She nodded, that was something she could understand, there was a lot about Seth that she didn't know, and its not like his reasoning was any of her business. just follow his orders, and learn what he's got to teach, in his very unique way of teaching. "I've been researching different methods of training a pokemon like this, I don't intend to use it as a regular pokemon, so training it might have to involve more technical means. I'll be using one method that seems to help with what I want it to learn."
She went to put the pokeball back onto her leg, when something he said caused her to pause, and her attention lift back up, "The Porygon experience, the one sponsored by the Poke'Tech science labs of Kodo...?" She said this as more of a question, to confirm that she... was thinking of the same thing he was. She certainly did recall a whole museum event like that when she was a much younger Faleen. "You've heard of that?"

Hayes brightened when Faleen showed knowledge of the exhibit. "Yeah," he grinned - a mild 'Yeah!' really. "I was ten or something - best field trip, hands down. Did you see it? They had this part where it'd go in and out of the computer, and you could write simple programs it'd execute- ow." He winced, pausing mid-gesture.
"-anyway." The blond cleared his throat and glanced at the progress bar. "It was pretty cool."
"" Binary observed, creasing her brow when her human managed to hurt himself in his enthusiasm.

It WAS the one he was talking about, she couldn't believe this, she hadn't met many people where were around Kodo that long ago. And the Exibit was such a huge part of her life, it was a trip from that age that she never forgot. She laughed a little, in clear pleasant surprise that he was actually talking about this. Leaning forward when he mentioned the one display they had set up, clearly excited about this realization. Lifting a hand to point at him, indicating she knew exactly what he was talking about, opening her mouth to speak. "Yes! I- oh" She cut herself off when he seemed to move in a way that jarred his injury. But he seemed to gather himself back quickly enough.
She smiled a little, sheepishly, knowing how annoying it was to be hindered by an injury "I went with my school as well, I remember that exact display actually." She was wearing a genuine smile, but she talked in a much calmer tone, her cheeks turning a little pink in excitment, but she kept things calm so he wouldn't feel compelled to move to much remember this. "It was my absolute favorite to watch, I would have stayed there the entire day if Mother hadn't insisted that we couldn't live there."
Umbreon found himself staring at the two humans with his brow furrowed. He knew Faleen could get excited, but this excited?

Hayes laughed - a real, open-mouthed laugh with a flash of white teeth and creased hazel eyes. "I tried. The teachers found me and dragged me onto the bus - they said they called over the PA system but I didn't hear it. Got in so much trouble. But," and the smile he wore turned into a grin, "I got my dad to take me back that weekend. And! I got to talk to the curator."
"" Binary blinked when the programmer laughed. "that..>" The young Umbreon turned wide gold eyes on her counterpart, hoping he had a better idea of what was going on.

She didn't expect to have this conversation with this, this was surprising... it was... pretty nice. The laugh he gave was infectious, she had never heard this laugh from him before. lifting a hand to her mouth, chuckling lightly as she pressed her fingers to her lips, listening to his story paying attention with her eyes on him. "Oh goodness, I was insistent in going back as well," She paused here, tilting her head a little "The curator, Tall gentleman, bald?" she asked. "I though I recalled that might have been him, but I was so focused on that display with the robotic arms. that the Porygon picked things up with."
Umbreon eyes flicked over to the other when she moved to look at him, frowning softly and twitching an ear, before shaking his head.

Hayes nodded along with the description, eyes on the agent across the table. "Yeah, what was his name.." He snapped his fingers, gloves muffling the sound. "Sanders! That's right. He was great - remembered me when I was back that summer for the programming camp. I think that's when I started seriously coding," he added, then went back to the main topic.
"Heh, I tried to get it to build a tower with that. Did you remember the big banners, the ones they'd screened some of the code onto?"
Well, there went an easy answer. Binary's ears twitched back and her brow furrowed. ""

She just smiled, listening to how he got into Programing, he he started pretty young himself. "Yes, I remember wondering what in the world they even meant." She blushed with another laugh "I guess some things don't exactly change much." She shook her head, "I could brag about how easy a robot arm was to make all day there, but the point of the exhibit just went right over my head." She had been quite the confident young girl...
At the question about the banners she nodded quickly again, knowing exactly what he was talking about. "I do, I remember those were the first things I saw when I walked in. They amazed me."
"So this means you are a native to Kodo than?" She asked, He did mention it was for a school trip, and that he took the programing camp for that summer.
This confused her. Though... he could understand her reaction.

"It was to get kids interested in science," Hayes supplied. "So it sounds like it hit dead on." She was here, reverse-engineering complex technology and fully enjoying herself in the process - that was as good a sign as you could get. He was grinning - smiling - and while his injuries dictated he stay relatively still, his eyes and expression were alive and bright.
The banners got a nod of agreement, and the question a blink. "Huh? Oh, yeah." He paused to twitch his glasses into place. "You too?"

"Indeed it did," She agreed with him. The engineer took a moment to look around the room, very fondly, at the tech and projects. Not looking away for to long before she returned her eyes to Hayes. This topic seemed to be as much fun for him as it was for her. She watched in content silence for a couple of seconds... she's never seen that look on his face before.
"I haven't talked about that museum to anyone before, its hard to find someone who's had that kind of interest, and there are not many Kodo native's that I've met here so far." She explained, gesturing casually with a hand as she talked, taking a pause to fold her hands on the table when she question was redirected at her. Well, she had started it by asking him, "I am." She confirmed with another soft nod.
Faleen was prone to blushing, Umbreon knew this, and it was usually easy to tell what feeling what provoking the blushing. He gathered it was excitement... happy. He grunted lightly

"Heh," Hayes chuckled, watching the way she looked at the half-constructed robots and tangles of wires. Yeah. It had definitely worked.
He blinked once when Faleen looked back at him, as if startled out of some thought, and refocused on her. "Yeah?" the blond interjected quietly, listening with a gentle grin. Then he laughed. "Yeah, I know, right? S'like everyone's a transfer. It's awesome to meet someone who actually knows the island.. oh, hey." He glanced down; the fluorescent overhead lights glinted off his glasses.
The progress bar had been full for a while; Hayes removed the USB stick from his 'dex and offered it back to Faleen. "Here y'go. Sorry there's no documentation; just call me if something goes wrong."
Binary took her cue from Umbreon's dour assessment. Her ears slicked back and eyes widened. ""

For that split second as she turned back to look at him, she had seen that he was still looking over at her. She wasn't sure where else she expected his attention to be on, maybe on the room as well, with her, or the little spot on the table.
She bowed her head a little, reaching her hand up once again to her neck, glancing over at the Umbreon with a soft smile. Though she was starting to realize just what all she had said to him without realizing it... She had never spoken about her mother before, not out aloud, and not ever since she was a Rocket. And the only time she ever touched on her past had been that one time she had been out with Will... she was going to have to be a little more careful from now on.
"Oh, Thank you Hayes" she said as he handed her back her USB, reaching forward to take it carefully, smiling politely. "If I can't figure something out I will ask you. if you'll be helping with the G-ball I'm sure I'll have plenty of opportunity."
Speaking on the G-ball, the computer next to them gave a series of beeps, indicating that the scans were finished.
Umbreon frowned, looking over at her he answered He knew that Master could only fully reply on one creature, and that was Umbreon himself. he knew for a fact, that he would be at her side, through everything until the day he died. Umbreon could not trust others to do the same.

"Sure," the agent smiled. "And if not-" Since if the G-ball turned out to be lacking anything special in the computer chip department, he'd be of little use, "-server room's just down the hall." He jerked a thumb over his shoulder, then turned his attention to the computer when it beeped. Time to work.
"So what've we got here.." Hayes' smile faded, replaced by an intent look as his eyes flicked back and forth over the readout.
Binary frowned back, out of confusion and a little bit of worry. ""

She nodded. knowing in the past when she needed to find him for one reason of the other her first place to look was the programmers lab. "I will, Thank you Hayes" she was looking forward to playing with this app, but when the computer announced the scan process complete and it drew the other Agent's attention, Faleen returned to her feet, returning her fingers to the consul as she brings up the two other scans she did prior to this one, leveling them with the newest ones.
"I'm working on detailed scans of each layer, this will give us more to work with when we start running simulations." she let Hayes look over the screens, picking up her tools as she once again hovered over the G-ball, eying the components closely, mapping out when steps to take next to continue dissembling it. "It's a gorgeous piece of hardware, unlike a normal pokeball it seems to need a much different power supply, one that is completely drained unfortunately." She carefully turned it over to point out a port in the bottom to indicate it probably had a station it was plugged into to charge. "So I'll have to reply on digging deeper into how its wired to see just how the power is dispersed properly throughout. That's also where the scans come in handy."
Umbreon shook his head his eyes narrowed softly, watching the two humans.

"Yeah.." Hayes muttered, acknowledging Faleen's words without taking his eyes off the screen. The agent leaned forward, grimacing at the burst of pain from his ribs. (However, this didn't stop him.) "Well, there's the chip.." He indicated a darker gray area with the familiar pattern of an integrated circuit. "If we pop that out I can take a look at it."
He looked over when Faleen revealed the port on the oversized sphere. "Looks custom." Or at least not like anything he'd encountered.
"<...>" The shiny Umbreon's eyes widened and her ears slicked back. Slowly, she sat up straighter and squinted, trying to get a better look at Faleen. She didn't look capable of doing serious damage to her human, but her Umbreon had been with her for a long time and knew her well. Maybe she could do anything.

"You are correct, it is custom" She confirmed, glancing down at it for a moment herself before she placed it back down onto the table. That would make things a little difficult with the reverse engineering, but she looking forward to the challenge.
Leaning forward when he pointed out a chip, she took a moment to peer in at what he was talking about, eyes working their way slowly around the half orb before she reached over for some of her tools.
Working on taking a few more layers and parts out of the G-ball, Faleen than gave a small hum of satisfaction, as a hand reached in an the chip was gently lifted out. "Here you are" she told the Agent, hanging it over to him.
Umbreon had a completely different meaning for what he had said, having no idea that the other Umbreon had taken it differently. His focus was on Hayes. Umbreon knew Faleen very well, he had seen sides of her that he knew no human on the base probably ever would, and he hoped he would never have to see her go through again. his eyes narrowed softly, watching as the other agent got closer, the two huddling around that large pokeball on the table.
