An amicable silence fell between the cracks separating Lilith's form and the door. The moments ticked on by without much care and 'twas enough to possibly persuade any waiter that there was absolutely no one there. However, another moment cascaded on by and there was a screechy-scratchy noise at the bottom of the frame. This questionable noise was followed by a snort, an even more questionable tumble and a violent jerk of the entrance-exit open.

"Huh? Len, I ain't-" A hesitation. "Oh."

Mm, well, this was surely unexpected. Sorano, for once in his shabby life, had chosen not to venture off into town to drown his regrets in good ole' booze. No-, the terrible regret when he last got himself drunk was intoxicating enough to turn him away. He had fallen asleep upon his bed and it took Never to nudge him awake when the knock and scent weren't familiar. An embarrassing brush cornered the toppings of his ears as he realized he certainly wasn't suitable to greet pretty much anyone at the moment either; bare chested with a fly completely undone. Sorano was just manly glory with all manly glory sticking out at odd inclinations.

"Ah, hey, ums, Lili-" Even more unexpected was his sudden dive of his mouth to hers, connecting upon contact. He pulled away come his sudden stupidity but made conclusion with a pleasant though unnoticeable sigh. Ah, he missed that. "Oh, uh, hey. What'cha say?"

Lilith sighed curtly when the door finally opened after what seemed like an eternity of waiting. What had kept him so long, honestly? "Well, sheesh, it's about frikkin' ti-"

Her impatient remark was, to her surprise, cut short by the mere appearance of Sorano, as well as his equally sudden kiss. As a kiss from him always made her react, Lilith turned a bright shade of red, but as his lips pulled away from hers and she got her first proper look at him, she grimaced and quickly looked away.

"...Ugh." She didn't see that. Nope, no, no way did she see that, no sir. "Kindly, kindly make yourself decent, Sorano." The palm of her hand met with her forehead as she slowly began to turn away.

"Len's forcing me to go drinking with you and is forcing me to take you with. I mean, really, Sorano..." Despite her want to look away, Lilith's eyes strayed back over to his. "You constantly hanging out with your sister just 'cause you're lonely... That's kind of pathetic." It may have been rather cruelly worded, but it was the truth.

With that, she turned and began walking back down the hall. "Len and I will be in the garages. Hurry up and get down there quickly, 'kay?" As she returned to the garages herself, her hand strayed up to her lips, gingerly touching them as Sorano's lips had done. Still, to this day... It never ceased to be a pleasant surprise.

"Ah, right . . . right." The little term 'pathetic' was a giant uppercut to the groin, so he turned without protest into his room and searched for anything that smelled partially clean. Or was clean. Len was still doing his laundry even though they were both now Agents. Simple white tee and no, not sweatpants . . . simple white tee and jeans with an annoying little mustard stain to the right pocket was his casual attire. He swiftly made it to the entrance-exit, turning back for a brief moment to see if his Flareon wished to join him. The black flickering beads in the dark -- half lidded -- was enough to tell him no. The crease of his bottom lip curled over like a wave and he descended into the cacophonous depths of TRHQ. Down, down, down into the garages, that is where he was told to go.

Lennyka waited patiently, arms folded over neatly under the curve of her bosom as she stared absently to pesky little things that bothered her. Hephaestus squealed a, "Epigtay!" in curious pig Latin, rearing his trainer to carry on the rides. It wasn't going to happen.

[Jerome]

"Dude, that's freakin' awesome." It wasn't every day you saw someone who tattoed their effing eyes of all things. Not that he'd probably ever get any tattoo at all, let alone his eyes, but it was still cool in his opinion. "Yeah, I'm going too. I'm still new and don't really know anyone, so I figured it'd be a good time to try and meet people," he said with a shrug as he started walking again too. A thought seemed to occur to him suddenly, and he held out a hand to the larger guy. "Name's Inigo, by the way. What's yours?"

[Inigo]

The older man chuckled deeply at the other Trainee's enthusiasm.
"Tyron" He said. "can call me Jerome though, s'what I go by, or TJ" He added with another shrug "Whatever one ya want."

Folding his hands over his chest again, glancing over at the kid with a raised eyebrow.
It still surprised him with what kind of people he saw in Team Rocket... this guy looked like one of those innocent school boy types that Jerome used to beat up on in High School.
"Party is a good place to do that."

"Ah~ suit yourself then," he told his passenger, shrugging. "Maybe one of these days you can demonstrate to me the usage of pokemon as transportation, but with our limited time, I'd rather not risk it." He had the slightest notion that she may have been less than comfortable around vehicles such as cars, but decided to overlook the matter this once. He resisted asking any questions, not wanting to press his luck with how upset Aila already seemed to be with him.

"Take it easy, now," Orihara encouraged as he lent her his arm to lean on. "You could have said something about being motion-sick, if that was the case. So many secrets! I guess I still have a lot to learn about you." With a tender smile, he positioned his arm in the proper degree with which to escort the young lady while at the same time providing support as she recovered from the ride. "Are you ready to go in, or would you like to wait a minute outside?" He checked his phone. "We're still a few minutes early. Plenty of time."

[Jerome]

He completely missed the raised eyebrow and what could be interpreted as a skeptical look at his behavior, and he nodded. "Jerome?" Interesting. Any of the three names sounded appropriate, but if he normally went by Jerome, it'd probably be a good idea to call him that rather than anything else. "Nice to meet you, man. You been here long?" He asked, stuffing his hands into his pockets as he walked, his fingers drifting over the pokeballs in his left pocket. Would they run into anyone else soon? He certainly hoped so, he still wasn't entirely sure if they were going in the right direction...

"It's not as though it's a secret," she countered, accepting the support only briefly as a catalyst to regaining her composure. "I don't mention it because I don't let it impede me." Besides, calling it motion-sickness was a bit extreme, wasn't it? She didn't experience similar difficulties aboard pokemon or even helicopters. At any rate, it had yet to be any more than a minor, fleeting inconvenience, and so she saw no reason to address it.

Almost habitually, she accepted the escort with a practiced grace, though a mild indifference permeated her features. "That won't be necessary. I'm ready whenever." To be early was to be on time, as the saying went.

"And here I thought Frosty-chan was stubborn about his cracked ribs. Really, are all of you so hard-headed when it comes to your weaknesses?" He smirked at her as she took his arm for a moment. "It's not as though you're robots. You can't simply tell yourself you won't let it hinder you and then expect your body to follow suite. Otherwise you wouldn't be in the state you're in."

With a sigh, he made a mental note and continued forward, arm linked with the female agent. "Let's be going, then. I hope you like singing, because there won't be much else to do besides that and drinking while I'm with my client."
PostPosted: Mon May 09, 2011 12:05 pm

She considered correcting his use of the nickname, especially since Frost had specifically noted it as a point of annoyance, but it seemed a moot point. It wasn't all that likely that he would change an established habit over a single chiding word. "I don't handle cars well, I dislike bug-types, and I find children off-putting, to name a few," she said with a shrug. "I don't disregard or hide my weaknesses. I make note of them, confront them, and understand them, all to the best of my ability." Though intangible things such as her inability to rely on others or to form and recognize meaningful friendships had yet to be noted, let alone confronted.

"I'll be content to wait patiently, thank you," she assured, refusing both means of entertainment that were offered. She was a damn good wallflower when she felt so inclined, after all.

[Inigo]

"Naw" He replied "bout... a week" He admitted, the corner of his lip tweaking up a little, He didn't really know for sure how long he was laying in the hospital bed.
He hasn't been able to much of anything, even though he was recently told he would be put into more of the training programs... the one he could do anyway.

He glanced around as well when the boy voiced doubt about where they were going.
Though it wasn't long before Jerome noticed other people heading in a direction, and just like the boy had guessed, it lead right into a garage filled with vehicles.
A dark blond women was standing at the passenger side door with an Umbreon next to her, a puffy white haired women in the passenger seat.

[To anyone looking for a ride.]

Hand on her hips, the ring of keys dangling from one of her fingers, Faleen looked out over the groups that were coming in.
She had picked one of the SUV's to help fit more people if they needed a ride.

"I'm about to head out" She called to the people in the garage "If anyone needs a ride come get in now."
She gave a people time to come get into the SUV, sliding in herself after letting Umbreon hop into the middle seat.
Buckling herself in the glanced over at Nyx with a little grin, she knew Nyx wasn't going to enjoy this ride at all.

Once her car was full, she pulled out with her group and headed to where this party was supposed to be.

Nyx didn't waste any time getting out of the car and hurrying into the building. She didn't have forever to relax, so she was going to get to relaxing as quickly as she could. Inside, Nyx had already found a table and was waiting impatiently for Faleen and whoever else may want to join them.

----------

There were a few people inside the bar already, one in particular was sitting alone at a corner table, watching the small crowds and the individuals who got up to sing. The girl had bright light blue hair and wore a contrasting orange jacket; She was sipping on some colorful fruity girl drink and staring at passer-by's with large silvery eyes. Izumi wasn't usually one for this sort of thing, she preferred night-clubs to karaoke bars, but she'd set a goal of going out somewhere different and trying to socialize at least once a month. Now she could scratch that off.

"There we go! See? That wasn't so hard, was it?" He grinned. "I feel like I know you better already." Inclining his head toward her, the man studied her stoic expression. "Can't the act of telling both me and yourself that they won't hinder you be considered a certain type of disregard?" he whispered. Making no further comment on the matter, though, Izaya pulled open the door to allow Aila through. It wasn't only weaknesses he suspected she chose to ignore. Maybe she simply wasn't used to identifying certain emotions of her own, but the agent's apparent lack of expression for particular things irritated the trainee.

For example, she had yet to make a proper reaction to any of his teases or flirtations, whether positive or negative. And she was a teenager, wasn't she? What teenager, most notably a female one, was as emotionless as her? She had to be hiding her thoughts. Perhaps she was simply very well trained, or maybe her upbringing as a noble aided her in her professional attitude as an agent. Whatever the case, he still couldn't read her much at all, and it bothered him.

"You say that," he began, "But in the case you've never been in a bar before, let me give you warning. You - a lovely young girl on her own - will be seen as vulnerable to any lustful young man stupid enough to judge you by appearances alone. If one such man happens to walk up to you and start a discussion, what will you do?" He paused to allow her some time to think about it. "There's the chance he could offer to buy you a drink. Even if you say no, young men - especially drunk, horny ones - can be particularly persistent. It would be difficult to bring out pokemon or a weapon of any kind without drawing even more attention to yourself. So," he finished, meeting her pink gaze, "how would you handle that situation?"

((EDIT: Since people are already in the up-scale karaoke bar, just giving some visuals about how it might be portrayed: [1] [2] [3] Feel free to mention any furniture or anything else you don't see in these pictures if you think it would fit in!))

"About the same," he offered in response to Jerome's statement, but then there was the garage and a car and two girls - they looked like they knew what they were doing, so he offered an obligatory salute just in case they were superiors - and after a while they'd arrived. Or at least he assumed they did, and since the girl with fluffy white hair ran in there so fast, that was probably their destination. He hopped out of the car - on the driver's side, coincidentally - and he paused for a moment before suddenly seeming to remember something. He turned then and opened Faleen's door for her since she had yet to do so herself. "Here y'go," he said as he did so, without even thinking of the words or gesture too much.

No sooner did Faleen stop the vehicle, moving to turn down the music they had been listening to on the way, than the passenger side door opened and Nyx was suddenly done, grinning softly, she turned the keys to cut the engine, and was about to turn to open the door when it was suddenly opened for her.
Blinking, Faleen looked around to see one of the new faces in the car having opened it for he.
"Oh, thank you." She said pleasantly, though sounded a bit surprised. unbuckling herself and slipping out of the car, followed by her Umbreon.
"Inigo, was it?"

Once everyone was out of the car, and she locked it up the Agent walked patiently into the bar with the scattered group, lifting her head to scan the aria, easily spotting Nyx at one of the tables.
Wow, its been a while since she was in a place like this, It was one of the higher end places in the aria, though she's never heard of it, or been there.

Already she recognized many faced in here from Rockets in the HQ, and as more walked in she suspected they would soon outnumber the faces that they did not recognize.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jerome was far, far less upright about this, and clearly looked the less nicely dressed out of everyone, this fact didn't seem to bother him at all though, as he meandered into the bar with the rest of the group he had been with and glanced around.
Damn, high end place, he was... kinda amazed he wasn't being kicked out right now, though he suspected that might happen eventually.
