Amelia Frances
Dipping the end of her quill into her ink, Amelia looked up as the new teacher scowled Lily. Though she contemplated answering her question, she decided against it for this new Professor probably wasn't hoping for a no. So the young girl merely lowered her head, looking at the piece of parchment below her. Her name was written in neat letters quickly, but she was unsure what fact to give. Appearance was obvious, her empathic abilities were supposed to be hidden, she was a prankster, but that wasn't the best introduction to a teacher. Neither was the possibility she was going nuts. With a sigh she wrote down, My goal for the year is to read all the books available to me in the library. With a satisfied sigh, she moved the paper to the corner of her desk, awaiting more instructions.

"No," She mumbled sarcastically to herself. "I was talking to Headmistress Sing about firing the New Charms teacher." As she was mumbling that, she wrote the one fact on the parchment, that read, I love to duel, to challenge. The thrill is like a brilliance that I thrive. ╚══════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Liviana's eyes widened as the new teacher dictated her lesson. She silently slipped her hand into her bag to retrive parchment and writing instruments. Pressing her lips together, she penned: Quote: My day would be terrible if I didn't have at least one cup of Earl Grey tea. (You're welcome Meiko! Welcome to the wonderful world of being a college kid...it's going to go by fast! It did for me. whee )

Aludra Yvette... Aludra waltzed into the Charms room after her long absence from all of her classes, clearly late. It was such a good feeling to be back inside of the Charms room. She looked around the room and saw that they finally had a new charms teacher, Professor Farmer was no longer there. Maybe it was for the best, she wasnt the brightest teacher at the table but she was very kind. Hopefully they would be able to keep this one for longer then the week, and she silently prayed that this one wasnt as bad as the others. Aludra sat down in her usual spot and nodded towards the new Professor. "Hello." she said in a bored voice as she reached into her bag and pulled out a piece of parchment and a quill. "Does anyone know what we're doing?" she whipered to some nearby students. ...7th Year Slytherin

Liviana watched as her old friend, Aludra, entered the classroom late. Her stomach did a somersault. Her classmate took a seat and began whispering, asking about the lesson.
Liviana's already wide eyes began to look like blue china saucers as she tried to telepathically tell her friend not to say anything. 'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!' screeched Liviana in her head. 'She's going to ream you!'

Aludra Yvette... "Oh thank you!" Aludra said rather loudly. She was wondering why everyone was being so quiet and reserved. Usually this class was very lively and active but instead it was dead like a room full of zombies. But beside the zombie-class, it was an easy enough assignment to get done, especially since facts about ones life was plentiful. She ripped off a tiny piece of parchment and scribbled down 'I am a 7th year student.' True, it wasnt the most interesting fact about her but she didnt feel the need for a teacher to know about her personal preferences or life. After all, it wasnt for a teacher to know. ...7th Year Slytherin

Cerise Aimee BenoitWithout a second thought, Cerise raised her wand and jabbed the air, "Silencio!" directly at Aludra. She could have dealt with the minor whispering, she let off Lily's sarcastic comment (mainly due to Olivia's like of the girl) but to outright speak? Disgusting. Beyond disgusting. In her prim voice she addressed the room, "That class, es a charm. Et es also how you will enter and be in this class while I am teaching. Once you are practicing your charms you may speak. We'll see if we reach that point today." Turning on her heel, she returned to the stool. It was pathetic, sure the class was small, but no one knew what they had done the earlier part of the semester? She wasn't sure whom to blame, but someone was pathetic. Seeing that most of the class ((Harmony and Meiko, she can pick yours up later, don't worry)) had finished their information, with a wave of her wand, Professor Benoit brought them to her. She kept them in her hand reading them for a moment. Amelia's made her nod, as did Lily's, Liviana's made her almost smile, but it was crushed quickly by Aludra's. "Five points from Slytherin" She announced, placing the sheets on her desk, except for Aludra's, whom she'd hadn't used finite on yet. Placing hers on her desk she said, "A fact, I don't already know." with that she turned on her heel, returning to the front.
Her voice was full, though still harsh as she began to actually talk about her subject. It was obvious she truly did enjoy Charms. "This will not be an easy class. It will be full of work, and these spells will take practice. I will expect practice from you.* Now, to start off with, surely one of you must have been in a Charms class before, tell me, What is a Charm?" Her gaze circled the class, studying their faces to see how many knew the answer.
((*I do mean practice; if you can roleplay in your common room brushing your hair, you can roleplay practicing a spell. I'll keep an eye out to find everyone's; remember it won't be hard with a class this small. If you don't practice, I don't expect to see much improvement on your spells the next week. Though if you already know the spell, then obviously you won't need to improve.))Charms Professor

(( XD LOL, I see, and thanks again~~ Oh, and I think I won't edit my first post anymore, Ammy, since classes have already begun... let's just pretend that it didn't happen~ XD )) Meiko did what the professor had ordered them to do. She took out a piece of parchment from her bag and wrote stuff like: "I'm Meiko Rubi Waltz, a 7th year, and a Ravenclaw obviously. I love to read and sing mostly." After writing, Meiko grinned slightly as she saw her old friend Aludra, come in the room.

As the professor descended on Aludra, Liviana realized how very difficult the rest of this class would be. Pressing her lips together, she seemed to be trying to supress even her breathing.
Her interesting fact was collected, and the instructor asked her first question. What is a charm? Liviana scrambled furiously through her own mind trying to recall the exact definition.

Aludra Yvette... Aludra‘s hand quickly jumped up to her throat as the spell was cast at her. What was wrong with this cow of a woman? Daring to cast a spell on her after just having children… not the best idea on her part. Completely forgetting she was a witch, Aludra grabbed up her bag and quickly stood up from her seat and threw it at the woman. She pointed a blunt finger at her throat and resisted punching her good in the nose for what she had done. No one, absolutely NO one dared to cast a spell on her without dealing with her attitude after. ...7th Year Slytherin

Blaine entered quietly, then froze as a girl threw a bag at the new teacher. She wondered if it had been necessary. Then she noticed the girl glaring at the teacher and massaging her throat. Blaine assumed the teacher had performed some sort of spell on the girl to keep her silent. She fiddled with the black tips of her auburn hair as she took an empty seat in the back and waited for the teacher to notice her. Then again, maybe she didn't want the teacher to notice her. She seemed strict. Like, psycho-strict.

Surprised at such misbehavior, Cerise hesitated at casting the Protego charm, so that she could feel the force of the backpack hitting the shield as it was reflected towards her desk, scattering papers. Scowling, she practically hissed at Aludra, "Ten points from Slytherin. If you dislike my teaching skills, then leave my class." The latter was addressed to the entire class, as she added, "Merely come to me after class and take back your fact reports." With a sideways glance at the disrespectful girl, she commented, "You may leave now." Turning on her heel, she smiled at Lily. While at the same time scowling at the rest of the class. Did they ever think to open their books? No matter how clueless their teacher may be? "A good definition, Lily." She didn't even think of rewarding the girl with more than a compliment, as it was a fact the entire class should have already known; if anything she should remove points from everyone who didn't (while they could) answer. But she knew that would be too broad, and frowned upon.
Her face softened once more as she talked about her subject. Yes, Charms is a type of magic, which takes "normal" objects and makes them behavior abnormally. This could be dancing, singing or merely coming towards you." She made eye contact with each of her students, including Aludra as she had brushed off her behavior for now. Her voice was welcoming, encouraging them to learn. "Magic is both a gift and a discipline. It is not something as simple as making a wish as the Muggles believe. It takes a great deal of effort, study and hard work. Someone else now, tell me, one factor necessary to cast a spell." She scanned the room. This question she be easy. There shouldn't be any difficulty for any of the students, even the first years. For they all had been casting spells.

Amelia Frances Joan
Amelia was sort of scared. She couldn't believe that this teaching had been bold enough to silence a student. Then Aludra's reaction! Yes, there were an influx of emotions that was distracting her. She'd known the answer, but there was no way Amelia was going to raise her hand or answer without being called upon. She wanted to blend into the background of this class. Next time she was sitting beside the girl in the back. As loveable as Meiko and Liviana were, it barely outweighed the teacher's scariness. Though amazingly, she liked the way the Professor taught. She did seem to be quite knowledgeable about her subject, and have an incredible interest in it. Perhaps this class wouldn't be so bad...she hoped optimistically. Glancing at Liviana and Meiko.
