Twelve blankly stared at Four through his green goggles. Although her argument seemed logical, he quizzically switched between his weapon to the other weapons and items that everyone else had. “It doesn’t look like we have much variety,” he commented, his tone a mix of sarcasm and disappointment. His eyes widened as D7 with D6 presumably following after him. Rather than stay any longer to chat with the rest of the group, he hastily scooped up his things with one arm and scurried after them. “W-Wait up, you guys!”

Delta eight looked over those who had left, then turned his eyes on those who remained still. "Well, I think groups of three or so is a good idea. So lets start grouping up also and heading out. I'd like to find out more about this place if possible."

"So who wants to pair up with who?" He asked, looking from the others to the outside world. He really wanted to get out of the tent and figure this out, it seemed some sort of survival game. He was intent to win, but who didn't want to win when loosing meant death?

Delta Nine wasn't feeling particularly daring or headstrong unlike the first group that had left. She much preferred to follow a well-thought out plan of action, and with a glance towards Delta Eight, she shrugged. Well-thought out plans were non-existant here, it seemed. "Live every moment as if it's your last never appealed to me much," she sniffed, rubbing the heel of her palm against her forehead again. It soothed her to a certain extent. Delta Nine was clearly not happy. "I prefer following a plan..." The last came out as a reedy whine.

"However these circumstances call for action ... I guess." Holding her sack of belongings to her chest, Delta Nine took a deep breath. At least she wasn't stuck with a pair of nun-chucks, for crying out loud.

"I think the sooner we leave, the better," she said to nobody in particular though her eyes were on Delta Eight.

She may have been pouting a bit. Not that anyone could tell with her mask, they made expressing yourself so difficult. If it wasn't for the fact they'd been assured taking it off was an automatic fail she would have yanked it off right then.

Still, they go on, discuss her idea and then leave without her in the first group. Pooh! Obviously they didn't want to listen to any more of her brilliant advice, maybe they where trying to fail. Gasp. How could she be associated with such people.

Still. Nothing she could do much now.

Turing to Eightykins she answered his question, "Eleven will go with whoever has the will not to fail. Eleven does not wish to be with failures. Eleven will only scout with the strong."

Why yes she was talking about herself in third person.

"Hmm... well it seems that this D-3 guy wants to go off in a group... so the 4 of us could go off, unless more want to join us. It's more of a gamble right now though... even though only so many of us can survive, who knows what kind of enemies we'll encounter first that will need a larger group." Delta 5 chimed in at over-hearing 11 and 8 talking about pairing off... as well and noticing that 4 or 5 of the others had already left. A slight bit worried about them for a moment before turning her attention back to the rest of the group, didn't do anyone any good to stress out right now.

"I think just keeping calm and having a game plan is best right now... yeah... it's a bad situation, but if we lose our heads, well... we'll end up losing our heads for real."

Hum. Well some people were people of action, and he was one to debate and figure out the best course of action. Better that the actioners went with actioners and leave him with the more . . . easy to talk to people.

Not that D-3 didn't wish them luck, though. He honestly hoped most of them could make it through this terrible mess of mist and memory . . .

Only 13 could survive.

"Er . . . Right then!" He clapped his hands after Delta Eleven and Delta Five spoke and nodded. "Well said, m'amsas, that's what I'm talking about! So if they're gonna scout that way, I'll go ahead and mosey on the opposite way so we can cover more ground. Eight, Nine, Eleven, Five, I'd reeeeally appreciate it if you came along. It'll be a nice team of four with different weapons and Eight's good ol' bandages." And he was very appreciative and sincere of that fact as he looked at each of them in turn.

"So, ah . . . Here I go then." D-3 shouldered his backpack and turned to leave, hiding a gulping sound as he left the tent.

Hoo boy. Hopefully this would work.

Ooo! Someone was going and inviting her? How could Eleven refuse! With a delighted hum she strated skipping after Threesy.

"Eleven will come with you! You obviously have the will if your leading a new way!"

Happily Eleven finally left the tent.

((Eleven has left the area!))

5 couldn't help but smile a bit even though under the mask no one else could see it. "Excellent. Got a game plan, a group, so off we go then." Besides, who could turn down the possibility of a healer as well as a wide variety of weapons in a party? Seems like they would be ready for anything, and 5 was starting to feel a bit like a sitting duck the longer she waited around in here.

One last glance around the tent to make sure that she had everything and a quick glance through the backpack was done before she headed out the tent and towards the next spot.

Delta Ten had to say, his squad mates sure liked to jump into groups faster than rabbits going at it, and he found it a little irritating, not that he voiced this, nor could anyone see it due to his mask. Well, those three who were so eager to jump together could go if they wanted. He was tempted to join them just to ruin their number projection, but refrained. It might have been amusing, but it wouldn't have been productive. No, he wanted to leave right now and he didn't want to do it alone, if only because it limited his resources.

"That's right," He said with some amusement, but also with honesty, "Eye on the prize, Eleven." Very few people seemed to get that, that they were working for something, something pretty damn important. It was worth dying for, supposedly, and maybe no one else was motivated by this, but he wanted to get to the end. And he didn't want to be held back by sissy Sallys and worrying Wilbers. And as much as D-3's cheer went against some sort of instinctual personality preference he had, he had to say the guy was practical. Plus, he seemed to be willing to what he needed to. Well, at least that was the impression Delta Ten got. If he was wrong, he'd probably find out soon enough.

"Well, that seems fine enough to me. I want to get out of here," Delta Ten said simply and then went off after the three, not caring if he had been 'uninvited' compared to two other of their squad-mates. He wanted to survive, not be liked. Right now that meant moving and sticking with people who had some damn common sense.

Delta one watched as everyone began to group together and leave, leaving her alone in the tent with few left. She then couldn't help but feel a little put out, when D-3 called out numbers to go with him, not including her own. She watched as D-ten joined the group, uninvited, and shrugged. She wasn't about to head off by herself! Though she hadn't been invited either, she followed along for now. She could always split away from them once they were outside.
And though D-3's early enthusiastic optimism had initially irratated One,she almost felt he might be one of the more trustworthy members of the group.
Though....she could also be very wrong about that.
Either way, she decided to follow them out, determined not to be left behind. If she stayed quiet and prooved her usefulness, maybe they wouldn't mind?

Delta Nine, though she wasn't pleased with being stuck with Delta Three and Delta Eleven (seriously, how was he so chipper and why did she insist on talking in the third person), at least someone had taken control.

She certainly wasn't going to. No, she'd be fine with just sitting here and waiting for ... well, she wasn't sure what she'd be waiting for, but she would be happy to do so.

On the other hand... if Eight was going with Three, well... she would go where the bandages went.

Inhaling deeply, Delta Nine left after Delta Three.

[Forgot to post here first sorry.]

He started the chit chat, but he zoned out for some reason....not really one to stick with it. Well...as chatty and happy as these people were many were taking there exits, so D2 would be too. Without a group he stepped out of the tent into a deathly white fog...maybe they wore these gas masks for a reason.

It seemed Three and Eleven were with him, somehow he was sure that in part was due to the extra bandages he had. He should feel used, he sort of even did, but he knew if it weren't this sort of life and death situation he would be really upset by being used.

As it was he didn't though. Instead he waited to see what would happen, if anyone else would join he, eleven and three.

Finally he headed out, not knowing if they were being followed.

(exit post. Really wondering who is with us.)

(( Entering from Dark Cove ))

It was like waking up almost. Like deja vu.

Was this the first day again? Was he cheery Delta-3, at the time simply D-3, assessing his teammates with a sweeping bow after grabbing his backpack and weapon.

But no. He woke up and remembered that he was Deli, first off. And as he sat up, he realized the tent was quite empty for the moment. As was the table.

No invisible rolling of the eyes. No hopeless looks. No Davii telling him he was off on his own, with several others tailing behind.

Alone.

Immediately he knew he had to find Thev and Thea again. And he knew their tent was somewhere on the lighthouse, as both teams had fought against the horse. But how to find them?

The only way was to go out and try. Maybe the fog was less outside with time passing.

And once he met them again, then . . . then they'd figure out what to do from there.

Making sure his pendant was still with him, Deli headed out.
