He flushed at the continued discussion of... that evening. He fidgeted when he mentioned calling her... he supposed he could send her a message on the interweb? Perhaps. It would be awkward... but maybe... he didn't know. Ghouls still baffled him. She seemed to like him, though...
At the last question, the flush continued, his grip on his notebook tightening as he glanced away, not wanting the Kelpie to see his face.

When Christof blushed, and blushed hard, it was a mix of various reds, dark pinks, and even a bit of discolored purpleish colors. A rainbow of pure embarrassment, and Calder delighted in it. "AWWW! Who's getting all flustered?" Yup. Leave it to a true friend to poke fun at you when you didn't want it, and Calder was there to be just that sort of bro. Leaning in, he grinned at his friend. "You ghoul-killer you." He punched his friend playfully in the shoulder, nowhere near as hard as he could hit and nowhere close to how hard the Igor could punch.

And Christof shoved back, harder than he should have, but not as hard as he could have.

Calder almost stumbled back into a bookshelf, but laughed all the same. "Hey. Keep your hands on the ghouls." He teased, watching the line clear up ahead. The cashier rolled her eyes at the two boils, no doubt not finding their fooling around entertaining.

Still looking embarrassed by his comrade, Christof yanked the books back to gently push onto the counter, glancing up at the cashier before then dumping the bag of seeds onto the counter as though she didn't believe someone as shabby as him could afford his purchase.
He was a proper customer. On a mission.
With his friend.
Certainly not talking about ghouls he might like.
Or be obsessing over.
He knew he had been, but... it was hard not to. She was just so...

Still snickering, Calder waited for the books to be bought before following the Igor out of the bookstore. He wasn't ready to go back to campus just yet. "Hey, let's walk around a bit. I wanna stop by the foodsnort real quick." He was parched and wanted a drink. Maybe try and get the Igor to spill more about ghouls.

Christof shrugged, already thumbing through his copy of the book intently with the others in their bag slung over his elbow. The Foodsnort didn't interest him- he didn't eat, after all. There were still a few seeds left over, not many, but he wondered if he was supposed to give them back to his Mistress or not. Probably. He had accomplished his goal, no need for frivolities.

As they stepped out of the bookstore, the Igor's nose already planted in the pages of one of the books, Calder was looking around for a place to buy a drink. Looking about, he spotted a lot of students walking around, but what caught his eye were the herds of ghouls moving from store to store.
Turning his head about, he noticed more of them, and started to smile. "Hey buddy. I got a great idea. Come with me." And with that, Calder started to move to a more open spot. Some nice wall they could lean out and scope out the chicks. If Scaentine's had been nice for the Igor, Calder hoped to see him have two chicks on his arm by the end of the day!
