Not a difficult endeavor; Ever was essentially tickling anywhere the bones were near the surface, anywhere he wasn't properly padded. All those jagged edges, hips and ribs -- he made a startled noise as Zac went for them, fumbling and wriggling, breathless and spluttering, until he succeeded in catching one hand and then the other, fumbling to half pin Zac under him.
Eyes watery and gulping for breath, he stayed just like that for a moment. His heart still hammered in his chest and he liked his lips, working to recover. "...um. Don't make me get the duct tape."

A low evilly amused chuckle was the start of it, even when his hands were captured the amusement remained, but it came to a startled abrupt halt with wide eyes.
Did he KNOW? He couldn't know about past incidents with duct tape...could he?! Would Dem have said... he might have... s**t... s**t s**t... of course he might have, Ever started out with a bloody roll of it.
His heart thundered and he tried to play it off light. "Oh? Hogtying over tickling... that in those books of yours?" He cleared his throat blushing again deeply.

"Mmm, not yet, but let's cross our fingers." He sucked in a deep breath and managed to wiggle his eyebrows in a suggestive sort of way, working to wind his fingers in with Zac's instead. Even tickling wasn't much of a punishment. It would have been much worse had Zac just stormed out, or sent him out...
And there was a smile again, relieved, not prodding the duct tape thing. If Dem had said something he didn't even remember. It hadn't really penetrated. "If not, I can probably find one that does."

"I'm sure you could..and you'd put THAT on my account too, should I be questioning your motives for tying up senshi now?" He arched an eyebrow struggling to work out the tangled mess that was rolling around in his head.
Removing some of the 'frustrations' for example, seemed like a good idea...but...
Rewarding Ever for checking out bodice rippers on his library card and laughing about it? Not such a good idea.
Though there were other...ideas weighing in as well but they were what he'd consider to be 'half formed' and as bad as the romance book.

"Oh, Zac." He grinned at that, cheeky, his head tipped back onto the bed and one knee dragged up. Smoothing thumbs against the insides of Zac's wrist in slow, gentle circles, his expression might have been wicked. He might have been joking, preparing another prodding, teasing sort of reply. Except he wasn't.
"I'm not generally interested in tying other people up." And he watched Zac's expression, waiting for that to click in, cheerfully predicting the slow blossom of another blush.

There it was, like the flowers in spring...or, something like that. "...the way you say that makes me feel like theirs an 'except' waiting to be tagged at the end there." He admitted, the blush darkening.
"...or... did you mean... the...other way, around." He said hesitantly playing the words over in his head cautiously.
"I'm thinking about it too much again, aren't I... or am I, you just wanted to make me turn red again!"

"Bit of both, I guess." His smile went helpless, the edge gone out of it, just comfortable and pleased. Ever wasn't Ever when left to his own devices. He flitted through relationships like butterflies, and this was the best part of them: the chatter, the fumbling, the figuring each other out. Nothing boring, in this stage of things. It would take a while for it to wear thin, to get old.
He tugged gently on Zac's hands to wind him in close, tangled legs and fingers toying at him hem, breath finally caught. His heart was still hammering, and Zac would hear it if he rested his ear against Ever. He was being horrendously patient. Ever thought he deserved some kind of metal.

He did listen... he was listening... he was doing a whole lot more 'feeling' than he was used to letting himself too but the signs might not be as clear as Ever's new iron clad patience.
"... so should I be taping you up or... are you enjoying yourself too much?" He said carefully. "... unless you don't trust me not to book it on you...again."

"I admit, I'm a bit terrified of starting anything." He pulled a little face, but it was as much amused as it was genuinely concerned. Ever smoothed his palm up the back of Zac's shirt, settled against his spine, and he huffed out a little sigh. He tipped his head up for a kiss, but it was light, brief, not really pushing things yet.
"...make the smoke alarm go off. Or a bird fly into the window. Or a tornado tear the roof off..." Or some other godawful interruption that would leave him growly and grumpy again. Just killer.

"...and I thought I was paranoid, " He quipped but it was half serious too, they really did have an abysmal track record.
He returned this kiss carefully and thoughtfully. "....I'm more worried that my Ex Room mate will appear... I think he'd probably start hitting things with his guitar but it's hard to say...."
A heavy sigh. "... Can't be interrupted...EVERY time I get the nerve up...can we?"

"We can if it's actually your nerves getting in the way." That came out more accusing than he meant. Ever made a noise and fidgeted, closing his eyes so he wouldn't have to look at Zac's face this time. Didn't want to see if that slammed home harder than he'd intended. He cleared his throat and fumbled to explain.
His fingers shifted, scratched against the small of Zac's back, something that was probably meant to be reassuring. "I mean, you can just say 'no'."

"...I know..." He said with just a hint of doubt in his voice... like saying no was and was not an option at the same time.
"...I'm just... sounds stupid when I try and say it is all." He glanced towards where Tenebrous normally sat, though the bear was safely locked away from prying eyes.
"...I'd... be ok with trying it.... you know...barring tornados, rogue angry birds or... well the smoke alarm... kinda... if your... interested."

That definitely sounded like an invitation. Ever swallowed a sound and then leaned up to kiss Zac again, flipping him quickly around onto his back. Yes, interested, though he slithered away to hook his bag closer to the foot of the bed before settling back in against Zac -- just in case they didn't get interrupted. He wasn't shy, he wasn't jittery, and he was practical, when it came to things that mattered to him.
This was, apparently, one of them.
