He still lay in silence, as he looked up for a bit, and calculated the mass and height of the mountain from what he could see. He also needed to find the first angles of the mountain to calculate the rest. This was what actually entertained him, and other people would be bored already. Extending his arms Demitrius sent his energy into the ground and spread it out into a large ten foot in diameter slab equivalent to the size of a bus before moving his hands and levitating the rock up through the pass. In this way he would avoid the problems of worrying about anyone slipping on the narrow icy trail. He would then navigate the massive stone up to the top of the pass and set it down before heading to the outer rim.

When the ground began to shake, Annek blinked. Her attention was drawn to Demitrius, who was currently controlling a large chunck of earth up the mountain. When he landed it, she jumped off of it to follow him again.

Haruki crossed his arms and waited at the entrance for Flower. He didn't need to pack anything at all, he only needed his life and he'd be fine! He looked up at the sky sighed, this was going to be rough on the both of them. I'm worried about myself now...am I strong? Ah...Flower's making me think funny. He was starting to doubt himself.

Feather ran up to Haruki and then skidded to a stop. Although, seeing how she wasn't really all that fast, the skid wasn't all that dramatic. For several minutes, she was bent over, trying to catch her breath, as she held up one hand as a way of asking Haruki to wait. Finally, she straightened up and, even though her face was still flushed red and her breath was still coming out heavily from her run to the gates, challenged, "Race you down!" before dashing off the side of the mountain. Yes, the bard really dashed clear off of the mountain, choosing to plummet down rather than take the long climb. With several Air Spouts, the girl managed to remain clear of the walls/ground of the mountain as she continued her controlled free-fall, controlled in the sense that whenever she got the chance, she would try to decelerate with wind magic as much as she could without actually touching the ground. As she neared the end of her fall, the base of the mountain, the girl expertly used a combination of a reverse Air Funnel and and one last Air Spout to both cushion her drop to the ground and to decelerate both herself and Sora at a rate that wouldn't crush them.

Haruki nodded and also jumped for it, being a kiranu a fall would not kill him, or even break his legs. He'd done this so many times before and nobody ever objected to it so he guessed it was okay. He copied Flower's exprt base-jumping skill, only closer to the bottom than her. He hit the ground with a rough impact, but on his legs. Being a kiranu it didn't really break his legs because of how the bones were, he was still a bit shaken though. "Note to self...don't jump off cliffs for fun..."

(OOC: Ultima, Pronta is built on the top of a mountain. Feather just jumped from the top all the way to the bottom. I don't think a kiranu berserker is able to do something like that without some help from either wind magic or a summon o_O ....)

(OOC: Actually, I didn't. I also couldn't tell from the post you wrote. To me, it looked like you thought Feather hopped down the mountain.)
Tsubasa couldn't help but laugh at Haruki's comment. On the other hand, the girl felt perfectly fine. Actually, more than fine. The plummet, or dive as she thought of it, was a refreshing experience with the wind whipping quickly by her. "So," the girl asked, laughter still present in her tone, "where are we going? Where do we need to go? How far is it? How high is it? What will we need? What will we do?". Haruki would quickly find himself buried in a mountain of questions all created by Feather.

"I don't know." Haruki answered to every single question, he was trying to sort his thoughts. "We're going to the Turnback Mountains, then we're going to climb it all the way to the top." Haruki said, after a while, noticing he was laying on his back. He stood up and dusted himself off, not knowing how to answer the other questions the answer was still "I don't know".

"Turnback Mountains?" Feather thought out loud as Sora did the same silently. The she hopped up slightly as she pounded a fist into her palm, "Ah! I think I remember it! Come on! Let's go!". With that, Tsubasa grasped Haruki's hand as firmly as she could and ran further away from the city. Of course, Haruki would be free to try and not go with the bard. He was much stronger than Feather was and could easily overpower her.
the girl thought, completely exhilarated with excitement.
Sora, however, couldn't help but feel a tinge of worry. The summon had also heard about the mountains and knew that they weren't safe by any means. However, he had known for a while that they would be their destination and had managed to make enough peace with himself to keep from trying to convince Feather to go back home.
