TRP shook her head at Claire's suggestion, "After that cave-in I'm not anxious to start bashing holes in walls. This place is unstable. A single powerful attack could bring the ceiling down on us. We need to find another way out.

Doppler's searching would find a tunnel in the rear of the cavern on the other side of the Galactic ship, likely leading to another cavern.

The Elite sighed as the group assessed the situation, "We have to find another way out. Aila's right, there might be something useful in the Galactic ship. Axel." She pointed at the Charizard, "You carry him." She gestured at the pilot.

With a nod, the pokémon scooped up the injured man.

"Let's go.." TRP gestured for the group to follow as she proceeded onward into the darkness.

As the Rockets neared the fallen jet they'd be able to make out figures beside it, appearing in the weak light of the Rocket pokémon. The figures didn't seem anxious for a fight, which was probably fortunate, given the circumstances.

Once close enough they'd be able to see Deimos, sitting beside the jet. Actually, huddled would be a better word. It looked like he'd made it all of two steps out the hatch before ending up in his current spot. He had his knees drawn up to his chest, arms around his knees, cape wrapped around him like a blanket, eye wide. He was hyperventilating in short rapid breaths.

Standing nearby was Orion with a Milotic coiled up next to him, with his hands casually held behind his head and that silly grin still plastered on his face. Despite the fact that a bruise was now forming over one eye. A smarmy look was passed towards Tethys in a side glance, ignoring the nearby Rockets. "Never thought I'd get to kiss your a**!"

He then frowned as he tilted his gaze down towards Deimos. "What's with him?"

Tethys had stopped beside their leader. Her frown twitched, indicating she'd registered Orion's comment on a subconscious level, but her attention was solely on the purple-haired man huddled in his cape, dark eyes narrowed in an intent expression.

"Sir?"

Deimos continued to stare ahead, breathing quickly. He didn't look like he'd heard Tethys speak.

"Sir?"

Still nothing.

"Julian!"

Deimos snapped out of his trance and the rapid breathing froze. He focused on his second in command with his one wide eye. "...Tethys?"

His commander was a pale shape in the gloom. "I'm here, sir."

Orion just blinked dumbly at this exchange. Whoa... Julian? Seriously? The green haired man huffed and looked away, "Geez, not in public, guys."

Deimos blinked and spotted Orion, then the faint shapes of the Rockets nearby. Realizing they had an audience, he stumbled to his feet, attempting to compose himself. He still looked like a nervous wreck, eye darting around the dark cavern.

Once their leader was standing, a blow clipped Orion's ear. "He's claustrophobic. Shut up."

TRP frowned at this scene. She eyed the Rockets, then the Galactics. "......okay, look. Before we all start fighting again.. and cause a cave-in that will probably kill us.."

Deimos tensed at the thought, latching onto Tethys' arm.

"..we should consider that we're all trapped down here.. regardless of who's fault it is." She shot a glare at the Galactics. "We don't all want to die here.. so I vote we work together to find a way out. We can resume trying to kill each other once we're outside."

Retrieving his staff from Char and swinging it over his shoulder, Aulus sauntered along behind TRP to the sad little trio of Galactics. Claustrophobic eh? Ha. The scarred man smirked to himself a little, but at least had the sense to keep his mouth shut while the elite agent spoke. He had to admit that she talked sense, and so even when she finished speaking he didn't chip in with anything smart arsed. Instead he shrugged his broad shoulders, saying simply; "If you're sure we can trust them not to backstab us before that ma'am." She was the boss for now, and he could watch his own back at least... And Claire's, he'd watch her back too.

....what.

........what.

...what.

Was she dreaming? Had she died in the crash and this was some twisted sort of hell or something? Had TRP seriously suggested they work with them? Ugh, could this mission get any worse?

She held her arm out to the Pikachu beside her, whose cheeks stopped sparking before he jumped up and clambered up onto her shoulder. The sound of knuckles cracking could be heard as she walked over to stand near Aulus, and crossed her arms over her chest. She was not pleased. Not pleased at all, but an order from a superior was an order from a superior. They'd just have to work with them. Closely. s**t, this sucked.

Aila did have a good point, the Jet was bound to have something they could use, Faleen wouldn't have at all minded taking a look at it anyway.
Though she suspected it wouldn't be that easy.

With Umbreon next to her, she walked with the group, toward where the Galactic Jet had crashed.
It didn't take very long to see that the Galactics had survived.
though the leader with the cape, seemed to be huddled in distress.

She stopped with the other, tensing, and thinking about the situation. They were stuck... in a cave... with Galactics, who probably won't let her get close to the jet.

She looked over at TRP with wide eyes at what the Elite was saying.
The reasoning was sound, Faleen knew this, but the idea of working with Galactics?!
She didn't say anything, but her jaw did lock, and her face face flushed red. Clearly, she wasn't fond of this idea.
Though she said nothing against it... TRP was Elite, and she knew best.

Aila followed the procession through the shadows, slowing to a halt as human forms coalesced from the earthy blackness. She narrowed her eyes critically at the small assembly of what she recognized to be the Galactic trio. Their leader appeared injured, at least mentally. It was a shame that none of them were dead, but she would take psychologically crippled as an acceptable substitute. She raised an incredulous eyebrow at the decision to work together - why not strike now why their leader was more incompetent than usual? - but she yielded to the decision of the elite. Surely enough, she had no wish to die in some arbitrary cave in the middle of Kodo.

"Very well," she murmured. They would simply need to be ready to act in the event they were betrayed - or be ready to betray.

Doppler flew back to Nyx and the charizard, who had also exited the helicopter. He chittered and squeaked and flapped around in a wild circle. Tazieff cocked her head to the side and rumbled softly; The small bat pokemon took off flying towards the galactic's ship, and the large dragon pokemon lumbered off after it. "Hey! Where are you- Over there? What's over there?"

She was surprised to find the galactics, alive, not being killed or tied up... Work with them? It made sense, for the moment... "Hm... Alright."

The two pokemon, however, didn't stop at the galactics, and the charizard started walking on all fours around the ship, following the crazed bat pokemon to the tunnel he'd found.

"Just keep your eyes on them.." TRP answered concerns about back stabbing. "Is there anything in your jet that can help get us out of here?"

Deimos had started muttering quietly under his breath. He didn't seem to be actually speaking to anyone. It seemed more like a nervous habit, distracting him from panic.

"Yes Ma'am" Faleen replied, in the quiet undertone, looking down at her Umbreon who was starting fixed at the enemy, that they were supposed to be working with now...

At the mention of anything useful int eh jet she glanced back up, eyebrows arching slightly.

"Banette, take a look around, remain in standby." She muttered as she reached to one of the pokeballs on her thigh, tossing it up to release her Banette.
The pokemon hovered saluting to his master before blinking out of sight. Faleen returned his pokeball to its holder.

Tethys half-turned, putting herself between Deimos and the Rockets in the process. The pale woman was impassive as she considered the unspoken offer - work together. Her eyes shifted to Orion to gauge his reaction, then back.

Apparently satisfied with wrecking their jet and trapping everyone in a cave (not that she herself would take responsibility for these actions,) the Galactic commander blinked once. "There are binoculars, sandwiches, and a book of logic puzzles," she replied without irony.

"Oh, logic puzzles. Brilliant. Good to know we won't have to be too bored," Aila murmured cynically. With a sigh, she righted herself, allowing a stoic professionalism to take the place of irritation. "Do you have basic first aid supplies, at least?" she asked, sparing a thought for their injured pilot.

"Well-" Nyx leaned her head and started to walk around to get a view of her pokemon, who had stopped in front of a dark spot. "Grab the sandwiches, I think they found something." Food would be useful, especially if they were going to be stuck in here for a while.
PostPosted: Fri Apr 22, 2011 10:10 pm

TRP nodded at the apparent agreement to cooperate. "..food is good, at least. It'll keep us alive.." She shrugged. "Let's find a way out of here." Keeping one eye on the Galactics, TRP proceeded onward in the direction Nyx's pokémon had indicated.

It looked like Deimos would go in any direction Tethys did, because he was still clinging to her arm. As the group moved from the main cavern to a smaller tunnel the volume of his muttering grew with his stress. It would be easier to hear now that he was reciting a long chain of numbers.

She hoped they wouldn't be stuck in here for a long enough time where they would need sandwiches... that Galactic made. But she couldn't hope for much
"Get the sandwiches" she said, to what seemed to be the cave walls. when TRP said it was a good idea.

After she said this, a dark form of the Banette reappeared by the jet, drifting in the shuffle through and find what his master had told him to get. pulling up with the bags a moment later
"Ba- Nette!"

Faleen let her eyes drift over the Jet as they passed it, following the Elite to the aria that Nyx's pokemon had found.hands following behind her back, Umbreon's rings illuminating the portions they were walking past.
Such a shame, yet another one that she wouldn't be able to observe more closely.

At this she sighed a little and looked back to where they were heading.
Glancing over with a slight frown at the Galactic leader who was muttering numbers.
Benette couldn't help a snicker at the man's nervous behavior drifting around Faleen's head a few times.

Nyx followed her pokemon closely, but the mumbling from the Galactic leader was irritating, and distracting her from watching where she was stepping; This resulted in the scientist stubbing her toe and tripping over a large rock. "Ow!- What is he mumbling about?" She snapped, turning around to look at Tethys and Deimos.

Doppler and Tazieff didn't seem to notice, they were intent on seeing where this was going.

Tethys made a small noise that didn't quite warrant the term irritation at the proprietary way the Rockets seemed to be swarming about the cavern. All six- well, seven of them, to count the limp arm that flopped over Axel. The Galactic commander looked less than pleased, but seemed willing enough to follow the Pokemon's judgement, releasing a Starmie to add to the illumination.

"Shine."

A ten-pointed star spun into the air and floated, spilling red light from its core that began shading into orange.

Weird shadows flickered and twisted as Tazieff's flame meandered over the walls, throwing features into sharp relief and making crannies and crevices inky oblivion. Tethys led Deimos along as one would an elderly relative - with care and without interrupting his mumbled monologue.

A flat expression met Nyx's glare. "It's pi," the Galactic explained, her sentences clipped and short. "It keeps him calm."
