My True LoveSoquili looking for love Naomi Gender Preference: Male Archetype: The Valiant Protector Acceptable Races (at least one common/uncommon or mini): Uni, Wind, Kirin, Cerynei NOT Acceptable Races: Minis, Kalona, Kelpi, Regular, Mer (( ICly: The acceptable ones would show some sort of power/strength to be able to protecter, where each Uni, Kirin, and Ceynei have some sort of horn as a defense mechanism. Wind because he could be a distraction for Naomi while she tries to get away. )) What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A stargazer lily with a gold band she found wandering around in the forest that is looped around the stem of the lily. (( The gold band she had found a long time ago while wandering, showing her that even in a mass of dirt, something good could shine from it. This caused her belief that, in the world, no one should be judged at a first meeting. She brought along the lily because she felt like as though they were the stars of the day; Naomi thought that it would be nice to bring the day and night stars together, even for a little while. )) Short IC Response: Naomi had been trudging along most of the day, trying to get to the highest part of the hill to be as close as she could to the Wishing Star. Her body was weaker than ever since the mishap with a demon stallion. Sure, someone came to her rescue before much damage, but both emotionally and spiritually, she felt worse than before. No matter what, Naomi kept telling herself never judge someone on first impressions, but she feared that since the incident, it was getting harder and harder not to. It wasn't because she wanted to judge, but more so because she was afraid that she would be as lucky as that time... Her hooves were dragging from the immense amount of traveling she had done today, but she didn't stop until she got to the top of the hill and collapsed near where it seemed to be the closest point to the Wishing Star. She had to admit, the Soquili she had met on the way here was skeptical of what she was doing especially in her poor state of health, but one thing kept her going: hope. Looking up at the Wishing Star, Naomi wondered if it were possible for her frail little body to hold as much hope as this little speck in the sky. She knew that she would try, but Naomi was also hoping for a little bit more. Pulling out the stargazer lily and gold band from in her mane, she laid it in front of her and gazed longingly to the Star. "I really wish that I could meet The One where I didn't even have to think badly of... Someone who would be there for me. He would worry because of my fragility, but still give me my space to find my own Strength. Someone I could call mine and only mine..." With those final thoughts, her body gave up on her. Naomi put her head down onto the grass and gave her body the long needed rest after the long day of traveling. She had a smile on her face, hopeful that she would eventually meet the stallion she called 'The One'. Dreaming lovingly in her sleep, a gentle wind picked up and whisked away her offering, joining the day and night stars for a night.

My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: MalisRelation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Nekali, her sister Race (first choice): Troll (draft regular with tusks) Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): draft common What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Malis eyes the gleaming fire in the sky before bending down to where many other offerings sat. Hers was a small token which meant a lot to her. A necklace of a bear claw surrounded by a few feathers. It was well kept and yet showed it's age. The necklace had belonged to her little sister, left back at her village. Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative? With a shake of her long thick mane, Malis tried to picture her sister in her mind. Similar in build, stocky and tough, they had been tattooed together, her sister favoring sharper angles to her own shapely curves. A merry facer surrounded by dreads, while Malis' colour came from her father, Nekali's hair reminded her of their mother. The thought of her feisty little sister brought a tear to her eyes. it was because of her she had dealt with Voodoo for so long, helping her with the spirits and the rituals. Nekali would be all grown up now, possibly with her own family and yet still Malis ached to see her beloved sister once more. She placed down her offering, the necklace Nekali had given her when they parted ways. it was old, the leathers were frayed and yet thankfully still strong. The troll elder raised her head to the star once more and nodded. It was an appropriate gift to give, the spirits of her sister still lived within the trinkets tied upon the necklace each having their own story to tell. The fight with the bear where Malis had stood strong to protect her sister, the eagle's feathers when her sister had done the same in kind. They had often gotten into trouble, especially with Malis' quest for more shinies but they had been inseparable, always ready to help the other. "Ah could do wit' some help dear sistah." She whispered softly knowing the tides that were upon the horizons. She had gotten wind of attacks within the territories, the Vitterfolk had been betrayed by one they held close and now war was coming fast. "Family needs ta be stickin' t'ghether. Nekali, if ya be hearin' ya sister ya be comin' here soon." With another bow to the star she turned around, never looking back. *note: Malis last saw her sister when they were very young, what was described can be changed ^-^~

A True FriendWho is Wishing?: NokomisTell the wishing star a little about yourself: Nokomis followed the whispers of the moon as it told of a special star. The moon knew of Nokomis's loneliness, even though she had found love she longed for a true friend to share it all with. She found the star and thought on her words and with a deep breath made her wish. "I've traveled a long way and though friends I have met, I long for one that knows me better then I know myself. One that knows me like my mother moon herself. I have the one I love, but there are times when a girl needs a girlfriend, or guyfriend, to talk to, one to become a sibling and mentor where one has none by blood." She then bowed her head in thanks for the star listening to her wish and left her offering and hopes as she left. 10 Things I Like: 1- Colors 2- Flowers/nature's beauty 3- light 4- edited hair 5- butterflies 6- colors blue-green and teal/aqua 7- Heron wings 8- fantasy 9- shiny/glowy things 10- Peace and Quiet 10 Things I Don’t Like: 1-minis 2- complete darkness 3- demons/shadows 4- dark colors 5- short hair 6- blood 7- crazy patterns 8- copy and past images/paintings on soqs. 9- plain natural things(colors and themes and such) 10- sad/desolate things What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Nokomis left: A silver chalice to reflect the light of the moon and stars, a candle to bring the light of the sun to help guide them through the darkest shadows, many colorful flowers to show the beauty of life that awaits them, a heart shaped stone to show the love shown for nature, and a crystal bracelet with a cool glowing gem to know there is a home waiting for them, a friend waiting to greet them and welcome them home.

A True Friend Who is Wishing? (a Soquili or Kiwani persona) HollisTell the wishing star a little about yourself: I come from a family that seems to be all males. My grandfather had all sons, and my father had all sons, so I have never really been around females for much of my life. But I find any gender will be well liked if they don't mind my horns or that my grandfather is a Kalona! 10 Things I Like: Warm sunshine Running through the plains Meeting new Soquili Sweet fruit! Bright blue Kalona (If they don't want to kill me) Good food The wind through the trees Light rainstorms Stories 10 Things I Don’t Like: Coldness of winter Being trapped Feeling inferior The thought of losing his family Meat Total darkness Unneccessary pain Being talked down to Disrespect Violence What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Hollis slowly made his way to where he was instructed to leave his offering and dropped what looked like a broken piece of horn or claw, "This was given to me when I was a foal by my grandfather when he left me and my brother a gift. It is a piece of the sharp claw from his wings, he gave one to me and my brother. I always felt it brought me luck and let me feel closer to my grandfather. I give this in hopes...that it is a good enough offering and that it will give me luck to find a friend..."

My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: KatilanaRelation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Either brother or sister Race (first choice): Kirin/Kalona Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Unicorn What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Boquet of flowers that only blooms during the night and few gemstones that reminds her of stars. Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative? Katilana stood at the hill where she usually go to just stargaze and drift off into her own world with a sigh, feeling quite lonely because she haven't found any of her family members yet. She looks up at the stars with a slight smile on her face and closes her eyes. "I would love to see my siblings again. They are my family and probably only ones that fully understands me and doesn't annoy me." She chuckles little bit as she looks at the stars. "Here's my offering. And I shall come back every night to bring more offerings until you bring me my sister or brother." She silently sends out the image of her sister or brother whom looks just like her but with actual fire on hooves and some other placements that is fuzzy to her since she didn't see them ever since they grew up and left her alone. Katilana's muzzle cracks little bit into a smile as she could remember laughing with her siblings and feeling that particular peace when she is around them.

A Nemesis Soquili That Needs a Rival: Kuro-YumeGender Preference: Male What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Blood from two lovers. Kuro-Yume isn't sure if that will do so he also leaves some of the black and purple feathers from his wings as well. Short IC Response: Looking up at the night sky this stallion realizes something is missing from his life. He recalls his mother telling him that the brightest star in the night sky has powers to grant wishes. But there is still a part of that story he still dislikes. The part where you have to give up something to the star for the wish to come true. He sighs as he trots up to his lover collecting some of her blood and then prances about to find the brightest star in the sky. Once spotted he stops and stands under it. Looking up he sighs "I am not sure if this will do oh great star. But I need a Rival to keep my life interesting."He places down the veil of his lover's blood and then pricks himself with a thorn adding some of his blood to hers. Then plucks out some of his wing feathers. "I have the love of my life oh great star but a rival would be fun to have as well. So here is the blood of two lovers mixed and some of my feathers to add. Please grant my wish."

A True Friend
Who is Wishing? (a Soquili or Kiwani persona) Lenmana Kasa (My Kiwani persona)
Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Lenmana pushes back the furred hood of her warm jacket-like wrappings then pushes back the strayed tendrils of hair from her face. She settles upon her knees, gazing into the stars to find that one star - the Wishing Star. Not being one to talk very much, Lenmana pulls her flute out from the depths of her furs and brings it to her lips. She plays a chipper little melody then ends it in a sad few notes - as a way to tell her wishing star that she's lonely for a true friend.
10 Things I Like: Lenmana - once done playing her heart-felt song - pulls out a pouch that contains a few things she adores. A few brightly colored feathers, some gems she had found from her travels. She retrieves some dried leathers and some brightly colored paints, as well as a few rocks and begins to draw some of her other favorite things on them. Upon those things she drew the sun, moon and stars. A forest with lots of greens and such. She uses lots of swirly and rather unique patterns to her paintings. She then returns to her bag, pulling out a horn and some random claws and teeth she had found long ago and places it beside the rest of the items. She's one to strongly believe that there should be equality in both the good and the bad so her eyes linger upon the horns, claws and teeth. She already knows a few kind hearted Soquili. She then fills her heart with joy as she does a small dance about the items.
10 Things I Don’t Like: Here, Lenmana pulls another pouch from her furs and opens it up. Being one of a large and open heart, there is little she does not approve of. She fills her heart with sadness and loneliness and exposes an empty pouch to her wishing star. She does a sad and woeful dance about the empty pounce before she bows her entire body to the star.
What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Once her display is complete, Lenmana closes up the first pouch and returns it to her furs. She sets her flute with the rest of the items she had pulled out and pushes them all into a neat little pile as her offering. Each one precious to her. Each one holding some sort of meaning. But each one she felt necessary to be an honorary offering to her wishing star. She leaves them all upon the hill in hopes that her Wishing Star hears her this night.

My Long Lost Family Member Soquili in search of a relative: Crousader Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Nephew Race (first choice): Wind crossbreed (uni/kirin) Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Wind What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A piece of his armor, an old and tarnished piece that had served to shield his vulnerable forelegs from breaking when he faced his opponents in the Great Ring and in the life he led After. Symbolically, his armor as also served as a shield over his heart, which he now wishes to open. Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative?
It was odd, coming to this place. High above him the star pulsed brilliantly in the distance as it streaked across the sky, a beacon... perhaps... or a foolish light guiding an old stallion long past his glory days into one final misadventure. Sighing, Crousader sank to his belly in the long grasses that capped the top of the hill, and rested for a moment, just gazing after the star.
Unbidden, images of his old home came to mind, of the young colts and fillies playing amongst the clouds.... their mothers watching placidly from the rocky outcrops that the herd had called home. The Temple, where he had befriended those young monks and served as a guardian, and where the orange clad humans had hummed their prayers and rang great bells to herald the return of the Sky Horses. A wistful sigh escaped an aged muzzle as the memories continued to flow, showing him familiar faces and quite a few long lost loved ones. Then, one face in particular stuck out and sent a barb through his chest.
His brother's young son, orphaned so early due to a terrible accident that claimed both of his parents. So proud, yet so shy... Crousader could (even now) feel the youngsters quivering body against his own when the elders had come to tell them both of his family's fate, refusing to show weakness yet unable to fully keep his feelings inside. But Crousader had withdrawn from the world then, pulling into himself, enrolling early into the training of young stallions so as to set aside the pain of his brother's loss, leaving that poor youngster to deal with the death of his parents alone.
Drawn back to the present, the white stallion realized he did indeed have one true, heartfelt wish. He dearly wanted to apologize to that young colt, and somehow make amends for abandoning him when he'd needed that last living blood relative the most.
So as the Star blazed past, he closed his sky blue eyes, unsnapped a piece of his leg armor, and made that wish, putting all of his heart and soul into casting it up into the sky... so that possibly that youngster (likely a full grown stallion now) might know it.
"I'm sorry, Kalden. I'm so sorry...."

Hanna looks around then looking at the sky she slips her dreamcatcher necklace off her neck. Her most valued procession because it was given to her by her brother. Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative? Hanna stood, her head bowed low.. It had to be done the necklace her brother once gave her as a way to remember him it had be offerend, {i] dear star I don't bleive in this kind of thing but I do beleive in the law of Equalantacy with the law of nature. I know that something must be given to grain something. I lost my brother in fire when i was very little. The fire that took everything for me. I know that I must offer something for this exchange. A True Friend Who is Wishing? (a Soquili, Familiar, or Kiwani persona) SylvianaTell the wishing star a little about yourself: I am a lonely Soquili, most others fear me based solely on how I look...I do not want to be feared any longer, and I wish...for someone who would like me for who I am, and not look at me in fear, or judge me before getting to know me. Someone pure of mind, who will stick by me forever. A friend who will always be there for me..Someone I can trust. 10 Things I Like: I love the way the wind blows through long mains and tails, and to be honest, I am quite jealous of other Soquili's hair tails. I find myself fond of brighter colored Soquilis, they always catch my eye. I like flying...I hope my friend will have wings, oh wishing star, so we can fly together. I like smiles, if you can believe it. If you grant my wish, please make my friend a happy person, someone to laugh with me. I love the night sky, the stars speckled against the blackness, like small beacons of hope. I love the heat that comes with a fire, how it warms my very soul. I love the smell that comes after a rainstorm, the smell of something clean. I love that final burst of light that comes at the end of the day, when the sun has yet to pass the horizon. I love ribbons and bows. And, my dear Wishing star, I love the way that scarves keep you warm on a cold winters day. 10 Things I Don’t Like: I do not like the look of mistrust that Unicorns tend to give me. I really don't like Soquili who have no manes or tails...They just seem to be lacking something. If my friend has any blood showing...it my tempt me...I don't want to eat my friend.. The color Neon green blinds me. I don't like when Soquilis distrust me... I do not like things that are scary. What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star?Sylviana thought and thought about this, then finally walked to the star, laying beside it. "My dear Wishing Star. I know not what to give you. Would you like a flower, or a medicinal root? Some of my mane, or a freshly killed mouse? Are you lonely as well, Wishing star? I will give you something special. I will give you a story. A wonderful tale, of a wonderful time. A time of peace, a time of glory. When nobody had to be afraid. Of course, Wishing Star, such a time isn't real...But isn't that what makes a good story?" Sylviana gave a small smile, then closed her eyes, telling several stories to the star, remaining beside it well into the night.

My Long Lost Family Member Soquili in search of a relative:Ichthian Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Brother Race (first choice): Seathi Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Ichthian leaves a shiny piece of obsidian rock, a pure black volcanic stone that he found near his home. Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative?Ichthian watched the wishing star through the rippling water. If he could wish for anything, what would he wish for? "Dear Wishing Star, i don't know if you were watching or if you can remember, but I once had a brother who meant more than anything to me. He was my best friend and my closest companion. We grew up together, learned together, played together it was a peaceful time in my life. Then I lost him a great wave swirled my brother and father away from me and my mother. She raised me after, in her grief she sought strength in the fact that I was still with her. She loved my father as I loved my brother. My brother was young and strong, he could have survived the wave. I have never given up hope of seeing him again. He was too alive to vital. I miss him so much now, I wish he could meet my mate Menthe and join us as a member of my family."

Two blue feathers, one each from her own wings. Short IC Response: Ni'awtu held the two feathers in her mouth, trying not to sneeze when the fluff brushed against her nose. Her light purple eyes stayed fixed on the alter before her, the bell attached to her long forelock jingling with the rhythm of her walk. As she neared, she closed her eyes and lowered the offering, opening them long enough to pick up a stone from the ground to keep the two light objects from flying away. "I won't ask you to bring him back," the mare told the night sky, raising her head so her forelock fell completely away from her pretty eyes. "But someone at all would be nice. It's lonely by yourself."

My True LoveSoquili looking for love: GiconiGender Preference: Female Archetype: The Bad Girl Acceptable Races (at least one common/uncommon or mini): Cerynei, Regular, Kalona, Kelpie NOT Acceptable Races: Minis, Uni, Kirin What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star?A torn piece of cloth from his hood, stained by the dust and sweat of a long journey. Short IC Response: "Star, I have failed my family. My mother and father depended on me to help them. My mother, in particular, has sent me to accomplish what she could not... But I seem to have inherited her luck." Giconi chuckled darkly, feeling ridiculous and embarrassed and the smallest spark of hope that his wish would be heard. It wasn't like Giconi to believe in the mystical, but his heart hurt as he pushed the small, sad offering forward, and looked up at the sky with an expression that could only be one of hidden misery. It was a pathetic gift, but it was the only thing the stallion had upon him, other than the adornments given to him by his mother to keep him safe during his travels. If he lost those, he'd look even worse in her eyes, and that would defeat the purpose of his venture up the hill in the first place. It wouldn't do to upset the mother he both loved and despised even further. He let out a deep sigh, reluctant to look up at the star like a foolish foal, but he forced himself to keep his gaze skyward. If he was here already, he had to go all the way. "Star! If you can really grant wishes, send me someone who will pull me out of this mess. Someone strong, someone my family can respect! Please, don't let me be another disappointment... "

My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: Bliss - [x] Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Son Race (first choice): Draft Regular Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Um, wind I guess?! What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? He had to bring an offering? o.O >.< :8 Bliss turns to the raccoon nestled on his back and smiles at it, turning back to the wishing star. "You can have Joy? He has been with me for a long time. He would do you good as a humble friend." Before he makes his wish however, he tears a few lone flowers from the ground nearby and places them at the alter. [x] - This is Joy Short IC Response: It was a faint memory, a whisper in the wind...he wasn't even sure if it was real. The time between his first and second encounters with love, there was a mare. Her name...escaped him and he barely recalled what she looked like...but she was there. They had spent only one night together, and Bliss never saw her again. He didn't think anything of it until recently, when his daughter finally told him the secret she'd kept from him for years...that mare had gone into his grove one night while he was out, looking for him. Instead she found Vanilla Swirl, and 'Nilla told her that Bliss had died.... The mare was pregnant. She was carrying Bliss's child. Vanilla Swirl hadn't told her father for reasons unknown to him, but when it came out...he was shocked. Shocked that he had fathered more children than he realized, and shocked that 'Nilla could keep such a secret.
Looking at the wishing star, Bliss could only think of one thing to say. It was simple, but appropriate. "I'm sorry, Sir Wishing Star...I wasn't aware that we had to bring an offering, but I am a simple stallion. I do not want much out of life. I just want to know my child...whomever or wherever they may be. Please bring them to me, please let me look into their eyes and tell them I love them..."
