His teeth gritted into a snarl, and he reached up to his mouth and bite the metal guards on his fingers and pulled them off. One, then the other. His hand was still wrapped up, but he tried to grip the rainbow ribbon with his hand hand, wincing at the terrible pain that shot up from his hand. The warning and concern about loosing his fingers permanently returned, but he continued to pull Iris close just as she moved closer to him. The ribbon was hot to the touch.
"You're right, little senshi. If I kill the problem, eliminate the problem, destroy the problem, then when your side is no more, then there will be no reason to fight. To be this way. It will be the same for you. You don't think THEY have killed." He looked directly into Iris' eyes, not even glancing at the little girl as she spoke. "....They have killed and did they care about age even when it was told to them? No. There are no age limits when it comes to war." He continued to pull as the girl came closer.
"Break my arm. I've been through hell." As the rainbow senshi came closer, she would see the affects of said hell. His burned ear, short, cut hair on one side, and angry red neck. The fact his hand was completely covered in bandages, not to mention that when he first saw her, he didn't have an eye patch. "...What's another loss?"

She paused, she hadn't heard much of what Sailor Iris said, until she heard 'The Cat'. "He broke the Cat?" Her butter yellow eyes glaring at him as he tried to fight from the rainbow.
"You are a big bully!" She said in horror, "The cat didn't do anything to you."
Why did people have to be such bullies? Hug-bell frowned hiding behind Sailor Iris, shaking her head at Wolfy, "No, It won't solve anything." She continued to insist, "If you keep killing person after person that doesn't agree with you or see eye to eye eventually you'll have killed the whole world. That's not how it works." She looked at Iris, "That's not how it works right?"
She shook her head, "I don't believe you, I don't think she would unless she absolutely had to." She was hiding behind Iris but she was trying to defend the older senshi to, knowing he tried to hurt her was one thing, but hurting ********* and Barnaby? The Captain wasn't on her good side anymore.

The boy's words stung. It was like salt in an open wound when he mentioned You don't think THEY have killed. The other details were trivial, since they didn't really apply to her own experiences with death. She didn't even know the age of the Lieutenant she had killed. All she remembered was how his head went rolling down the sidewalk. Even though she had been protecting Metis from meeting a similar demise, the guilt had never gone away.
As she got closer, she jerked the arm holding the ribbon a bit, as if to try and pull the arm out of the socket. "I ain't no preacher, but how many innocent people did ya kill before ya experienced hell?!" She jerked at the ribbon again as she got closer again. "How many starseeds did ya steal jus' fer th'Negaverse?"
She was within the boy's reach. Her gold eyes were already looking over the captain cautiously. "I ain't sayin' I ain't a sinner, but ya definitely ain't a saint!"

"No. Not a sinner. No saint." He denied none of that. He killed. He killed often. He saw death by his hands. Their hand. The hands of others on the hands of those he loved. Those he knew. Those he wish he knew, and those he thanks he didn't have to know so that the killing wasn't as painful. He'd seen organs and blood, crushed skulls and cuts, stab wounds and open sores. Rips. Tears. Deep canyons of open flesh. A landscape of carnage from different fractions, different leaders, friends and enemies, all by different reasons and names and under some excuse. No one was incapable of killing. If they didn't kill, the would kill, and that potential was there.
He would continue to kill. It was who he was created to do, his use, his purpose to continue to fight, and a downright necessity in living. It was who he was and what he was made into, but he wasn't alone.
".....an animal." He growled.
He stopped tugging, and this close, knew his own weapon would be useless if he wanted to aim, but he wasn't aiming for the purpose of using his knives. The chains were heavy enough to have their own uses, and with her using her own weapon to hold him there, she was also there to be just close enough for him to swing his own chains at her head, hoping to knock them right into her head. "We're all animals!"

Hugbell watched them both, she had been forgotten. Not that it mattered, the child frowned heavily as they spoke. He called them animals, all of them? She watched him try to take the chains and hit Sailor Iris with them. Her tiny hand, the one uninjured grabbed out for the chain itself, being watchful of the blade.
Something didn't seem right about being called an animal. "You had a choice" For the second time she'd fought she was braver and she had to disagree with the captain, "Every time you did something bad you could've choose not to do it." She'd heard it before, she'd been told by her parents on the occasional time she'd misbehaved.
"I don't think animals have that option." She was trying to hold the chain with all her weight. He wasn't going to hurt Iris too, she wouldn't let him, not with the fact he'd hurt ********* on her mind. She looked up at him, butter yellow eyes focused on the Captain her words were louder, "You could've choose not to be a bully."

"An animal?!" She managed to get that out before getting a chain to the face. Even with that little distance between them, it was enough to cause her to flinch. Part of the chains even pinched the skin on her forehead. She expected there to be several more hits (an "animal" wouldn't stop attacking after a single hit), and in all honesty was surprised to find that this was not the case. Her eyes had been pinched shut for a short moment, but when they opened, they saw a small ribbon-adorned hand latched onto the Captain's chain.
"Kid's right... yer jus' sh*ttin' out excuses. Sorry a** excuses!" Iris grabbed onto the chibi senshi's hand and tried to push it back, out of the way. After this attempt, that same hand then began to swing in the Captain's direction. She might not have been the wrath of Hell itself, but the Senshi of Rainbows certainly wouldn't mind trying one of her infamous left hooks.

Iris' fist hit hard, slamming into his jaw and sending him to his knees. There was no give to the ribbon about his hand and he jerked on her line, unable to roll and only falling down to his knees. The chain dispersed as he touched his cheek, shaking off the lights about his eyes. For a moment, he said and did nothing, before shooting his eyes up at her. "What's your excuse?! You killed them!" He shouted, laying Iris and all senshi to take the blame for what they did. They all killed. They all would kill. They ALL had their excuses and reasons. They'll kill you.
His eyes darted to his wrapped hand and his position. Two against one. She'd kill him.
Gripping the ground, he pushed himself up and charged, aiming for her stomach.
What am I then? Not a sinner. Not a saint. Not human, animal, or youma. An officer, barely. Not a threat but enough to be killed. He didn't very much feel like Wolframite or Ladon any more.

Hug-bell watched as her hand was batted away from the chain before Iris gave him a left hook, causing the chibi to flinch when it connected. She couldn't help but think how that had to hurt even if he was mean it didn't make her any less sorry for him.
She watched him fall to his knees, it wasn't long before he got up though and charged at Iris. Hug-bell squeaked trying to pull on Iris' hand to move her, using both hands without thinking, causing the injured one to throb more tears coming back to her eyes "Watch out!" She didn't want Iris hurt, it was the last thing the chibi wanted to happen.

"I ain't got excuses!" Excuses were bullsh*t. In her life, with the exception of this whole Sailor Senshi thing, Ellie Spectre did not have room for bullsh*t. She couldn't tell her family or friends about being a Sailor suited soldier of justice. However, if she failed a test in history, it was because she didn't study. If a piece didn't fit in the proper place while she worked on The Vortex, it was her own fault for selecting the wrong sized piece.
The child tried to pull the older senshi away, but Iris was firmly set in place. A rock which Hugbell could not move. She stood there, not denying anything, but she didn't confirm anything either. "Tell me, who I kill..." Her question was cut half a syllable short as she felt the boy's head collide with her stomach. She had been caught by surprise, that much was evident when the rainbow trapping the boy's hand vanished thanks to a loosened grip on her end, but she tried to recover as quickly as she could by letting out a loud grunt.
However, even with being hit off her guard, the yellow-suited senshi stood her ground firmly. Rather than try to push him away (which would have been a baser instinct), the senshi's hands reached out to try and grab the back of his uniform. Her lips pressed into a smile. "Good t'know ya can take a hit..." With that, she attempted to return the feeling she had in her own stomach by thrusting her knee towards the captain's gut.

Conversation was cut short when both fighters had the wind knocked out of them. Wolframite hadn't had enough momentum and certainly lacked the weight to knock the senshi over, girl or not, and while he was now freed of her ribbon, he was then rendered nearly motionless by the swift knee to the gut. Without being linked to the senshi any longer, he was able to push back and stumble a few feet away as he held his gut, smearing blood from his cut hand onto his uniform as he caught his breath. Unfortunately, he knew that taking a breather wasn't something you could do on the battlefield. Not unless you wanted to die. Do you want to die?
His eyes flickered up a moment, curled in as he was, to look at the senshi and then at the smaller girl beside her. He could attack Iris, but there was always something that hurt more. The worst pain wasn't a direct hit.
It a flicker, Wolframite was gone, the place he once stood devoid of the short Negaverse Captain.
In seconds, he wrapped his arms about Hugbell's neck and jumped back, gaining just a bit of distance.

Hug-bell watched as the pair fought, Wolfy making contact with Iris, she backed up. Wincing again when Iris put a knee into the captain's stomach. She couldn't really say not to, her injured hand was pulled back to her chest.
He'd just rammed the senshi of rainbows in the stomach, Hug-bell could only assume he deserved it. Then before Hug-bell could realize he was gone, and suddenly she was grabbed. Squeaking as she felt his arm around her throat hands flying up to try to make sure he didn't choke her. "Please let go...." She whimpered pondering if it was safe to try to kick him. If she flailed wildly though he could choke her... The chibi found herself in a rock a hard place. "Please.... it doesn't have to be this way."

There was some sort of satisfaction in feeling a hit connect, causing a momentary smirk to form upon the blonde's lips. He staggered away, almost as if he had enough. However, she wasn't done with him yet.
No, not by a long shot. Sailor Iris sprang in his direction, a couple stray feathers from her bow flying away. Before she get her fist smashed into his face again, he seemed to disappear. "Sh*t!" She always forgot that they could do that. At first, she figured that he had simply just escaped like the coward he obviously was. That was until she heard the miserable whimpering of the kid-senshi.
Spinning on her feet, the yellow-suited senshi soon enough saw what had actually happened. Her body tensed a bit, almost as if she felt like moving might have actually caused him to snap the child's neck. Her fingers twitched, tempted to form a fist to make a slicer. However, it would take too long.
"What a coward..." she snarled under her breath. However, who she was directing it to was not clear. The Captain had claimed a hostage in a sense in a desperate move, and the child was whining in an effort to get freed. And there was nothing Sailor Iris could do without compromising the whole thing.
"You..." She shifted her jaw slightly, as if testing out what she wanted to say. "You gotta stand on yer own two feet..." The elder senshi's body was still tense, but slowly she stood herself up to her full height.
"Yer own two feet!"

Hug-Bell wasn't really sure what to do, he could choke her, and the chibi senshi wasn't all that kneen on being choked she was trying to pry his arms from her neck. The words from Sailor Iris caused the chibi to still. Own two feet.
Apparently the only answer was to kick him.. or stomp his toe... and hope it took some effect in actually making him let go without damage. The child seemed to be unsure but she eventually brought up a foot before hoping she could aim well enough that it hit his knee. She was trying to mule kick him hoping it would make him let go, it was either that or she might've just doomed herself.

It was a good first try on the smaller senshi's part, but no one explained height difference to her. On someone taller, it might have done more, but her heel had only hit on his leg. It wasn't enough to make him drop her, but a gritting of his teeth showed that it wasn't pleasant either. The energy signatures of both the chibi senshi and the Rainbow Punk were making his skin crawl, and holding the girl with one bleeding and one bandaged hand made him want to just scream. Call the quits.
Leaning over, he growled hot breath into the girl's ear. "Next time you're alone, you're dead." With that, he threw the girl away from him as hard as he could. Without another word, he turned and kicked away.

The Senshi stood there, tall and unmoving, as the child seemed to take her advice seriously. It was definitely a wussy hit, and Iris was clearly not impressed (what had she been expecting?). The only shift in her posture came the moment the one eyed captain leaned closer to the child. Her body shrank down slightly from her previously straightened out stance, as if readying herself to attack if there was a need for her to attack.
What happens now?
Sailor Iris heard her own voice in her head, seeming to second guess her own actions. Her eyes narrowed a bit in an effort to block out the question in her mind.
What if she dies?
A small bead of sweat rolled down her brow. Certainly, it hadn't been long at all, but for a few seconds, something seemed to happen that the Senshi of Rainbows was not used to. The world seemed to slow down for her. Life never slowed down for the tomboy, always moving at the actual pace things happened in. Her eyes blinked open and shut for what felt like at least half a minute, when it was just a fraction of a second. Sailor Iris was new to this feeling, and in all honesty, she did not like it at all.
It was as the Captain tensed to push the smaller senshi like a make-shift obstacle in a chase that the world seemed to return to its usual speed. The child was shoved away from him, and in an effort to prevent further damage, the elder of the yellow suited senshi rushed forward to try and catch her. It was a desperation tactic, but Sailor Iris didn't realize how much of a desperation tactic it truly was at the immediate moment.
