her~ Maybe she was sort of becoming attached to the green male. Maaaaybe.

Demon smiled. "Yeah I'll sleep by you." He said and crawled closer to her. He laid his head next to her side and watched her for a moment or two. "Hey Kiki...if someone told you that they liked you alot what would you tell em?"

She purred slightly as he rested beside her, tail wiggling once. His second question made her blink, head tilting to look at him. Hm? What would she say? She paused, thinking it over.
She had spent a long time single, and had be severely jealous when her shyer sister got a mate before her. She loved Yuna, lots, but why was Kiki so alone? She was bolder than her mother and sister, yet it seemed people preferred the innocent girls.
But even so, if she didn't love someone she'd have to reject them. Now, she looked at Demon, blinking. If Demon told her that what would she say? She'd be happy. He had said he liked her earlier but..... but what? She didn't know how she felt. Now, she did. With a roll of her shoulders, she looked to the side.
"I would say what anyone would. If I didn't like that person I'd say I'm sorry, I like someone else. If the person I like said it'd I would say I like them back."

Demon watched her with caution. He examined her every move. From a twitch of an ear, glance of an eye to the shift of her body. Him afraid of rejection? Yep he was. Moments passed as she thought of her answer and the longer it was the more uneasy he began to feel.
Maybe she had someone she liked better? Maybe he was better off just walking away and looking after his siblings till they were all safe than disappearing for good.
He paused his thoughts watching her body language to what? He couldn't figure out but she had decided what she wanted to say.
He let out a mental sigh. She gave him a pretty basic answer. Which was fine and atleast she wouldn't be mean letting him down...but for some reason he was just hoping for something different. That didn't even make sense to him. How could he hope for something different when what he asked was vague and a generic question? Guess its now or never. He turned to face her more and gave her a soft quick gentle kiss before saying, "Kiki I like you. I know I have problems and can be pretty messed up in the head but I do like you and I understand if you dont its fine I guess but I thought you should know that I like you." There he had said it. For the second time now... thought if she didnt answer her would take it as rejection and leave. He wouldn't say it another time and make a bigger fool out of himself.
