[ Beta Five entering! He participated in the Chasm Game, though I'm unsure if that counts as a task or not. ]

...it was a bulletin board.

Well, now, I was expecting something a lot more exciting than THAT, Beta Five thought, eying it with an interested sort of curiosity.

"So you're dead. Wanna live again?"

...okay, THAT'S a bit more like it. Beta Five squinted a bit as he read the rest of the notice, tilting his head and lifting a brow. This was certainly a twist; live again?

...did he even want to live again?

He debated this for several minutes, tapping a finger against his chin thoughtfully. After a while he gave a shrug, reached for a pen, and scrawled his name.

Zeta Seven is entering for the chance at the shiny. He participated in Chasm Crossing

It was a simple note, stuck in place by a weapon. It was so plain against the richly furnished environment that it begged to be inspected.

"So, you're dead."
Well, thank you for making that painfully clear. Seven thought while rolling his eyes at the paper, sorely tempted to try to rip it off the wall for taunting him.

"Wanna live again?"

He froze in place, stunned by what it told him. He rolled it over and over through his mind as he balled up his fists. It was a chance to go back.
A chance to redeem himself, and that was impossible to pass up.

Do overs were rare, and shouldn't be wasted.
"Heck yea I'm in." He yelled out as he slammed his fist into the paper, probably a bit harder than he needed to.
"Z7, Zeta Squad"

He had to admit, death had its luxurious perks, but being alive had a different type of thrill to it. He might be making a grave mistake doing this,

But if that's the case, he'll blame it on the alcohol.

Zeta Six (Bones) is entering for another shot at the coveted piece. He participated in Chasm Crossing in the Abandoned town as well.

Feeling rather much like a sardine he squeezed in among others to view the note stabbed through to the bulletin board.

It was nothing elaborate, but the words rang out easily and clear to Bones as he read it. He blinked and tilted his head slightly. I've just gotten here and already? A smiled crossed his face. "Well, might as well give this another shot." He wasn't sure on how the entire You're dead now, oh wait you're alive now thing would go, but laid his skepticism to rest.

If he died again at least he knew what was on the other side. Then he and Zeta Seven could throw whiskey on each other and pretend to get drunk. A smirk crossed his face. Now that was looking to be some fun. A perk in the darkness.

Squeezing back in he pressed an outstretched finger against the paper.

ζ VI, Zeta Squad.

Take two. Bones thought, moving back and watching as others signed their names. Glancing over he noticed Zeta Seven and a small smile crossed his lips. "Well captain, here we go again."

((I would like to sign up as a nameless spirit - Alpha Two is dead, not concluded, but will not for the goddamn life of me allow me to sign her up. XP Bossy creature.

A-2 did participate in Last Man Standing, and got squnched.))

((α XI, Alpha Squad. Participated in Last Man Standing

Goodbyes. A-Eleven had the feeling she had never really been good at them. After the first few comrades wandered off into whatever lay beyond the door, she went to a soft plushy couch and sat down. A bit of a sniffle, a tear she would wipe away if she could…it was all so final. Even before she’d heard someone talking about what was beyond the door…the room had held the sense that the door was the last stop for them. That this room was their final chance to be friends.

Yet, she just sat back and watched. She should have tried harder. Should have been more ruthless, should have protected her teammates better…yet she was still the girl on the beach. The girl who watched. So she watched.

Then the others had seen the note. She’d missed it, too. When had it arrived? Eh. She couldn’t know. But she could try. A chance to live again. A chance to try again. Would she be able to hack it? She didn’t know. She watched as some chose to sign up, and others chose to sit it out. A-Eleven was on the fence. Til A-Seven had called out for everyone to sign up. If it was numbers they needed, she could provide that.

Standing, A-Seven moved to the board to add her name: α XI, Alpha Squad.

((Eta Three entering. He participated in the Chasm Game, and like others have pointed out I'm not sure if this counts as a task or not.))

From his last memory of things he remembered seeing Eta Two's face before he slipped and fell into the chasm. He wished his companion well with whatever he'd face next and hopefully the compassionate lad would find someone else that would travel with him and help him through whatever was thrown at the alive and well next. He himself however was far from alive though he wouldn't say unwell. Death it seemed presented no pain it seemed, after having fallen for some time he landed comfortably upon a couch.

Sitting there rather bemused he was reminded of The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams or even something found in a Monty Python sketch, these events were all rather surreal and now dead, he appeared to be in a lounge surrounded by others in a similar situation. Off to one side one or two people seemed to be braving the thought of walking through a door into what seemed like nothingness but off to the other side of the room past all those drinking themselves into a stupor was a crowd gathered around a notice board.

Curiosity got the better of him and he rose from the comfortable lounge chair and walked across to shoulder his way through the small crowd to get a better look at the note which seemed to be causing such a commotion. Close enough to see, he read the words pinned dramatically to the otherwise stark board with a dagger. He shrugged thinking to himself, 'I'm dead, what harm could it do.' Also walking through that door seemed rather final and he doubted he'd find any sort of answer within that foreboding darkness. Thus he rose up on the balls of his feet lent across the shoulders of the person blocking his access in front of him and pressed a finger to the notice the words,

Eta Three

(Forgot to roll, so please consider this as part of the signing up process)

There it was, Zeta seven saw his name standing on that paper, proudly declaring that he wanted to cheat death.

The jostling around him was comforting to say the least. This chaos, as body parts ran into him it reminded him that they wanted to try this to. Their wills haven't given up, even if their physical bodies did.

Sure, living again meant dying all over again, But it wasn't something to fear anymore. Heaven, Hell? Nope, it was a bar, alcohol was waiting for him at worlds end. Even if no one could see if behind that gas mask that made them all indistinguishable, someone must have felt the smile stretching out from ear to ear on his face.

Kirk had to move away from the paper as the other mounds fought to move closer to it and give it the old college try. That paper was lucky it can't be grabbed, there might have been a grand old game of keep away at this point. As the horde of limbs moved closer to it, it was easier to spot those who didn't, one of which was a familiar orange suit and pink bandages.

"Zeta Six, Bones." he said with twitch of a smile on his lips. "I know you were loyal to me, but really, you didn't have to follow me to the great beyond." he told him with great mirth and he waved his arms in the air to accentuate the whole encompassing room they were in. "At least we found the bar, took us long enough huh?" He asked as he rested his back against the smooth table. "So, your plannin' on a resurrection too eh?"

[A10 played in LAST MAN STANDING <3]

"GUYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS I MISSED YOU" ;__________;

A10 cannonballed into the group like a cannon cat (whatever a cannon cat was), throwing herself at A7. Ah, just like old times.

It was then that she caught sight of the noticeboard... and the notice on said noticeboard. Already on it there were almost a billion names; but two of them were enough to convince her that this was the right choice. Not even bothering to read, A10 touched her the sheet of paper, beside A7 and Z8.

The words "Alpha 10" appeared, in bright red.
