Emma smiled and nodded as the placenta poked up. It wasn't long before she could sit up and really hold the babies. She picked Ray Jr. She smiled at him. "Aren't you a handsome little man." She commented as the boy gave his own dark eyes out. "I hope Abby is ready to be an aunty again."

Ray shook his head. "Your only saying that 'cause he takes after you! I bet Nikki here's gonna be prettier than any girl in her class!" He cooed to the baby.

"They both better be good looking. I didn't have then in my belly for nine months and then pushed them out to be ugly." the women commented. She wondered if they would have any guess soon. She knew her mother would come by later when she could get Devlin to take care of the quads.

He nodded. "So, how long do you want me to stick around? I can go home and get the final touches on the nursery done..." He suggested.

Emma thought for a second. "Just long enough for anyone who's coming by to visit can see both of us." That was all within five hours. The twins would have to be in the hospital for at least a whole day before they were allowed to go home. "Is Abby, Lloyd or Lyndis coming?" She asked.

He shook his head. "Lyn's with Amy, Lloyd's off on tour, and Abby is on a trip to negotiate a trade agreement with the local troll settlement: They agree, new trade partners. They don't... Well, the territory gets bigger..." He explained, then quickly following up with a question of his own. "What about your parents? Shouldn't they already be here?" He asked.

"Ana and I went into labor at the same time. Someone has to take care of the quads so they can only come one at a time." Emma answered. They were probably fighting about who was going at the moment.

It had been clear that Ginger hand one because she walked right in after Ray commented about it. "Hello." She called out with a smile. She then went right to Nikki noticing a pink blanket. "Oh. She's so beautiful. You look just like you're papa."

Ginger turned to her grandson. She nearly started to coo at the child. "He's so cute as well. I love them. Ray seems to hold up his end of the gene's." she joked. She started to move the boys hard hair around.

Ray yawned slightly. "Well, I'd best be leaving to set up that nursery..." He said, slowly edging himself towards the door.

Emma nodded with a frown. She didn't want to be left alone. Even her mother was waving her to say goodbye. Within moments she was going to be alone. "Goodbye." She answered before they left. After they were gone she gave the babies to the nurses and started to get some rest.

Emma was still soundly asleep even after Ray came in. It wasn't like she really didn't want him to be near her at the time.
