Meistu pulled her scroll back out and sighed looking at it for a moment, she was about to open it when she felt a cold chill run down her spine a familiar one she quickly tucked her scroll into her coat but instead of a pocket she put it down between her breasts and looked up to see Rizu, he looked different he was much taller than before, and he looked very uncomfortable, like he was going to vomit or something but then when she heard what he wanted she had to bite her lip till it bled to keep from laughing, instead she made a small pained noise. Once she had regained her composure she caught her breath and then looked up at him and reached up pulling him down so she could whisper in his ear she felt so short next to him but she minded that it made her feel like she could hide better. "Inside your scroll you have been assigned a group either ally or invader, you are trying to figure out who is in which group and join with the group you are assigned, you are not allowed Jutsu that can alter this exam, you are only to use your wits." Meistu finished explaining and opened her scroll quickly looking inside as the ink faded and became nothing she pocketed it and saw Rizu start to stand back up she yanked him back down. "Since i know you can not read why don't we just partner together, either we both gain or lose points but atleast we don't get a zero." She said with a slight smirk.

"So what you're saying is that, perhaps, since the main difficulty in this portion of the exam is based on intangible concepts such as truth and lies, it might be in our best interests to stick with core facts, such as finding those with ninja skills that complement your own. We should be thinking more about what we'll do with these groupings after the initial choice. If we pair ourselves up into cells based to cover our weaknesses and amplify our strengths in combat, it might not even matter if your team consists of all of one Team, Allies or Invaders. Points lost in this round can be made up in the coming exams."
Kyu stopped, and pondered the thought a moment more, staring at his feet. The blue genin continued, "To sum up the idea, the best way to play this game is to not play at all. Stick with what you know works in a team-based mission. Even if you're with a traitor, you're safest with ninja whose skills you can definitely depend on for the time being." Kyu looked up from his feet to glance at the surrounding ninja, then back to the female ninja who proposed the option, "Sound about right?"

Takera just stood listening to Kyu and Hatsuma as they spoke about the exam so openly. The idea was good, but there were a lot of holes in it and Takera wasn't sure if the logic was quite up to par, but he understood that the options were at an all-time low in this situation and for better or for worse, the two shinobi and one kunoichi around him were above par for their reasoning and intelligence as well as having diverse and unique traits as well. He let a light sigh out and turned back to face Kyu and Hatsuma. "You both raise good points and I can see neither of you are unaccustomed to intelligible conversation, but let me start with you, if you don't mind, Hatsuma." Takera spoke during the slight break in their exchange of words. "It is true that in the sense, that this is all merely a game, but the requirements for the game may change once teams are decided and being so diverse ourselves, some among us might actually jump at the chance to hinder us in some fashion." Takera paused a second gather his thoughts on Kyu's words. "As for you. I like the thought process and it's a good idea.. if we're really a team. As I mentioned to Hatsuma, we're all very diverse and have no real ties to anyone, thus making it much easier to jump on a preferable situation such as this. Splitting ourselves into two man cells should be an effort best saved as a last resort. Don't get me wrong. I like that you're thinking this through like a team member, but you should be more than capable of realizing what could result if you paired yourself with someone who covered your weakness and amplified your efficiency or effectiveness. If they became enticed by a shift in the set of rules come part two of these exams, they'd be sitting in a spot where now the rest of the team members are scattered in their cells, and the compromised teams are now isolated from the rest of the group and unbeknownst to them they're in danger of their weakness being exploited by the partner put with them to cover that very weakness. Unless it desperately called for it, it wouldn't be wise to make any plans that involve too much trust in co-existance until we've seen what the next part of this exam is going to be like." Takera took a deep breath and let it out crossing his arms and looking away from Kyu to Hatsuma and then back to Notwen. "I don't honestly know much about you, but you've been awfully quiet. Have you no input of your own?" Takera asked inquisitively while waiting to see Hatsuma's and Kyu's opinions of what he had to say about the situation.

Notwen bowed in return to the greeting and listened to Kyuzaku, Hatsuma and the masked kid state their points and mulled them over in his head. A little while after rubbing his chin pensively an idea came to his mind. It was a really wild one at that but certain events that had transpired so far made it a plausible idea. "Alright. The mask-wearing kid is right about the supplementary set-up, but i have an idea. Before you guys pounce on me for making it look like it's a ploy, hear me out. A short while ago the kid over there shouted out his position. I don't know if he was telling the truth or not, but his actions got me thinking. If there is no rule stating that we can not tell each other our roles, what's stopping us from using that information to our advantage?" He stopped to catch his breath and to allow his words to sink in. "This plan requires us to be completely honest with each other for the most desirable outcome for all of us. My idea is to use this exam's rules and get into teams while knowing which side, invader or ally, we are grouping with. That way we put ourselves in a situation that if worst comes to worst we don't lose as much points as the others." Notwen looked at each of the genin assembled by the bench. "I will start by trusting you all with the fact that i am indeed an Invader. If we work together and are completely honest with each other, we can come out on top. We can even implement both Kyu's and Hatsuma's ideas into it. But first there's one thing i need to know." Notwen turned to face the white-haired boy. "What's your name? I don't remember you ever introducing yourself. If i am going to trust, don't you think i should at least know you by what you call yourself?"

Takera had listened as Notwen just blatantly tossed a plan across the board that was certainly questionable in it's entirety. He took a minute to think and look around at the other two to see if he could read their expressions and maybe get a few ideas at what they're thinking, but it was to no avail. He had seriously begun to question Notwen's proposal and how much it could affect them. He heard Notwen lay claim to being an intruder, but he didn't know Notwen or many of the people in the room for that matter. The kid he spoke of in his statement seemed really fishy. It's true that it's not the first time someone has come forth, but just because it's become somewhat common, doesn't mean Takera could trust any of them so easily, especially with information. The intruder's goal is to hinder any ally and the ally's goal is to keep away from the intruder and while they were both defined as being a specific way, no one is forced by any stretch of the imagination to act upon their roll and thus anyone could play dirty regardless. Suddenly Takera's thoughts were cut off when he heard Notwen suddenly ask him for his name as he hadn't given his formal introduction, but everyone else had. He locked eyes on Notwen immediately without moving his head. What's his game? First he's preaching truth and fair terms alongside revealing information that isn't credible from where he stands and then he turns around and says he won't trust me because he doesn't know my name? Something's fishy and I'm not referring to Kyu. Takera thought to himself considering his options. Within a few moments he mustered up an answer to the question. "You can call me Kairo Kaguya of Kumogakure." Takera responded to Notwen as he recalled the events that had happened to him earlier on. He closed his eyes and turned away from Notwen and toward the center of the group between Hatsuma and Kyuzaku. He raised his arm up and out between the two and a very thin and flat bone suddenly hastily began forming out of his wrist in the form of a sharp flat, but wide blade that allowed him an undeniable sense of proof to his alias. For now there was no official list available to the participants of who was in the exam, so until a time came where he'd be forced to reveal himself, he kept it to himself. He couldn't predict how Kyu would react to the factor that Takera was standing right next to him if he hadn't already known and Hibiki wasn't too far from them either. It may be the exams, but if he learned anything from his time in this world, it was that people are unpredictable when faced with overwhelming situations and even with such a restriction as this exam, it might not stop either or both of them from flat out beating the crap out of him.

Kira was suddenly swarmed by a crowd of genin. It wasn't unexpected due to him releasing important information, whether it was a truth or a lie. Hibiki was pushed away from Kira by several other, (and taller) Genin who were obviously going to smother the other Mist Genin with questions.
After falling onto his behind, the Inuzuka flipped the small group the bird before getting up and wondering away from the stampede. This mission is ridiculous, how are we supposed to know good from bad without the use of jutsu? Instinct? A REAL shinobi would rarely rely on their gut when it came to actual missions, so what are these proctors trying to do? He was furious, his temper was now getting out of hand, despite his mischievous smile.
The Vulpine duo probably walked around the hut several times, and the only thing that could be seen is people talking about truth and lies, or how to go about this exam. It made Hibiki's anger subside a bit, but it was still simmering as he sat down against a wall of the hut. He sat cross legged on the ground and patted his lap twice, signaling Kuro to sit on his lap like a domesticated canine. The Fox curled up and laid down as instructed as Hibiki began to pat him, pondering his situation some more. "Kuro, I have a new plan. We bide our time." He whispered to his fox.

Sorain listened and nodded as he received the information about the exam. A crooked smirk shot itself across his face. He had no idea if he was an ally or an invader but that honestly did not matter to him, what mattered more was joining any team and to gain as many members that he deemed trust worthy. If the point of the test was to convince others that you were an ally, then what would it matter if you didnt know what role you were? Exactly how would it change the course of action? Sorain leaned towards Meistu,"I advise that you stick with me. I care not if you are an ally or an invader. But if you are, I suggest you tell me right now. It will save you some trouble in the long run....Were from the same village, and as such I would see you successful as a Chunin, but if I am crossed there will be hell to pay." Sorain leaned back and looked around for a moment, his eyes locking in on Takera, the boy whom he had spent much time traveling with. He was not really one of a strong enough will to lie, but at the same time Sorain was no sure if he could be the most trusted. Turning his eye into a glare as he looked through out the room Sorain came up with his next course of action.
Moving himself to the center of the room, Sorain folded his arms and closed his eyes allowing himself to sink among the chatter in the room. Biting his lip for a quick moment Sorain leaned his head back up and began to speak rather loudly. His six foot height allowed his voice to carry throughout the already small hut with ease, "I give no ******** about who is or who is not an invader. Odds are the teams that we select now, are going to effect the turn of events in the later test. Which means that I dont need a ******** interview process, I need Shinobi who are strong and resourceful. My squad aint about this political bullshit, were here to completely destroy these exams, not through cat and mouse faggotry, but through brute force!" Sorain took a quick pause to look around the area before leaning back and walking backwards to the wall of the hut, "Any body who wants to get down with me speak up, Ill let damn near any body in. But be damn clear, if I find out after this test that anyone who speaks to me is an invader.." Sorain squinted his eyes to match his serious tone, "You wont make it to the third exam.." Sorain folded his arms over his chest before reaching up to his head band and pulling it down in front of his eyes. The Kumogakure symbol exposed for all to see.

Kira was standing awaiting for the people to come to him. His plan was simple.. To get who he wanted on his team he would have to anylize the situation. By announcing his position, people would either trust him, or fear him because it may be a lie. Those who are willing to trust him may be invaders who want to join him in hopes to put down his score and have nothing to lose. Those who stay back are more than likely to be allies who are too fearfull to just straight on approach someone who may be plotting a devious plan to undermind them straight out. One of the main variables would be those he already knows and trusts. Trust can be used to their advantage. And a very important variable was just walking his way.
"Hey! I haven't seen you guys in forever." Before they could really talk much Kira had been surrounded. Hibiki was pushed aside and while Kira was too small to see over the taller Shinobi he could tell that he was walking away. "We can talk later guys.. really we have enough time, but I have something very important to talk about with that shinobi." Kira slipped passed the group and meet back up with Hibiki.
"I didn't exactly expect that much lime light." The fact that Hibiki walked away and seemed to be passive showed that he was weary about just jumping into any group. The odds of him being an ally were starting to add up.

Hatari looked to those around him and groaned in the manner of annoyance. "Kyuzaku...if that's how you say it correctly.... you seem too much into Kunoichi than your own life, stop dibble dabbing in love affairs and get on with the exams, other wise you'll get yourself killed..." He sounded a bit annoyed by the boy named Kyu it was more like he was in a beauty pageant than an Exam that could no doubt take his life in an instant.
Hatari looked behind the group to find a Mut and his dog squealing out Obnoxious things towards Kyu the "Kunoichi hunter" He couldn't help but look back with a "WTF" look upon his face. "Eh...We could do without the MUTT Gallery speech" His left hand rose only to scratch the back of his head. He looked back to the others and grinned slightly as they began talking once more about teaming up and figuring out who's role was what; however, in all honesty it was too much to bare with.
Hatari Grinned just before looking towards the several ninja around him talking as if they were trying to form some afterschool club or something. "To be honest, this all sounds like bullshit, Just think about it and think about it hard. We've got a little over three teams possibly two if everyone decided on either or side. The way I see it, it's a fifty fifty chance we'll all be wrong and we'll mess our scores up to a little extent. Here's the Logic behind my saying this is bullshit, If I were really a invader saying I was a ally with no disturbance within my voice or no little one sign to tell you other wise then it'd be likely I'd either betray you and try to kill you, or I'd help you fail the missions and thus succeed at my role as an invader...If I was an ally the same thing would be applied. you can't make an effort in something in which you blindly go into. Normal stuff like pulse counts or lie detection skills won't work on us, we're all shinobi and we've been trained in one way or another to deceive and mis-concept what others think of us. So it would simply be best to pick who you want to be with and be done with it."
Hatari looked over towards the blind shinobi as he spoke with intentions of his own, for some reason his voice seemed to be straight up forward with little body movement or a hint of hesitation. "Ah finally someone worth teaming up with... I wonder how this will play out!" Hatari walked towards the blind shinobi and spoke in whispers towards him to signify his own introduction. "I am Hatari Nara of Kumogakure, I don't know about you; however, I myself am an Ally. With that said It wouldn't do me any good to lie about my position, for indeed you probably could and would be able to kill me before these exams are over; however, I might just need to eliminate some competition soon enough if you get my drift."

(fix'd)
Kyu ignored the bone waving in his face and the guy scolding him about his flirtations. As soon as he began the rant, Kyu completely toned out his rambles about whether or not he was an ally or an invader. The shark stood up from his crouch, and sighed. His mind was abuzz again.
Notwen had spilled his side; he was an Invader. No doubt lay in Kyu's mind about that anymore. Kairo was quick to show off his skills, and as such, he'd probably broken one of the main rules of the exam, no techniques or special powers. If I had to guess, Kyu thought, he's either reckless, forgetful of rules, or just plain stupid. None of those are qualities I'd like to see on a team of ninja. And his mask... It bothers me. What is he hiding beneath there?
Kyu's thoughts were postponed when another male ninja spoke to the whole room. Like Hatsuma and Kyu, he said straight out that he wanted to make a team based on competent ninja, and he couldn't care less about interviews and such. However, he also hinted that any invader that joins his team will meet a tragic end before the finals. The boy pulled his headband over his eyes. The symbol etched upon it glinted in the light.
Kyu grinned, and crossed his own arms, "You know, I like his style. Badass and straight to the point. However," Kyu lowered his voice so only those directly next to him would hear, "He sounds like a bit of a nutcase too. If you get in his way, the proctors might just find you hung from a tree."
Kyu cracked his knuckles, and changed the tone of conversation a bit, "If we're looking for good team setups, why don't we share a hint of what we can do as a shinobi?" The mist genin faced the group, and said nonchalantly, "My skills lie mostly in Taijutsu. I'm pretty fast, and rather strong muscularly. I really don't have any offensive ninjutsu. Any ninjutsu I have are techniques that boost the effectiveness of my Taijutsu. Also, my tracking skills aren't bad. When the situation calls for it, I can keep up with an average sensor. Most of my tracking utilize my olfactory senses, like smell, but my eyes are pretty sharp too."

Drake entered the hut-like office building, expecting to see cloud shinobi going back and forth, preparing the first exam. Instead, everyone was in a large room, and in the room was a long row of scrolls. Everyone was walking about, going along the row, looking at them. When Drake reached the first row, he noticed each scroll had a name on it. He knew what to do then, and started to walk along like everyone else, searching for his scroll. He saw name after name, and then, he finally found his. It wasn't a very large scroll, just big enough for whatever was written in it. His name was on it, in large red letters. Drake picked it up, and tried to open it, bit it refused to reveal the information by opening. 'Must be sealed' Drake said to himself. Drake then felt Harbinger come into the front of his mind. 'Look back at the table, fool...' he told Drake, then went silent. Drake had no idea why Harbinger told him that, but thought it wouldn't hurt to try. Drake looked back down at the table, and noticed a sheet of paper, which said: Congratulations on being chosen for the opportunity to reach the rank of Chuunin. During these exams you will be tested on the key qualities that your superiors have decided are necessarily to rise in the ranks. Though these exams are competitive there is no grantee that winning will allow you to graduate. Exactly after you read this message your exam shall begin. This scroll has a seal that can only be broken by speaking your name out loud. Upon breaking the seal the scroll will open and give you information about which role you will play in this test. After you have read the information it shall erase itself beyond recognition. Drake looked back at his scroll, then at the message. He then picked it up and held it close to his face, and spoke his name loud enough for only him to hear. After he did this, the scroll "unlocked", revealing what it had inside. It told him that he was a specific person, and that he was to join, or gather, a group of three including himself. 'Well, that seems simple enough' drake said to himself. 'Wait, didn't that sheet say the scroll, after read, will erase itself?. Drake looked back at the scroll, and he saw that all the words were gone. After he saw that, drake knew that he was going to have to start now, but how to do this? His first thought was to find Takera, so at least they would have two out of three people, or if takera found someone else besides Drake, three of three. This wold be his first stop. If this didn't work, then he was going to have to find someone else to join, a thought which he dreaded, as he could tell that many of the people were much stronger than he was. 'Well, best start to find Takera now'. So, Drake went to look for Takera. As he moved through the crowd, he saw person after person in private conversation, most likely talking about allying with each other. Drake also heard comotion going on between others, probably arguments or threats being made to each other. After a little while, Drake was starting to think he might not find Takera.
