Pachelbel nodded and took the sack. "Thank you, its how my family makes a living." he said then sighed to himself. There was no way he could reattach the bag to the harness, and while it wasn't much further home, carrying it in his mouth was still annoying.

Noticing the diffulties the stallion would have with his bag Amethyst quickly decided to intervine. He already to seem a little afraid of her so how much worse could it get? "Do you need some help with that?" she asked him nodding towards the sack. She had chosen her words carefully of course he likely didn't want her help but he did seem to need it. Amethyst was eager to help it was a rare occasion that one was more suspicious of her than she was of them and that gave her a confidence that would likely fade once she left. She wouldn't be puchy, she could make him let her help but she would gladly do what she could

Without thinking Pach began to talk his voice muffled by the bag. He rolled his eyes upwards in amused annoyance with himself then set the bag on the ground. "Uh...I...can manage." he said. "It's not that far to home." he said motioning towards the grove just on the horizon.

"Are you sure?" she moved only a few steps closer as she spoke, she felt it odd to be so far away from someone as she spoke but she made sure to give im plenty of personal space. "If it's not that far then you won't have to deal with my company very long," she added playfully. Of course she wouldn't try to stop him from leaving she would just prefer to go on with him rather than be left behind.

Pach nodded. "I'm sure." he said. He swallowed and tried not to look nervous. "Just a quick trot home, and its all over." he also didn't want to think about what his mother would say about bringing a girl home. Rondel could be overly protective of her boys, and he had a feeling she wouldn't much care for this one.
"Thanks though." he said trying to be polite. "for...everything." he finished.

"Well, ok" she scuffed her hoof on the ground, "if you think that's best...If you change you're mind I'll still probably be here" she added. Smiling gently her eyes sparkled sadly, perhaps she had come on too strong. Her moods had been odd lately, maybe she needed some more interaction as she was still socially awkward and didn't know what to say when.
