~Melius est habere firmum semper patiatur EX pars malorum quam timens semper eventu~
Wallace Wallace smiled at Amelia, "Will do miss." With that he signed the clipboard and began writing down his credentials. Former Knight Commander of Caelin, author of The Manual of Knightly Prowess, member of Lyndis' Legion, fought against Nergal alongside the Lycian nobles, landed a blow against the cursed Fire Dragon immediately following the defeat of Nergal, .... The list would continue for awhile if Amelia didn't stop him soon.
It turns out that Amelia didn't have to interrupt Wallace as he heard a familiar voice. He dropped the makeshift pencil and turned around "Viper Lady! So you're here as well. How is your overgrown lizard?" He looked Vaida taking note of her appearance change. "It seems you have started looking more like more like a woman rather than a soldier. That and you've adopted a new set of armor. Even if you have kept that spear."

Amelia watched Wallace write, frowning as he wrote. And wrote. And wrote. "Sir...? Sir, please don't write all of that." she reached out and gently took the graphite stick from his hands right as he seemed to drop it. "Your sign-up is good enough as is. Give us the remaining information later." She brushed her hair off of her face and glanced briefly at Vaida. She had never known the busty, rather hot-headed woman very well, but it was nice to see a familiar face, and hopefully one that hadn't seen... well. Seen what had happened during and after the battle.
"Good day, Vaida." She gave her a small nod, then turned back to her papers. They were drowning in paperwork in the Watch building, construction codes and death records and enlistment records of old and new members alike. She worked on a small stack of them now, studying a smaller selection of papers before beginning to write at the top sheet of a larger one, a quill and inkwell implemented for this purpose.

I ain't forgettin' anyone, and I also ain't regrettin' anything.x - [Leon] - x "My name's Leon. It is a pleasure meetin' ya, Sunil." replied the Captain, as he handed Sunil a form to fill out, as well as a quill pen. "Read it carefully now. It says everythin' ya need to know, such as startin' pay, yer duties and... where we'll be meetin'..." Of course, there was no need to transcribe the thing (even if his penmanship was the only one neat enough to write them all out). That would spoil the surprise, wouldn't it?
Leon looked to Vaida, but he didn't know much to say to the Castle Guard's leader. Truth be told, he never met with her much face-to-face, and he still carried his departed (fellow) Captains' belief that the Watch should take care of themselves, and not have to call the country's army unless it was a last resort. He managed a nod, and a small greeting out of respect for Vaida's rank. "Good mornin'." he said. x - [Watch Captain] - x
We gotta carry on, ya know? It's what they woulda wanted!

"Likewise." the cat responded simply, nodding.
He took the form and quill pen in his hands before looking at the paper. He could read, but writing... Yeah, Sunil couldn't write. At all. Never really learned how to. He was just about to swallow what was left of his pride and ask Leon if he could write for him...
Fortunately, a distraction in the form of big breasts and a fierce woman who knew Baldy Beorc came by. If he recalled, the female Beorc was the leader of the Guard, a group similar to the Watch.
"I wonder which is better in terms of producing better warriors... the Watch, or the Guard?" he asked curiously.

O Father Sky, Mother Earth... I pray that you give me strength. ↣ ↣ ↣ Sue ↣ ↣ ↣ Just around the time the Host Club booth was getting visitors, Sue arrived to help try and recruit some new event planners for the guild. It was sad to see that so few of them remained, but they would continue on. Already, she noticed some familiar company besides her fellow host, FD. "Hello, General Roy! Lord Ephraim!" Sue said, happily waving. She also nodded to acknowledge another red-headed noble. "And you too, Joshua." She added.
She stood at FD's right, looking just as fancy in the Host Club uniform. It was a hot day, as Roy said, but they all wanted to look nice for this occasion! It wasn't too bad, anyway. It was better than for instance, an all-black tux out in this kind of weather.
"Has there been any luck so far, Hikaru?" Sue asked him, hiding her worry behind a small grin. "There's got to be more people that want to make the guild members feel special, right?" She sealed the last statement with a wink, which was one of their former leader's many trademarks. Rhys's elegance and flair would live on, through all of them.<|Nomad Trooper|=0 The path ahead shall not be easy, but I must proceed!

"Isn't it a beautiful day today," Alex sighed as he stood in the middle of the streets of Eyris. Instantly, he sighed and leaned himself against a wall as if he was in pain. "If it is such a nice day, why do I have to work?" complained the sharpshooter. The man was taking a small break from his walk around Eyris and was on his way towards the Job Fair down towards the market square. With another sigh and and quick push off the wall, he continued making his way towards the Job Fair.
It has been a while since the major battle in Eyris took place and also has been months since his promotion to a ranking Captain. He was still amazed that he was offered the position and even accepted it. "It's all for the money," he nodded to himself as he reached the market square. Alex was here to help recruit and hopefully get more soldiers to join the Army. He spotted the booth and continued making his way towards it.
"Well what do we have here?" he said out loud as he sees the chaos unfold in front of him. A girl helping man the booth screams to get a guys attention but accidentally knocks him out. In addition, another girl tries to wake him up by pouring cold water onto him. The man let out a whistle as he calmly walked to the booth. Other people were staring at the scene that had just happened and the sniper made a motion to move them. "Hey, you guys are blocking the paths by watching this scene. Please keep on moving or get out of the way," the captain said calmly as he stood next to the booth. He turned around and faced the booth while scratching the back of his head. "I apologizing for arriving a bit late," he chuckled.

Things were going downhill due to Mihira being a bit clumsy around Regulus, which caused Zeiss to sigh. He turned his attention to Farina, who seemed to be interested in the guard.
"Well, we are in need of some new recruits for the guard due to the war we just had. Overall, we all need some new recruits everywhere. However, if you wish to join the guard, just fill out the paperwork and then we will move on through registration."
However, once he had finished talking with Farina, it seemed things weren't going well on Mihira's side still. He sighed, and walked over, kneeling besides her. "Things just aren't going that well here." He then looked up at Ice, and stood up. "The water really wasn't that necessary. Waking those up from getting knocked out by cold water isn't the smartest idea at all. You just have to wait it out is all." He would know, since he had been at war and it had occurred on a few occasions.
A whistle turned Zeiss' attention up to Alex, who had just arrived at the scene. Hey, you guys are blocking the paths by watching this scene. Please keep on moving or get out of the way. I apologizing for arriving a bit late.
"We all have our own duties here sir, and we can't help it if we are late. Although I don't believe we have had the chance to meet each other." He extended his hand out to the sharpshooter. "Zeiss, under the command of Commander Vaida. Pleasure to be working with you today."

Regulus sat up quickly and spat the water out of his mouth that had been thrown on him, "Gahh!!! What the hell was that!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!" immediately afterwards he became lightheaded and fainted again. The blond cavalier curled unconsciously curled up into the fetal position in order to protect himself from more people who would wish to throw water on him in an attempt to awaken him.

After awhile standing in fear, Blaise's fear of the laguz discovering her smell faded. She walked up to a stand and was at a loss for words, and unsure how to address people behind the stands. "...Umm...Hi.... I was told there might be a job here..." Blaise said as she hoped they would not be as harsh on her as the bandits she previously did business with. She scratched her head and smiled as she giggled nervously. The brown brand markings on the Myrmidon's face looked much like dirt or war paint. Her eye color seemed to gave off a golden glow and her red and orange hair flowed like fire in the breeze.

Jack could help but smile at Leon's kind words of encouragement. "Now there's a man who enjoys his job. I think I'll enjoy his company." Sheepishly his hand rubbed the back of his head, "Actually, sir... I think I'm fine with knives, I had an uncle in the circus and as a boy he taught me how to throw them and well I kinda just picked up the rest from there... I've never had a reason to use them like that though until the siege." It was only moments after he had finished speaking that a most interesting person approached the booth.
It was a laguz, my, my he was a specimen. Jack stepped back and let them converse for a time. Other people showing up as well, although he didn't add to any of their respective conversations he was still paying attention, the pretty blonde woman behind the counter asked if he had signed yet but he simply shook his head and let the big bald guy go first.
Once Wallace was finished he stepped back up again and addressed Amelia. "I'm ready to sign up now... missus?"

Saifer Griimro Having been watching the table manned by Leon and Amelia all this time, Saifer could safely say he was both entertained and amazed by the robust and odd sort of people who had come over to it. Honestly, a few minutes of watching the table and a giant with a booming voice, a busty woman who looked to be a textbook definition of a vixen, and a cat creature were around the table...and that was just naming a few. Now, Saifer was from Elibe, so he had very little knowledge on what exactly a laguz was - he'd seen some odd creatures like that in this realm since coming here, but it was hard to get used to. It was like every time he saw one, he expected a background person to jump up and ask 'wait, just what the hell are you?'...Not that he would express this feeling of unease and questioning out loud, of course.
He then began to seriously consider signing up for some spontaneous inexplicable reason. Saifer did want some kind of meaning to himself...and he was sick of his life on the streets. If he had a job like this...oh sweet Elimine, if it meant lodging and a steady source of food...
Still, even as the idea became more and more enticing, he only took a few uncertain steps forward. At this point, he was simply trying to catch someone's eye so that they would call him. To that end, he took off his hood and opened up his coat a little so that his sword might be visible to others.
The reason he was trying to get noticed by first making eye contact with someone instead of making himself noticed would probably be a bit strange to some people. The way he figured it was that if he went up on his own and decided not to sign up (or even attempt to, if they even let kids like him in), he'd be considered an idiot or something. Saifer had no desire to give others reason to look down on him. If someone called on him, it would be a bit easier to decline if he chose to. He didn't really notice how pointless and unecessarily self-conscious this thought process of his was, oddly enough.
[I'm not even sure what i'm doing anymore.]

Ignis Draconis sum. Thema fabulae, thema apologi.c** igne sacrō, Flametongue, (prō amicīs pugnō) prō pace volō. Miliibus annīs supervivē, cicatricēs temporis possideō. Mirate corpus meum, pinnās meās, ignem meum! Fire Dragon Fortunately for FD, the formality of the Host Club’s booth along with his attire wasn’t perpetually putting passersby off: it wasn’t very long before the Swordmaster, Joshua approached and greeted the dragon. It was as the Magvelian said. They hadn’t spoken to one another since his wedding to Nils before any of this mess had happened. Of course, they had also both travelled in the same company to Adliana some time before that, as well, but in spite of this, the two didn’t seem to know each other very well. Should Joshua be added as a member of the Host Club, however, that would change; all the members of the Host Club knew each other appreciably well. Being a member of it didn’t just mean you were employed – it meant you were part of a group of people that cared for one another.
“Yes, some call me that, and yes, that was the last time we spoke” FD answered the Swordmaster. ‘Hikaru’ was a name generally reserved for those very close to him like Nils, but the dragon didn’t correct anyone or get upset when someone else addressed him as such. “Thanks again for attending. I hope you had a good time. How has life been treating you since?”
At this point, Ephraim approached the booth and greeted Joshua, waving and smiling at FD, as well. “Good to see you again,” FD said to the Renais-borne prince.
At this point a THIRD prince-from-another-planet showed up – FD’s own nephew-in-law Roy, who congratulated the dragon on his recent promotion to Crew. He and Nils were now both members of the Guild’s Crew; total Power Couple. “Thanks, Roy! It’s very good to see you.” He and Nils very frequently worried about Roy for disappearing from time to time, but he’d fortunately been around for quite a while as of late. “It’s a bit stuffy, but it’s really not that bad,” he responded to Roy’s question. It was true that FD had incurred numerous injuries during the siege of Eyris, and the injuries he incurred from his normal Dragon-form translated into his human substitute-form – they also didn’t heal quickly like Laguz injuries did. And his dragon form could take a lot more punishment than this human one. Beneath FD’s formal attire he was indeed quite heavily bandaged. But he was fine to stand in place. He wasn’t doing anything difficult or messing with his bandaging or injuries. Additionally, he had an affinity for the heat, so that, itself wasn’t too great a problem for him.
There were now three people congregated in front of the Host Club’s booth – all raised in environments that provided them with the skills necessary to be a good host, which might save time during the training process. But not a one of them had expressed interest in joining the Host Club, so FD decided to bring it up himself: these were qualified individuals, so if they were interested, chances were high they would get hired. “So, Roy, you interested in joining your uncles on the Host Club? How about you, Joshua, Ephraim?” Originally, it was simply planned that the Host Club would just make up for the members it had lost and hire only two new members, but they had received an increase in their budget due to the perceived necessity for livening up the city and could potentially hire more than two, increasing the number of hosts to more than they had had to begin with.
Fellow Host Club member Sue joined FD behind the booth for the organization at this point and inquired as to how recruitment was going at this point. “Possibly.” FD responded, winking back as he did so. Whether Roy, Ephraim, or Joshua were interested in joining was up to them, after all.

Amelia was already beginning to feel just a little bit wan at their stand. The heat was intensifying as time passed, with the Watch's stand offering no shade to give respite from the strong sunlight. Even as she felt the sweat begin to bead up on her forehead, she made no comment. Her side throbbed dully; she probably needed to have a healer look at it, get a nice, cooling swath of Heal magic swept across it, but surely if she went back now, she wouldn't be back up for weeks. No, she would just have to tough it out for now. She hoped her face wasn't getting pale from the slowly-strengthening discomfort as she handed Jack the graphite.
"Amelia, sir. Please sign the form." She pointed briefly to the paper, then tried to discreetly take a large lungful of air, attempting to relax her muscles. It wasn't working very well.

"Fine actually, it got a little hectic during the siege there for me but I'm still alive thanks to my luck." Everyone else seemed to be winking all of a sudden so Joshua did too, at both Sue and FD. From underneath the hat his grin added to it, oh yea he was qualified alright. He opened his mouth to say something further when a voice behind him and a hand on his shoulder caused him to turn around.
"Long time no see Ephraim." He grinned, "How's life treating you?"
Oh and Roy was there, and he screwed up on their titles since the two of them were Kings now. Kings of countries they'd never see again, well that's a depressing thought.
"Yea, I'm interested in joining, seems like a good way to pass the time you know? Oh and Ephraim is too." Joshua slid his arm around the lancers shoulders friendlily volunteering the other man for no particular reason it seemed.
