"I think Nyx knows I'm here or has sent people after me, I'm not sure. I know Luferius is on his way here. Just, get inside and whatever you do, don't come out." he said, quietly.

His eyes constantly scanned the area, looking for miles with his natural Dragon ability.

"Ari, don't be a fool." Faith pulled her back in. She had seen her wanting to help, but it was still foolish of her. "Luferius is covered in darkness. Who knows what he'll do even to you. The best thing you can do is to stay here and let Dark and I protect you from the inside while Ryn deals with Luferius on the outside."

Trying her best to remain calm, Ari did what she could to ignore the chatter behind her. She appreciated having her friends close by, but for some strange reason she could feel something inside of her starting to change. Her eyes began to get a reddish tint to them as she strode forward, intent on not being reluctant to act any longer.
"I said show yourself! I command you! Or will you remain hidden like a coward?"
Her fists clenched tightly to her sides as the odd pendant began to emit a glow of it's own.

From out of nowhere, black chains shot forth from miles away in all directions towards Ari. The Screaming of tortured souls echoed as the Chains neared it's destination.

Ryn snarled as he unsheathed his two blades, and rushed in front of Ari. As the chains neared even closer, he threw his white katana towards the location of the attacker. As it left his hands, the blade shot off in a brilliant white light. Taking the other katana, he began to deflect the chains, until they had wrapped around his blade and arm.

Unable to react as swiftly while controlling the chains, Acheron laughed maniacally as the holy blade ripped through his neck, severing the head from the body.

Jerking the chains as hard as he could, they broke away from the attacker towards him. As they drawed near, the stray chains formed into one thick chain, and wrapped themselves around Ari's ankle, as Ryn was unaware of this.

Stepping out from the thick trees near the side of the cathedral, Luferius was just in time to see the chains coming out from the other side. He rushed over quickly, drawing his rapier if force was needed. "Explain yourself, Ryn! Why is it that every time there is trouble, you seem to be the cause of it all?"

The air surrounding the cathedral was thick with the scent of freshly spilled blood, the scent was that of an incubus. Turning at Damien's words, Luferius looked down at the chains surrounding Ari's leg. Coming over, he knelt down to try removing them. "Forgive me, my queen. You should never have been put in such a situation." As he worked to find a weak point in the links, he saw that the other end was attached firmly to Ryn's blade and arm. Instantly, he glared at the man. "What are you doing? These are the chains of an incubus. Were you going to hand her over to such a creature?!"

Ryn looked down at Ari's leg, and then back at Luferius.

"Have you gone off your damn mind? If you notice, I severed the head clean off that damn incubus! Why the hell would I want to give her to him? I'm the one in love with her! Like I'm just going to go 'Oh, you can have the person I'm in love with and have tried over 500 bloody years to find.' Hell no."

Realizing what he said, he turned around to face Ari.. He wasn't really sure what to do after she had just heard his words.

Luferius' eyes widened as Ryn's words made an endless echo through his head. As they began to sink in, the emotions on his face ranged from shock to anger and murderous rage. However soon this all faded as a mask of calm and self-satisfaction settled into place. With a smile, he stood and placed an arm around Ari's shoulder. "I'm afraid that your affections, however sentimental and heartfelt they may be, are in the wrong place. According to the law of our kingdom in regards to royal relations, one must be of noble blood to even consider courting the queen." He grinned, knowing very well that Ryn was not even close to what might be considered a nobleman. "Not only do you fail to meet these standards, you are still considered a fugitive in our realm. You will be lucky to even get away with life imprisonment for your crimes."
