"Might as well. Nothing we can lose besides time..and right now we have all of the time in the world." Twelve said with a wave of one hand, following along on Two's heels. It seemed one of the other group's members had pittered off to do his own thing, but in the meanwhile, more snooping could be had at the moment without worrying about must besides getting one's baring down.

“Aliveachu,” Gamma Three said, and waggled her brows. It was a shame that no one could see it, for she was fairly certain she was quite the fantastic brow waggler. Were there an Olympics of brow waggling, she would have been it's Phelps.
It's who?
Whatever.
“There should be some mirrors and a wheel that show us our lives, Jack. I think this is where we argue about our marriage and everyone realizes that the writers have no idea what they're doing.”
Gamma Kate Three had no idea how old she was, even, but somehow felt the deep pang of all the hours lost waiting to figure out why Walt was so ******** important.
"Oh, wait. That was a lighthouse."

One of the blue n's had left, but that was fine. Looking up at the windmill, yII peered around. It sure didn't look like the fog cleared up at all up there. Not only that, but how were they supposed to get up there in the first place? He began looking around for the entrance.
"Hopefully the others won't get too worried about us," he said idly while seeking the door, "Do you see the way to get in?"

Eta Four was already inside the lighthouse, but the fog was too thick for the others to see her. "I'm inside already," she said to the Gammas. "I found a door." Standing in the center of the tall structure, E4 didn't see anything terribly remarkable. There was no big sign that said: THIS WAY TO SAFETY. Or some kind of hard artillery that she could strap to herself and run around the island with for hours, mowing down the competition.
All of this tension had already begun to wear on her, and for a moment, she took more solace in the idea of discussing Lost than worrying about other stuff. "But there is nothing for me to smash," she said, shaking her head. "So how can I be Jack? And if I'm not Jack and there is no mirror to smash, then how can we be in Lost?" The logic of Gamma Three was starting to make sense to E4. This was terrifying.
She stopped suddenly and turned to face the other girl. "Wait, maybe it's Hunger Games. Maybe I'm Katniss, and you're Rue." She reached out and touched G3 on the shoulder. "I will sing when you die and put flowers in your hair. I promise."

“******** Rue. <******** Rue,” Kate grumbled, “There are no flowers. Do you see flowers? I see a shitty windmill and a whole bunch of- Oh s**t. Oh s**t. Jack.” Kate's eyes widened, and she grabbed Jack by the shoulders and proceeded to shake her furiously.
“We're in in The Mist. We're in The Mist. I think I have to shoot you now. DOES ANYONE HAVE A GUN.”

Kate reached out to shake her, and Jack couldn't step away. There was something about this island, about everything, that made the craziness of the woman in front of her seem truer than anything else. "I want a gun," she said, frowning. "And you're not supposed to shoot me if it's The Mist. He shoots them all, but they really were about to get saved by the army." Duh. Everyone knew that.
A buzzing at her waist distracted E4, and she grabbed at the cellphone, clicking on the screen. E4 read the words once, and then again. "We have to find a pendant," she said to Kate, quietly so that the others couldn't hear. "It's like the hidden immunity idol."
Wait -- what?

The phone at her hip buzzed, and Kate flipped it open. Her eyes scanned the words, and though the others could not read it, her brows slowly climbed up her forehead. So there was a way off that damn place after all, and one that did not include trying to move with eleven other people through what seemed to be becoming one giant death trap.
Her nod was almost imperceptible, so slight that only Jack would be able to see it.
“I think it's about time we get off this island, Jack.”
The meaning in her words was clear.

Jack gave a flash of recognition in her eyes with as much serious business as she was capable of fitting into a single subtle expression. "I can't fly the broken plane alone," she said. Was this a code? It seemed like a code.
The others were still outside the windmill. Jack scanned the walls, the ceiling. It looked like the way to the top was treacherous. But would there be a pendant up there? More importantly, how could she keep it secret from the others if she found it?
"We can threaten to eat the berries," she said. "They'll have no choice but to let us live."

“Stand together or die alone,” Kate replied, and nodded, “We'll defeat Voldemort together.”
This meant something, and if Jack didn't know what it meant... well then she <******** sucked.
“Well, we have a few choices here. We can rally the others,” Ahaha- right, “Or Jack and I can go scout the perimenter. We need to make sure there aren't Others approaching. Jack,” Kate held out an arm, “Shall we?”

"You can be my Harry," she said, reaching out to touch Gamma Three's face. It didn't feel weird at all. It felt right. Linking arms with Kate, Jack allowed her to lead them off into the darkness -- as long as they were together.

"Tch. Battle Royale was better..." G12 said, making a face, but stepping into the lighthouse none the less. It was a..charmingly lonesome place. She sort of half-expected the a sudden raging fireball to come flying down the stairs at them... .....
What the hell sort of stuff had she been reading before she had been shoved onto this island of woe? She looked back towards the houses suspiciously. Now she was starting to get herself all riled up with creep factor. None the less, she stood close to G2, arms folded across her chest.
At least for the meanwhile there wouldn't be wanton destruction..
However, it seemed something else was going on as Jack and Kate lead the way off to something else going on....
Something else that 12 wanted to investigate as well...
This post that didn't go through will not segway into the Bossfight with 12! GO GIRL, GO!

The fog seemed to be rolling in thicker than ever, and Eta Nine gave a quick huff behind her gas mask as Four fiddled with the door of the windmill. She didn't like this one Though they had called a temporary truce - with notable emphasis on temporary given in her mind - she remained uncomfortable around the Gammas. A small part of her wanted to follow Eleven back to the base camp and the other Etas. Six had been kind enough, and she doubted their inclination to kill her at the very start of things, unlike the Gammas. But that would require finding her back to the tent alone, and in this fog? Yeah, she'd be as good as dead! But Eta Four, though certainly brave and nice enough, was getting almost a little too friendly with that Gamma. Kate, was it? If Four decided to join them, then Nine would be s**t out of luck - which meant dead. Eta Nine apparently had a cautioned and pessimistic mind, because she was quickly starting to think that she couldn't trust anybody.
She opted against following them into the windmill, and stayed outside by the door for the purpose of 'guarding the entrance,' though in reality she wasn't sure how she felt about being in close quarters with them. Staying outside in the thick fog was much safer, in theory. No sooner had they disappeared inside, that her phone began to buzzing, heralding another message. Grabbing it from her waist, Nine poked a finger at the button and quickly scanned through the message. Pendants? Survival? Hells yes! But how were you supposed to find th-
A sharp sound rang through the air, causing Eta Nine to jump in terror and drop the phone, only to leave it swaying from her belt. What in the ******** was that? It happened again, reverberating in her chest and rattling her very bones. Ohgod, what was going on? Before she could even look into the windmill and scream for the others, Eta Four and Gamma III came streaking out and towards the sound, their arms linked. Eta Nine stared at their running, abandoning forms. Those bitches.
She then realized that whatever was making that sound was probably not friendly, and in fact most definitely deadly. So Eta Nine followed those bitches, because at least bitches had weapons.

It was hard to show expressions through a solid mask, but G7 was rather baffled that the female - Eta Four, was it? - ignored his outstretched hand. He didn't get too long to dwell on it as Eta Nine took it instead, and he found the entire situation so amusing he chuckled.
"Nice to meet you, Eta Nine." He said once his chuckles mostly died down, giving her hand a firm shake before letting go. It had been pretty obvious that Eta XI was up to something, but between his disappearing into the fog and the comment Four gave about that one dying, he decided to not put too much thought into it; Four was correct, and hopefully someone else would do them all a favour.
Waving Eta Nine to follow, he moved after the rest of them towards the windmill, also attempting to find the door in through the fog.
Well, until the buzz from his cell phone caught his attention. Less than five pendants, eh? Hmm... G7 did a small shuffle of his priorities, though that list hadn't been very long to begin with;
1 - Survive at all costs 2 - Get one of those pendants
Though it didn't necessarily have to be in that order, those were his new goals. Before he could think too more on the issue, 'Jack', 'Kate' and the rest of the crew started running towards something...oh hey, the ground was shaking! He should probably go check that out.

yII had barely taken a single step into the windmill when his phone went off again. Quickly checking it, he learned of the whole pendant business. Tricky. If he were to get his hands on one of those, he'd have to make sure at all costs the others didn't know. He might as well have a giant mark on his head to shoot at with a pendant in hand. Still, it might be worth trying to acquire one.
Then the noises started and a few of the others left the windmill towards the sound. Furrowing his brow, he turned around and saw something big and red in the distance. He was too far to really be able to see what it was with all the fog, but it couldn't have been a good thing.
Something told him he shouldn't try to avoid it though. Maybe.. just maybe it was something that wasn't horrendous anyway.
