He feels that there is no need to restrain yourself from doing anything you want because its your life and noone else's. This often puts him against most figures of 'authority' which obviously paints him as a "bad boy". Despite this, he is very intelligent and is around the top 5 students of his class, he would probably be ranked 1 if he actually put work into studying. He is very excitable and is often listening to music. the type of music he listens to is usually based on his mood. He is fluent in japanese,english, and French. Noah is also a brutally honest person, often saying harsh or critical things to people if he feels that it is how he truly feels. He also carries around a book with him in which he is often seen writing in. This book has no real specific purposse other than something that Noah can express his feelings in, he draws doodles/pictures inside, other times he will write poems or short stories or just write random thoughts down or enclose something 'interesting' inside it. Bio: Noah was born in Nigeria and was raised there until the age of 3, he then moved to America. He lived a normal life in America, adopted the language, went to school. When he reached the age of 7, there was a fire in his home which took the lives of his mother and father. Noah survived but was had to live the next two years of his life in an oprhanage. On his tenth birthday, Noah was adopted by a french military man who was currently stationed in america and who's wife was unable to have children so Noah was more like something to give the wife company when he left instead of a child. Noah picked up the french language of the two due to them speakin french when in the hous. When Noah was 13, his stepfather died while serving the country. His stepmother didn't take logn to bounce back though, for when he was 14 she remaired a japanese businessman which eventually caused them to move to japan. The closest town to the business was Iwadate so Noah and his stepparents now live there. Most of the time she'll just stand around shyly, but if she winds up talking, it quickly turns into a rant about either video games or electronics. She has a general distrust of the female populations because of her mother's actions and find herself much more relaxed around males. Riley can be quite talkative around people she feels comfortable with and is actually rather sweet. Unfortunately, she is rather oblivious and isn't self aware. For example she has no idea the effect her body has on guys and will often run around in revealing clothing without meaning to. Bio: Riley's mother had a serve case of both agoraphobia and mysophobia (germaphobia). She lived a rather normal life until her mid thirties, when both phobias increased to the point where she could not step outside with out having a full blown panic attack. When she was born her mother feared that the outside world would contaminate her precious baby girl. In order to stop this horrible event from occurring, she hired a private doctor and bribed him a large sum of money to diagnose Riley with congenital analgesia, meaning she could not feel pain, and write up all the necessary paper work. Since Riley's father was at work most of the day, it was actually rather easy to hide the lie. Completely isolated from the world, she had to turn to something other then other humans for entertainment and companionship. She found an old busted radio her father had opened up to fix, but had never gotten around to finishing. She started futzing around with the wiring and before long she was hooked. Electronics became her passion. The time she wasn't being home schooled she could be found either messing around with old electronics or reading books on wiring. The love for electronics increased to include video games when her estranged uncle sent her an N64 on her birthday. She worked through game after game. As she grew her love grew and evolved, taking the expected coarse. Coding came next, basic HTML at first, but then more difficult things. Riley was always the type of person who challenged herself. It took a surprisingly long time and a very specific chain of events for things to fall apart. It was a cold winter day. The post man left the package why out by the fence instead of the front door because the path hadn't been shoveled. Her mother, thinking today was the day she's be able to venture outside, left the house to go and grab it, but had such a horrible panic attack, which her normal medication couldn't calm her down from, Riley had to give her the meds that knocked her out. With her mother asleep, she made dinner for her father who was on his way home form work and ended up slicing the palm of her hand really terribly. She attempted to stop the bleeding, but it just wouldn't stop. Luckily her father arrived a few minutes later, finding his daughter crying on the kitchen table and clutching a paper towel to her hand. He took her to the hospital where she got stitches and all her mother's lies fell apart. When everything finally calmed down, her father decided it was a bad idea for Riley to live at home and within her mother's reaches. So he got in contact with his brother Neal and it was decided that she would go live with him. Neal feel in love with a woman, moved to Japan to be with her, she left him, but he couldn't leave because he had fallen in love with the country. After getting situated and settled down, he enrolled her in Shirokidan. The only thing that links her to Riley is the identical headphones around her neck. This is the part of her who hates the fact that she freezes up in social situations or scares people off with her long rants, leaving her alone and with out friends. She wishes she could control what she wanted to say. He's usually very loud and obnoxious, often referring to himself as a shining star even though his peers think the very opposite, earning him the nickname black star. But behind his obviously flawed outer layer, Haburi is kind and caring and has one of the biggest hearts you will ever find, he would put his life on the line for his friends and loved ones even if he knows they wouldn't do the same for him. Bio: Haburi moved to Iwadate and started attending Shirokidan his sophomore year. He came by himself and stays in the dorms, his stepfather sends him money every month to live off of. But Not much is known about his past before he moved to iwadate. Most say that his parents sent him to Iwadate to get him out of their hair, but Haburi obviously denies it. Even though he denies it, he never talks about his past and usually changes the subject when asked about it. Whatever it is, he doesn't want to remember. Ever since coming to Shirokidan, Haburi has joined the martial arts club for karate due to his natural talent for it and very fast learning ability. He personally led the karate club to victories in many tournaments and matches against other schools. If it wasn't for Haburi the karate club's trophy case would definitely be lacking a few trophies. Bio: Saizo grew up in an abusive household, from the time he was old enough to talk until he was 16, his father would beat and abuse him. He was never tough enough or smart enough to appease his father, and he silently took the beatings for the majority of his life. One night he found his father passed out in his chair and his mother gone for the night. Saizo grabbed a pillow and carefully mounted the chair so he could put his full strength into what he was about to do. After a minute of struggling, his father went limp and Saizo was the happiest he'd ever been in his life. During the struggle his drunken father apparently vomited into his smothered mouth, and the morgue determined the cause of death to be drowning. His mother and the police were never convinced. No charges were filed against him and no formal investigation was launched. A few nasty rumors have floated around the city and given him a nasty reputation. Personality: Niiya is a quiet and shy person, usually keeping to herself and her fat stack of literature. However, she does know how to talk to people, and can be fairly confident when she needs to, such as when discussing things in a mathematical or scientific sense. Or, you know, when Suzu is around. She's quite easily flustered, and lacks a lot of experience in trying to deal with boys, but that doesn't mean she doesn't like them. Some of them just....scare her a bit more than usual. She's also quite intelligent, and great at splitting her focus, having a habit of listening to one book while reading another...and still retaining a fair amount of memory of both books. A true Book lover. Bio:Niiya was (and still is) a plain girl that likes books. She reads them all the time, and for the most part, neglected most everyone else in favor of pursuing knowledge, or diving away into a fiction novel. She's usually found reading in the library religiously, and is rumored to be the reason none of the books are ever out of place. One day, while reading up on some homework she met Suzu, whose friendly demeanor, and all around cheery disposition got her to open up to some other people. Thanks to the girl's persistence in getting her to hang out somewhere other than the library, Niiya became fast friends with her, helping her out from time to time if she had something to ask related to school. (Not to mention having a shopping buddy, and someone to gush at over things when she wanted.) Eventually, she met Sai through Suzu (and was promptly terrified from the rumors), but quickly learned he wasn't quite the same menace some people made him out to be. While she's still uneasy about the figure, she doesn't fear him so long as Suzu's around. Especially given how well he performs on tests and such, which impresses the junior, though she strives to become Oshu's top student herself.
