Eight quickly took heed of Two's words and quietly motioned himself behind One. Not so obvious as to cower behind him, but just in case he needed to dodge an incoming assault. With the fog, he couldn't be too careful since there could easily be more than one lurking around in there.
"Wow, hell of a scouting mission. Hahaha. Now is someone going to knock him out or should we just assume he is going to be pumped for information? My offer to tie someone to a tree still stands. The sticks you guys are holding should be enough to get the basic information out of him or at least how many of them there are. You can never be too cautious!"
Eight was certainly a team player. Nothing like suggesting torture to rally the group together. It was quickly becoming a group hug moment.

[Zeta Eight, entering the Area]
Zeta Eight had followed Zeta Four out of the tent at their base, and had continued to do so as they walked down the beach, staying just behind and to his right. He seemed serious about his scouting job, despite the whistling that gave away their position to anyone in the immediate area even despite the fog that surrounded them, and she respected it by following his lead. It could have easily been construed that she was making sure he didn't get himself into trouble, although it would have been mere speculation. Each time his nervous whistle rose to a high note, anyone close enough might have noticed her tense a little, the hand on her own mace tightening a bit. Every so often her head turned in a radar-like fashion to look around, but there seemed to be nothing. It was only after Zeta Four had bent down to make a little seashell arrow that she noticed a few figures in the fog, the sound of an 'OMIGAWD THERE'S AN ORANGE DUDE' piercing the air.
It seemed the 'enemy' was closer than they had thought. And that they knew they were there. Not only that, it seemed they knew where their tent was. Well, at least they had found this out sooner rather than later.
"You all are very loud."
It wasn't an accusing comment. There was no taunt in her voice, nor any skepticism as to how effective they would be as an enemy, her voice calm and rather clinical as she addressed the rather large group.
"Do not tie him to a tree, or I will be forced to hit you," she replied in response to Alpha Eight's comment, her voice staying neutral but her hands tightening on the mace.

As A7 felt the stirrings of the girl under his arm, he turned to look at her, and then followed her stare to the orange-colored guy fiddling with seashells down the shoreline, closer to the other tent. Instinctively, A7 curved his arm and pulled A2 behind him, using his entire body to hide and protect her. She disappeared behind the bigger ******** scouting parties. They're coming right for us. At least they're not trying to be sneaky about it." He readied his mace, fully prepared to smash the first orange skull that came anywhere near him.
The one thing that was bugging him most about this group, was that they seemed to be of two different minds. Teamwork didn't exactly work that way - everyone seemed to have their own opinion about how things should work. Did no one understand that opinions lead to arguments, and arguments lead to dissention? They were going to be picked apart if they didn't all fall in line behind A1 and shut the hell up.
Personally, he just stood there with his mace ready, waiting for the command. But inside, he had just a little less hope for his team.

There was still no sign of his backup as he nervously glanced over his shoulder, jumping upright in panic at the sudden call from deep out in the fog. Someone was there! Oh hell, oh hell oh hell, just stay calm. His hand clamped on his club, swallowing thickly as he turned around to face the direction of the shout, "ER. HELLO? ARE YOU GOING TO TRY TO KILL ME? I'D RATHER YOU DIDN'T."
It was worth a shot, right? He wasn't far from the tent, he could run back if need be...
At the sudden snide comment permeating the fog from a familiar voice off to his side, he leaned forward before brightening, "Ah! There you are, Miss 8! I was worried for a moment. I think we've been spotted."

Wha - wha - A-One leaned slightly away from A-Eight. Now that was just creepy. "Okay then," he said. "Nine, you're with us - "
And then A-Two, of all people, spotted an orange. Much like the fog, the incompetence was so thick you could cut it with a knife. That was definitely a headache coming on. There went the plan, such as it was. "Stick together," A-One said quietly. "We may not have to attack yet."
... and there went all hope of stealth as A-Nine called out to the guy. "Eight," A-One muttered. "Know any quiet ways of knocking someone out?"

[Z 7, Entering to start kicking asses and taking names]
"Dammit, that guy is going to give me an aneurysm!" he muttered out darkly as he looked about for the flailing idiot that was Z 4 in the thick thick fog. Yes brilliant idea special one he told himself while rolling his eyes. He could find anything out here. Hell, probably even creepy disfigured monsters and tentacled beasts are roaming about.
He gave a scoff and a chuckle at that.
He moved about as silently as a heavy footed male could, which wasn't much, as the sand stirred lightly below his boots. The tent was slowly dissipating in the white shroud until it could be seen no more. No point in dwelling on what cant be changed, onwards after the dopey one!
It would have been a nice beach without all the eerie fog and creepy atmosphere. maybe after all this was over he could go for a nice long skinny dip in there, but not right now, don't need to be killed in the buff. but it was time for movement, not for post battle plans, as he crept along, removing the safety from the gun, at least... he hoped it was the safety.
Dammit four, get into view so I can kick you.

"Oh you've completely misunderstood us girl in orange. We are just as happy to tie both of you up!"
More team building than he first anticipated. How lovely for all of them. Leaning in behind Alpha One, he tried to whisper so that the rather bold orange girl wouldn't hear them.
"Yes, beat their brains in with your weapon. Works every time. Or you could just remove the tongue. They can't talk then. Though if you just want to hit them some and then pump them for information, we could consider that a valid Plan B. Though I will need you to let me know which you prefer since they require different steps to reach the end result."
Taking a few seconds to think over another plan, a proverbial light bulb went off and he once more whispered into A1's ear.
"Here's another idea, a Plan C, if you will. Use Seven, Two, and Nine as the first wave to beat their brains in and then we'll tie them up! Maximize everyone's potential!"

[α X ENTERING the area]
Lost in the fog... the minute she stepped out of her tent. With a sort of squeaky noise α X scurried around, trying to listen for the voices of her teammates.
Well, not that she'd recognise said voices, she supposed. Mostly she was looking out for more people dressed in red. Not that there were any around these parts. For all she knew, they might've gone to infinity and beyond.
Wait.. Infinity and beyond? What kind of lousy.. description was that? For some reason, though, the term stuck in her brain and refused to budge. Shaking her head, α X continued plodding on, searching for her teammates.
All she found, though, was... a rock. Was it really a rock? α X didn't have much time to think about it as she tripped and fell....
and landed in the middle of some gathering.. thingy.
PEOPLE IN RED, GET~! ..and also some embarrassment, but they could deal with it.
As far as α X was concerned, it was pretty a stylish entrance.

Oh what the HELL, the other team was already here? This wasn't how it was supposed to work! They were supposed to WIN. From the start. That would be awesome, right?
But it seemed that wasn't to be. Dammit.
Waving his mace about threateningly, Fiver advanced upon Z 7. "Get back to your own tent before I bash your head in!" he said, trying to sound scary. How the hell did they get over here without ANYONE SEEING THEM.
Fail, guys, fail.

A7 was totally paying attention to the incoming opponent team. He totally was. He just got.. a little distracted by the adorable little thing that had just tripped on a rock and landed in the midst of all of them. Without thinking about it, his raucous and infectious laugh burst fourth from him, piercing the air loudly.
"BAHAHA-"
He brought his hands to his mouth to try and shut himself up, but they only slammed down on his helmet and didn't stop the laughter. So he just eventually quieted himself down, and tried to pay attention to the enemy while holding his hand out.
"Y'all right there?" He snickered. "Grab hold, you don't want to be caught off guard at a time like this."

That
was
enough.
"Everybody shut the hell up," A-One shouted. "No killing yet, do you morons ******** get me? There's not enough room for all of us here, but shut the ******** up, let's go kill a few other squads before we ******** each other up."
He paused to glare around at the motley collection of Alphas and Zetas on the beach. "If we're the only two squads in this place, which I highly doubt, then we're gonna just have to fight, but for the love of God, let's go find the other ones first. We fight here, it's going to be a giant ******** mess and whoever's left is going to be ******** up bad enough it won't make any difference. So shut the hell up because we're not fighting now. You all got me?"

Someone.. fell? Twelve peeked out from .. well, she was hiding somewhere. Her eyes squinted under the goggles to try and identify the fallen soldier. If it was the other team, that was the goal.. right?
Unfortunately, it wasnt the other team.
AHHH. AHHHHHHH. (Silent screams.) IT WAS TEEEEEEN. The other team was already here too-- Twelve looked back and forth, her hands clenched together in an obvious panic.
Teeeeeeeeen was in daaaanger.
"Seven, do you always have to laugh?"
Seven always seemed to have the wrong sense of humor. Twelve was next to Seven in a flash, one hand placed on Ten's back to help her up. Nevermind that the laughter gave away their position .. Ten was important!
.... Wait, they weren't fighting?
.. A tsunami of relief washed over Twelve. They weren't fighting. They weren't fighting. YAYYYY~

Seriously, this is what I had to come across? I'd almost prefer Z4 over this pathetic soul. He stood his ground and dug his shoes into the sand, feeling the sand settle in and raised his gun cross hairs into view "Ya move one step closer ya walking tampon and I'll BLOW YER FREAKING HEAD OFF! He bellowed out to the enemy (A 5) in his way, c'mon, tempt me, give me a reason t' pull the trigger.
"And, if ya get close enough, I'll rip your arm off and beat y'uh t'death wit it!, now put your hands up where I can see them! He was not letting this pansy try and intimidate him, his bicep was larger, and that was all he needed to see.

No one had responded one way or another, but he did hear a twittering out in the fog. He glanced to his approaching comrades with a growing comfort by their presence, beaming at Z8 still through his goggles before motioning forward.
"If they keep arguing, we might be able to surround them, perhaps?" He whispered, hoping his other Zetas could hear- the fog was too thick to notice A5 advancing on them.

A-One stalked over to Z-Seven and shoved the barrel of his gun down. He glared at Z-Seven, then at A-Five. "KNOCK IT THE ******** OFF OR I WILL MAKE YOU EAT YOUR FIRST AID KITS. PIECE. BY. PIECE. WE ARE NOT. FIGHTING. NOW."
